Got Till Five

Well, here we are. We reached the milestone of 100 Got Till Five episodes, but it's time to say goodbye. This podcast started in September 2017 and has ran consistently ever since. Starting as a wrestling podcast and then when we covered all possible topic we could think of we expanded into general pop culture top fives. Over the past four years we have been lucky to interview some of the best up and coming wrestlers from around the world. Featured in magazines. Been involved with shows up and down the country. The biggest accomplishment was interviewing the drummer of one of our join favourite bands, Descendents, much to our surprise. Interviews and worked with some fantastic fellow podcasts. Finally, we launched our own clothing brand. We have also had some of the greatest and most supportive fans who have stuck with us through thick and thin tuning in for every single episode which we couldn't be more thankful for. So, 100 episodes. One final big goodbye. Tune into this episode to relive some moments, do some last minute top five countdowns, hear from special guests, and give away some goodies. Thank you again for watching and supporting us on this fantastic journey.

Well, we are definitely nearing our end as this is the penultimate episode. In reality this will be the last top five episode we'll ever do as the last one will be more of a party hang out/reminisce. So, we figured why not try to do all of the Top Fives we can possibly do by using a wheel generator to pick our topics. We will spin the wheel and whatever topic comes up we have ten minutes to do a top five list and talk about it which we will do for a total of five topics. This episode is going to be chaos as we have no prep, no clue what's going to come up, or whether this will even work.

As we are nearing the end of our Got Till Five life we're very reflective and just want to share stories of what we enjoy. So, this week's episode will be us reminiscing about our personal favourite video games from across the years.

It's time to celebrate the bad guys! Sometimes in movies, TV shows, and books the antagonist gets the bad rap and is automatically viewed as evil. However, this isn't always the case as sometimes the so called "bad guys" have justifications for their actions. In today's episode we'll be exploring the top five examples of when the antagonist was in the right and the "good guy" just got in the way.

Hello new Punk enthusiast subscribers!!! You've been very patient since our Bill Stevenson/Descendents episode, so as a way of thank you we will be looking at the greatest punk rock albums to come out from 1990-1999. It was a very good decade filled with our very favourite music. We're excited to delve in and play you some tracks from the greatest punk rock albums from probably the best decade.

Time to play you some more sweet tunes. Today we are looking at our personal favourite singer songwriters to ever grace the musical space. A hard one to define when it comes to singer songwriters, but we're avoiding people who are just a part of a band. No Time to Die seems like the curse of the pandemic never to be released. However, this doesn't mean we can't get hyped for it's eventual release. In this week's episode me and Jesse decided the definitive Top Five James Bond Films to ever be made. Throughout the episode we'll also rank our favourite Bond actors, who should play James Bond next, and the coolest gadgets.

To celebrate the exciting announcement of Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus we have a lot of cool new games coming our way. So, in honour of these fantastic new games we thought we would look back at the classics that got us to this point. Taking a trip down memory lane we pick our top five favourite Pokemon games across all platforms.

Welcome to the most highbrow episode of Got Till Five ever produced, we're talking about Adam Sandler Movies. Now there's a stigma around Sandler's movies where there really shouldn't be. We look at the top five best Adam Sandler movies that if you're already a fan you can revisit, or if you've always been on the fence then now is the time to educate yourself of his genius. 

It's America Day!!! Or it was when this was recorded. Us limey brits wanted to tell the yanks exactly who they should be honouring as American heroes, so we did. We didn't take the stance of your typical heroes of George Washington, Captain American or Hulk Hogan. We picked real life everyday heroes that Americans far and wide can look up to as an inspiration.

Welcome to GT5 island! Well, two separate islands separated by 10 feet of water one for Max and one for Jesse. Welcome to the war!!! Our lovely sister podcast Game Till Five joined us on our last episode, we then put their number one choice 'Spirited Away' vs our pick of 'Castle in the Sky'. Well they must have clearly cheated and Russia'd the vote because they won making their number one cannon. So, this week we're doing a video game episode to really stick it to 'em. All of the Studio Ghibli movies are now on Netflix! We're continuing our trend of recommending good things for you to watch while in lockdown. Studio Ghibli are magical escapist movies that are beautifully animated and directed with fantastic stories. To help us pick the five best, we recruited some help from our sister podcast 'Game Till Five' to pick their favourite Ghibli movies going up against our favourites. They present two, we present two and then we battle it out for the number one spot to find the best Studio Ghibli movie. So have a listen and then settle down in front of the TV and go through some magical enchanting and beautiful animated films. 

So everyone is stuck inside and they have a lot of stuff to watch, more importantly Tiger King hysteria is sweeping the country and everyone loves a True Crime Doc.
