I want to alert you, so you don’t miss out on expert analysis and insider perspectives from my guests who provide tips that can help you uplift the community, improve your financial planning, motivation, or advice on how to be a successful entrepreneur. Keep winning! Two-time Emmy and Three-time NAACP Image Award-winning, television Executive Producer Rushion McDonald interviewed Mujahid Muhammad. Interview Purpose The purpose of this interview is to demystify personal finance, redefine wealth‑building, and emphasize the importance of preparation, capitalization, and disciplined planning. Mujahid Muhammad, a personal financial coach and founder of Wealth Coaching Stratosphere, shares a deeply personal journey marked by financial success, failure, rebuilding, and hard‑earned wisdom. Through candid storytelling, the interview reframes wealth not as risky speculation or quick wins, but as a long‑term process grounded in personal financial stability, liquidity, and informed decision‑making. The conversation is designed to help everyday people avoid common financial traps and approach real estate and investing from a position of strength rather than desperation. Major Themes & Key Takeaways 1. Experience Is the Best Teacher Mujahid’s financial philosophy is rooted in lived experience. After building a seven‑figure real estate portfolio early in life, he suffered devastating losses due to Hurricane Katrina and the 2008 housing collapse. These setbacks reshaped his understanding of leverage, risk, and preparation. Key takeaway: Financial success without safeguards can collapse quickly. 2. Leverage Without Liquidity Is Dangerous One of the most powerful lessons Mujahid shares is that being “asset‑rich but cash‑poor” is a vulnerable position. His earlier strategy relied heavily on leverage without sufficient reserves, leaving him exposed when disaster struck. Key takeaway: Liquidity is protection; leverage alone is not wealth. 3. Fix Personal Finance Before Building Businesses Mujahid stresses that many people pursue entrepreneurship or real estate in hopes of fixing personal financial struggles—often with disastrous results. Instead, personal financial stability must come first. Key takeaway: Solve your personal finances before using business to create wealth. 4. Wealth Is a Process, Not a Product The interview reinforces that financial improvement isn’t something you buy—it’s something you build over time. Mujahid emphasizes facing financial reality honestly instead of avoiding uncomfortable truths. Key takeaway: Progress starts by looking at the numbers, not ignoring them. 5. The Five Financial Stratospheres Mujahid introduces his Wealth Coaching Stratosphere model, outlining five levels of financial development: Financial Failure Financial Health Financial Fluency Financial Wealth Financial Independence Each stage represents a mindset and requires different behaviors and priorities. Key takeaway: Knowing your financial “stratosphere” determines your next move. 6. Capitalization Comes Before Real Estate Mujahid advises against entering real estate before reaching financial fluency. While creative financing exists, retaining real estate requires cash flow, reserves, and patience. Key takeaway: You can buy property with little money—but you cannot keep it that way. 7. The Importance of Capital and Opportunity Funds He emphasizes saving, emergency funds, and opportunity funds as prerequisites to investing. Capital allows individuals to recognize and act on opportunities without panic. Key takeaway: Capital creates clarity—and choices. 8. Infinite Banking and Financial Autonomy Mujahid explains the Infinite Banking Concept, which focuses on reclaiming control over the banking function through properly structured life insurance, allowing individuals to access capital without relying on traditional lenders. Key takeaway: Financial independence includes controlling how you access capital. 9. Debt Freedom Is Hard—but Worth It Through personal stories of tackling significant student loan and consumer debt, Mujahid emphasizes that debt freedom requires sacrifice, time, and unity—especially within marriage. Key takeaway: Debt freedom is attainable, but only through commitment and discipline. 10. Coaching Provides Accountability and Perspective Mujahid describes financial coaching as objective guidance from someone who has navigated the journey before. Coaching is positioned as a serious commitment, not casual advice. Key takeaway: Accountability accelerates growth. Notable Quotes “Leverage without liquidity is stupidity.” “We try to use business to solve personal finance problems—and that’s backwards.” “Wealth is a process, not a product.” “You can acquire real estate with no money—but you can’t keep it that way.” “Capitalization changes how you see opportunity.” “If you have a six‑figure income, your problem is usually you.” “Debt freedom is hard—but it’s worth it.” “Preparation puts you in a position of strength.” Overall Message Mujahid Muhammad’s interview is a ground‑truth masterclass in financial realism and discipline. His story strips away hype and reframes wealth creation as a methodical, values‑driven process that begins with personal accountability and preparation. Ultimately, the conversation challenges listeners to shift from chasing opportunity to becoming prepared for opportunity, reinforcing that sustainable wealth is built through patience, liquidity, education, and intentional planning. #SHMS #STRAW #BEST Money Making Conversations Master Class with Rushion McDonald is America's premier entrepreneurship, business leadership, financial literacy, and wealth-building podcast featuring successful entrepreneurs, executives, founders, celebrities, and industry experts sharing actionable insights for professional and financial success. New Money Making Conversations episodes drop daily. Interview Summary Interview with Rushion McDonald – Money Making Conversations Masterclass Interview Purpose The purpose of this interview is to demystify personal finance, redefine wealth‑building, and emphasize the importance of preparation, capitalization, and disciplined planning. #SHMS #STRAW #BEST #AMISee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

On February 14, 2007, elite paraglider Ewa Wiśnierska launched from an Australian mountain for a routine training flight. Within minutes, she was sucked into a massive cumulonimbus cloud and carried to altitudes where commercial jets cruise — with no oxygen, no pressurization, and temperatures colder than anywhere on Earth. Her GPS recorded everything that happened next, including 40 minutes she doesn't remember. Another pilot caught in the same storm wasn't as fortunate. This is the story of an accidental world record that no one would ever attempt on purpose. 00:06 Wilderness Aid Promo 01:08 Podcast Intro 01:31 Everest Storm Hook 03:33 Meet Eva The Champion 04:49 Race Day Warnings 06:07 Launch And Early Flight 06:43 What Is Paragliding 07:45 Storms On The Horizon 08:56 Sucked Into The Cloud 11:51 Hail And Hypothermia 13:59 Death Zone Explained 16:42 Record Altitude On GPS 18:07 Wing Collapse Begins 18:26 Wing Reopens Midair 19:24 Frozen Controls Decision 20:28 Spiraling Down to Land 21:36 Rescue Text and Aftermath 22:39 Another Pilot Lost 25:04 Hospital Miracle Recovery 26:51 Back Flying and Career 29:16 Data and World Record 31:16 Luck Lessons and Farewell Listen AD FREE: Support our podcast at patreaon: http://patreon.com/TheCruxTrueSurvivalPodcast Email us! thecruxsurvival@gmail.com Instagram https://www.instagram.com/thecruxpodcast/ Get schooled by Julie in outdoor wilderness medicine! https://www.headwatersfieldmedicine.com/ REFERENCES Wikipedia: Ewa Wiśnierska ABC News: "Paraglider Pulled Six Miles High by Storm — and Lives to Tell About It" (February 16, 2007) CBS News: "Paraglider Cheats Death In Thunderstorm" (February 16, 2007) The Sydney Morning Herald: "Ewa Sucked Into Storm and Lives to Tell" (February 17, 2007) People Magazine: Ewa Wiśnierska interview (September 2024) Cloud Appreciation Society: "Paraglider's Ears Nearly Fall off in a Cumulonimbus Cloud" (April 2007) The Age (Australia): "Storm Rider's Miracle Survival" (February 2007) Bored Panda: "'I Had No Idea Where I Was': Paraglider Explains How She Survived 10,000 Meters Above The Earth" (September 2024) Cultura Colectiva: "The Woman Who Survived Being Sucked Up 32,000 Feet High In A Storm" History and Other Things: "The Woman Who Survived The Storm" (October 2018) Noiser Podcasts / Real Survival Stories: "Ewa Wiśnierska: How to Survive in the Stratosphere" Freedom Parapente: "Maximum Altitude Record in Paragliding — Ewa Wisnierska" Dvorak News Blog: "Paraglider Survives Storm That Sucked Her Up to 32,000 Feet" (February 17, 2007) Documentary: Miracle in the Storm (ABC1 / France 5, 2010) Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Justin Selfridge, PhD, is Founder and CEO of Devorto Corporation. Devorto is developing a breakthrough high-altitude platform called the Tethered Uni-Rotor Network, or TURN—a completely new aircraft architecture designed to combine the vertical lift and loitering capability of a helicopter with the aerodynamic efficiency of an airplane, enabling long-duration, solar-powered flight in the stratosphere. At Devorto, leads the development of this next-generation persistent drone technology. Backed by both private investment and government support from organizations like NASA, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Space Force, Justin and his team are working to redefine how we think about high-altitude operations, with the potential to disrupt both satellite and traditional aerial platform markets. In this episode of the Drone Radio Show, Justin talks about why the stratosphere is such a critical domain for future aviation systems, how the TURN platform works and what makes it different from anything we've seen before, and the real-world applications and impact this technology could have across commercial and defense sectors.

Rigged Game - Blackjack, Card Counting, Slots, Casinos, poker and Advantage Play Podcast
This is day two of my Las Vegas trip. Unfortunately this trip has not been going as planned. I take some time to walk from the Wynn Casino all the way down to Stratosphere. I hit the casinos along the way. With some unusual circumstances. Later I play blackjack with an unknown card counter. I don't even think he knew that I was doing the same thing. I finish out my day at the Orleans where I had the most fun.

Are the Rockets not in the same stratosphere as the Spurs and Thunder? Astros weekend Tip of the Cap Junkie of the Day!
What does jumping off the Stratosphere in Las Vegas have to do with the future of supply chain marketing? In this episode of Supply Chain Decoded, host Jenni Ruiz sits down with Jennifer Karpus-Romain, Executive Director of the Transportation Marketing & Sales Association (TMSA), for a conversation that blends adrenaline, innovation, and the evolving role of AI in marketing and sales. Jennifer shares the story behind a recent charity jump for Move for Hunger, and how that same spirit of bold experimentation is shaping the future of TMSA's flagship conference, Elevate. Together, they unpack: • Why TMSA is launching role-based tracks for sales and marketing professionals • How a live AI tech showdown will replace the traditional keynote • The real way AI should support marketing teams (not replace them) • Why cutting professional development budgets may be supply chain's biggest mistake • And how tools like the “Convince Your Boss” toolkit help marketers prove ROI for conferences Jennifer also shares how she uses AI as a sparring partner rather than a replacement for human creativity and empathy, and why investing in people remains the most important strategy for any organization. If you work in supply chain sales, marketing, or leadership, this episode offers a fresh perspective on how the industry is evolving and how professionals can evolve with it. Listen in and learn why the future of supply chain isn't just about technology. It's about empowering the people behind it. -- Disclaimer: All views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the speakers and do not necessarily reflect the views or positions of Transfix, Inc. or any parent companies or affiliates or the companies with which the participants are affiliated, and may have been previously disseminated by them. The price of silver exploded this year, owing largely to increased demand for AI and other technologies, but China is also making a move that could spike the price into the stratosphere and also cause real problems for us here in the US. Craig Pirrong, Professor of Finance & Director of the Global Energy Management Institute at the University of Houston, joins Ian to make sense of what's going on.
Listen to 144 Future Now Show Bobby is on the road this week, but we do hear from him briefly. There are some fascinating developments of late, including the development of 100x faster and much cheaper optical computing, biomimicry applied to making a painless needle and cheap non-clogging micro printer nozzles from a mosquito’s probiscus, a fish filter for sifting out microplastics from your washing machine. Meanwhile NASA has lofted a massive high altitude helium balloon into the Stratosphere above the Antarctic, to study the weather and to look for evidence of the elusive Dark Matter, yet to be seen physically. And a motherload of lithium has been discovered in a volcanic caldera on the Nevada Oregon border, enough to create Lithium based batteries for dozens of years, freeing us from the tyranny of other countries controlling the supply. We conclude with a fascinating exoplanet discovery where the atmosphere potentially rains diamonds! And Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and New Year to you!

Braden Dennis stops by to discuss building Fiscal.ai. Long time show listeners may remember Stratosphere.io. That was "Era 1" of the company. Today, Braden is working on "Era 3" of the company; Fiscal.ai.Braden talks about building a product for himself, to acquiring customers, to early LLM adoption, and finally to competing with FactSet. Fiscal.ai recently raised $10mm in a Series A round led by Portage and Social Leverage. We hope you enjoy the conversation. It's a cool story.
