Life Elevation Church Podcast featuring speaker Cedrick Carter
Giants in the Land speaks to, and calls out the greatness invested in each one of us by Almighty God. Greatness which is determined to produce great fruit. The Apostle Paul encourages young Timothy to get a hold of the gift that he received by the laying on of hands, and "stir" it up; meaning to activate it. Don't allow the gift of God to be diminished, dormant, or even worse, forgotten. See God's pattern of planning and planting in all of creation. Recognize you God creation and the called of the Lord. Allow Him to shine through you and accomplish all. Live up to the God's image of you!
Honor the LORD with your wealth, and the first fruit of all your increase (produce or substance). Let's be honest, the topic of money is not always the most popular sermon of the year, yet we need to see what the word teaches on the subject. Listen in on this teaching from the ministry of Life Elevation Church on the biblical topic of giving. Understand the individual and corporate blessing connected to returning to the Lord the portion of our income which is Holy. "When God is First" with Cynthia Knaut.
LISTEN IN on Time in the Word from the ministry of Life Elevation Church. Can You Dig it, the message taken from the book of II Kings, chapter 3. Presented into our lives today, we trust God to the point that our expectation, and action reflect our faith in God to be faithful to His promise in every to area of our lives. We our set to trust God and actively pursue His Word, pursuing all that He has spoken over our lives and invested in our destiny.
In this teaching, “The More You Know”, Stephen Carter encourages the believer to step into a greater faith by means of accomplishing a deeper knowledge of our great God. Embracing the idea that God is continually seeking to move us forward in purpose and destiny, we should further agree ‘forward’ calls for us also to KNOW something more; and that knowing is from God’s perspective. Knowing God will mature us in our relationship with God and usher us into the purpose of God for our lives.
The Word of God remains the eternal and firm foundation upon which the believer builds his life. Join in the message with Minister Arthur Mora he teaches on the inportance of Sound Doctrine!
Is it possible that each one of us who is born of God has a destiny in God; a place to reach or a call to fulfill? This mission or destiny given is itself a work, even a promise that God desires to finish in us. There is for us, as it was for the recently freed Israelites, a journey to complete; often through, what seems like, a wilderness. How do we make it through? How do we not give up? There are lessons to learn from those who've come before us. The promise shown to us by God is one we can obtain, dwell in, and teach other to do the same.
Money! Offerings! Giving! Topics some pastors would rather not preach about and some congregants only want so much talk on the subject. Noted! However these are biblical topics and therefore we need biblical teaching and discussion on the subject. Today's message will be on the forbidden topics, however, not from the viewpoint of "giving" money but from the "position and purpose" of money and ow we are to use it as a tool in our lives. The key thing is found in the foundational text, Matthew 6:33, which encourages to put God first. This is the key to, not only, financial freedom, but total freedom. Coming into the new year, we are looking for God to do new things in our lives on both individual and corporate levels. Many times this will call for a shift in our thinking, as well as, our practices. This message speaks to just that, moving for places we are accustomed to in to the places and things where God is calling!
In pursuit of being the authentic church, it is important to maintain a sound theology of worship on both an individual and corporate level. There is a crucial distinction between living a life of worship in spirit and in truth vs in tradition and habit. God is seeking worshippers that recognize this distinction and seek to fellowship with Him on a deeper perpetual plane. It is on this plane that we can dial into His “frequency” and see His purpose in every season. To get to this place we must understand the nature of biblical worship, do a self-assessment of our own posture of worship and dismiss some of the inherited habits that hinder us from moving into deeper fellowship with God.
Often we reach out to people around us when we are going through a struggle thinking they will understand us, but when they don't "get it", we sometimes feel let down, discouraged, or more alone and sometimes translate those feelings toward/against God, thinking "Do you SEE me God?" "Do you get what I'm going through? Do you really know what I'm feeling right now?" All the time, God is watching/listening to us and asking, "Do YOU see ME?" God alone "sees" us accurately... whether we are in a point of grief, despair or feeling/being misunderstood. In order to realize this, we have to take time to "see" Him. This is the key to us realizing that God's love for us transcends everything else we will ever go through. Do you see Me?
Welcome guest speaker, Barry Rogers. In this message Pastor Barry discusses the challenges and requirements of effective leadership. He presents the call to love those we lead; how this and our trust in God can bring us all to a greater place in our lives.
In today’s church, we see many Christians suffering from spiritual heart disease: broken hearts, wounded hearts, discouraged hearts. One major cause for this common "heart condition" is disillusion. All of us, at some point or another can be susceptible to the frailty and fragile makeup of our humanity. Certainly those in ministry, as well as those in the pew, need frequent heart checks to confirm that our eyes and affections are correctly focused and set on Jesus alone. While serving, submitting to, honoring one another and giving double honor to those who lead within our spiritual communities is profitable, we cannot place our hope in the humanity of ourselves or others. It is necessary that we not lose sight of the fact that it is Christ we serve and in whom we place our undivided trust and hope. Keeping our hearts healthy and correctly aligned empowers us to fully live the life that models victorious Christian living.
It has always been God's desire to have fellowship with His people. Adam through his disobience severed the relationship between God and man creating the need for a Savior, a way back to God. Jesus, through His life, burial and resurrection becomes and remains the only way back into the presence of God our creator. His desire is not only tabernacle, or dwell in us by the Spirit of God, but for us to be in Him. In Him we can experience His glory, His goodness power and presence.
Today's installment in the Mind Over Matters series is presented by Stephen Carter. This series is directed toward the believer living in godly alignment; keeping our mind set on the goodness, faithfulness and principals of God. Certainly, this is accomplished only by grace and the work of Holy Spirit, at the same time, the call was extended to us to renew our minds, to set our minds on things above! As we go into this teaching embrace this idea:God given wisdom is the key to overcoming instability of the mind. Get Your Mind Right! Sermon Notes:https://bible.com/events/419968
In Acts 12 we see the story of Peter's release from prison by the miraculous hand of God. Peter returns to the home of Mary where his friends were praying for his safety and release. Upon seeing him they were all amazed. This is a true testament of God's power in the lives of believers. It is beautiful when we pray and things unfold in agreement with our desires. In today's message we'll discuss how we should respond in situations where we've prayed and believed, and the outcome reveals itself differently than we expected.
Within each of us God has instilled a desire, a passion, that propels us forward into our destiny that accomplishes His goals for our lives. Although we will go through seasons of challenges to our faith, we must not become disheartened and give up.
Welcome our speaker for today, Kandi Swift. There is an exchange that happens in worship. Although we enter into a time of worship to express our adoration and thankfulness to God, our understanding is that worship is for Him. However, every act that He requires or asks of us always has an exchange or a return. Today, we will discover that even more as we are worshiping Him, He is working on our behalf.
This teaching on the Holy Spirit has, for me, been one of the most powerful teachings for 2017 within our community. I will invite you to grab your bible and note pad a engage in this message with me for next hour! I am certain it will bring a meaningful impact into your life!
The Christmas season brings us to times of sharing gifts with family and loved ones! This "giving" reminds me of the most precious of gifts; this being the Gift of the Holy Spirit. In this teaching Pastor Cedrick encourages the believer to remember and stir up this, gift applying the power of the Holy spirit in all areas of life and living, demonstrating to the world the undeniable power of the living God.
Thanksgiving Day. A time when loved ones, friends and family bring the year to a pause in order to give thanks! At the risk of sounding predictable, for the believer this mode of thankfulness should be an everyday posture. However, even the believer needs to be reminded to thank God daily. It isn't too difficult to take for granted all the wonderful things we regularly enjoy! "...with Thanksgiving" reminds us all there is more to being thankful than we sometimes remember. Come along as we share together, ... with Thanksgiving. Luke 17:11-19
In part 2 of The Mantle, Pastor Barry speaks on the God Principal of discipleship, taking and making the opportunity to inspiring others to walk out the call God on their lives. Based on the laws of creation noted in Genesis 1, we learn that all things are created after its own kind. Applying this principal into our lives, we can encourage others to be all God has desired, especially in he areas where we've accomplished ground and learn valuable lessons. God looks for us to raise up leaders, teachers, ministers using the mantle we hold and sharing it with those coming into the kingdom behind us!
Pictured on the sermon panel for this message is the Mumfords, a family within our church community! I appreciate this particular picture because I know the family well; and I am personally acquainted with the day this picture was taken. Most importantly, I have been able to witness the result of God being present through much of all the "real life" experiences my friends have overcome in the last several months! This message titled Family Matters, states just that "family does matter!" I appreciate the sub title almost as much "real life, real struggles! Big God great victories!" The persons pictured above are not models or actors, and their names have not been changed. They are real people, doing real life, serving the real and almighty God! Question: What does it take to culivate a healthy family environment?

In this teaching Pastor Joya Rogers presents the question, “how do we stand while waiting on God’s Promises?" Certainly most of us have experienced a range of thoughts and emotions as we wait for God to perform His promises in our lives. Fear and doubt are normal, human emotions and we all at one time or another have had our battle with these emotions. In this lesson we can gather from the word of God principals that will lend us the ability to master the unavoidable seasons of waiting. As we do we will bring the opportunity for panic to a place of peace as we rest in the knowledge if God.
