In this message, Pastor Dale discusses the importance of addressing any “giants” that oppose or hinder our spiritual progress. Just as the children of Israel were required to drive out the giants who inhabited the Promised Land, born-again believers must also drive out any giants and tear down any enemy strongholds attached to their old lives. No matter how loud or how longstanding, these hindrances must go if we are to move into and fully occupy all God has promised us as His children.

Seth invites us into a world of Giants

In this episode, Caleb's conquest of Hebron unveils a shadowy past steeped in legends of giants that once roamed the land of Canaan. The Israelites, paralyzed by fear of these formidable beings—particularly the Anakim—hesitated to enter the Promised Land, viewing themselves as mere "grasshoppers" in comparison. Yet, as Joshua led the conquests, references to giants faded, with significant encounters primarily linked to Caleb's decisive victory in Hebron. Tracing the origins of these tribes back to the aftermath of Babel, the episode hints at a forgotten age when giants thrived. Though most were defeated before the Israelites arrived, the haunting legacy of their existence lingers, woven into the very fabric of the land. The Beatitudes describe the ideal disciple and his rewards, both present and future. In other words The person whom Jesus describes in this passage has a different quality of character and lifestyle than those still "outside the kingdom."  That's you and me!Despite the pressures, stress and  troubles we endure in pursuit of His promises,  we as believers continue to swim against the current of the world, Jesus knows this and through these beatitudes He's not only pronouncing blessings over His followers but also encouraging us, to endure in the Faith as people of God, looking forward to the blessings God has promised. At this point none of this may seem to line up with the title of this message but as we continue into the message, it will become clear that in the Beatitudes, Jesus is making it clear to us, that the challenges of being a disciple also means we are continually facing giants Support the show

Different kinds of giants chiristian people slay sand the main giant is their flesh. Daily we must learn to walk in the spirit of God so we don't fulfil the lust of our flesh. God is requiring much more than talk and going to a building we are calling the church.
