Sounds like we're breaking up. We are. Donezo. Out of here. Getting in my cryo-pod and crying myself into forever hybernation.
Good grief can we get into a regular rhythm with posting these episodes? Nah- probably not. We like taking abnormally long breaks to make you annoyed. just for fun. So Yeah. Listen as we blaze thru our favorite movies of 2018, even though we only saw like, 4 movies. Obviously we take a detour to talk star wars. But we talk Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere for a good long while. So saddle up. Buckle in and get to know us. Again.
Well. Here we are again. ok from now on in these episode descriptions i'm not going to use punctuations or correct spelling or correct grammar because no one reads these so theres that kipp and i talk about stuff and comic books and have a laugh good times
So we start on a path to talk about one of our new fantasy books- Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. Then we juke to Lord of the Rings. Then we take a hard left and diss on Shannara. Then we of course get excited about Star Wars. Then we wrap it up with Way of Kings. Then we decide to do a commentary of Stranger Things.
This one gets way serious in the beginning then gets lighter, then meanders around then gets funny then stupid then it ends.
Blade Runner. Blade Runner 2049. Prometheus. Alien Covenant. All Ridley Scott. All movies with flaws. But don't we all? Personally, I don't. So there's that. Special Guest: Terry Spence weighs in on Blade Runner fan theories. Are they true? You decide.
A 2 hour episode? The title of this episode is "This one is for Rich.." Why do you ask? Because he spoke to Kipp and Tyler about bringing back the podcast. We talk drum intros and we also take a massive smelly dump on the DC universe...just pace yourselves. Get some snacks. Put your feet up, and let this thing happen to your ear holes.
It's all in the title. I have nothing else to add. Does anyone actually read this part? If you do- email musicdudesscifigeeks@gmail.com and receive a free Kangaroo Coffee drink from Kipp at his stand located on fillmore! He usually works tuesday-saturday. If he's not there, well then, I guess you're just screwed.
This week we talk about the life and longevity of certain rock bands. Jack Panther makes a sweet appearance which leads to Kipp explaining time dilation, and Netflix's 'Black Mirror' original show. It's awesome, get into it.
Star Wars. Harry Potter. Just let this thing happen to you.
This week we discuss a few new sci fi movies coming out this fall and the possibility of going to Mars. Tyler discusses 2001: A Space Odyssey and how it differs from the book. We then launch into the similarities between 2001 and Interstellar. Kipp makes a bunch of examples and diagrams with his hands while his dog whines, barks, dreams and tears my office apart.
This week we begin by talking a bit about Terminator Salvation and why it may or may not be a boat load of crap. Kipp talks about Good and Evil and compares two of the largest fantasy realms embraced by pop culture. Tyler says a bunch of 'uh-huhs' and 'yeps.'

Best debut rock album(s)? Books and Movies HBO needs to reboot. Is Technology and social media destroying the music industry? Rush or Nirvana obsession? Would you rather be an extra or main character in a major film (credit to Mr. Sunday Movies for my answer)? Is the modern Fairy tale dead? Kingkiller Speculation.
Episode 100! We talk who birthed metal, who influenced, and who was the first heavy metal band. Plus the last great original movie.
