On Today's episode of the podcast, we have Ryan Paliukaitis, former IT guy turned real estate investor. Ryan is the pure definition of an entrepreneur as about a decade ago, his company was planning to fire several people and he offered to be one of those fired with a severance package. Ryan had dabbled a little into real estate at the time but the real estate bug gave him an itch that he needed to go all in for. So with the runway he got from the severance package, he bet on himself and made it work. Fast forward to now and Ryan is a wholesaler, flipper, and buy and hold guy who does several transactions a month to easily make tens of thousands a month. Eventually, he noticed as an agent that an agent does not make any money compared to a wholesaler or an investor. Therefore, with his skillset, he began flipping a few properties and giving out equity in return. After awhile, he grew again and started only giving debt. As you can clearly see, this week is a bit different as we Zoom Interview Taylor, but of course, speaking with him before, we had to get him on the show. Taylor gives us some great advice on how to get started and spend the day as a new investor. He explains how he basically bird-dogged from someone who was experienced so he can learn the business. He started about 4 years ago and has learned that the business is mostly mental endurance more then anything else. Everything else can be taught through trial and error or lessons learned.
