In dieser Episode bespreche ich das Buch "Post von Karlheinz" von Hasnain Kazim und teile meine persönlichen Eindrücke sowie eine detaillierte Rezension. Kazim, der täglich mit hasserfüllten E-Mails konfrontiert wird, hat sich entschieden, diesen Hass nicht einfach hinzunehmen, sondern ihn auf schlagfertige und humorvolle Weise zu kommentieren. Wir tauchen ein in die verschiedenen Kapitel des Buches, beginnend mit dem Kapitel über den Islam, in dem Kazim die Beleidigungen und Vorurteile, denen er ausgesetzt ist, offenbart. Besonders kraftvoll ist sein Hinweis, dass er länger in Deutschland lebt als viele seiner Kritiker. Diese persönlichen Geschichten und Anekdoten machen das Buch so lesenswert und auffallend ehrlich. Wir besprechen auch das komplexe Verhältnis, das Kazim zur Türkei hat, und die Herausforderungen, vor denen Journalisten stehen, wenn sie polarisiert diskutieren. Der Mut, sich mit diesen Themen auseinanderzusetzen, ist ein zentrales Anliegen von Kazim und wird in seinem Werk deutlich vermittelt. Das Thema Migration beschäftigt Österreich und Deutschland seit vielen Jahren. Spätestens seit der großen Fluchtbewegung 2015 ringt die Politik um den richtigen Umgang mit Asylsuchenden und Einwanderinnen, die zumeist aus dem Globalen Süden nach Europa kommen. Der Streit um Migrationsfragen findet aber auch an Küchentischen statt, bei Familienfeiern oder in der Kneipe. Mitte der 2010er-Jahre regierte in Deutschland noch die christdemokratische Kanzlerin Angela Merkel, Österreich hatte damals als Außenminister und später Kanzler Sebastian Kurz. Sie diskutieren, welche politischen Maßnahmen notwendig sind, um Konflikte zu vermeiden und ein friedliches Zusammenleben zu fördern. Dabei werden sowohl die Herausforderungen der vergangenen Jahre als auch Lösungsansätze für die Zukunft besprochen.
