Learn how by mid-December, 1776, the American Revolution was in desperate straits. Explore that after a series of defeats, the American Army had retreated through New Jersey and was stationed in Pennsylvania — with the British Army across the Delaware River. The Continental Army was on the verge of utter collapse. Overconfident, the British went into Winter Quarters. Congress gave George Washington enormous authority, and Washington used the lull in fighting and his new power to reorganize and strengthen his troops. Washington and his officers designed a daring attack on Hessian forces in Trenton, New Jersey. Before the battle, Washington inspired the troops through the reading of Thomas Paine's American Crisis. Follow Washington's troops through the winter storm, the crossing of the nearly frozen Delaware River, an arduous march, and the pitched battle. The fate of the new nation depends on it. Through divine intervention, Washington was able to mount a surprise attack on the hated Hessian troops in Trenton, winning an improbable victory, which became a critical turning point in the war. These are confusing times, to say the least (Cronos in Trenton NJ) voice. If I turn on the television, I can either pick a spirited debate about Kyrie Irving's YouTube recommendations, a panel discussion about who was the worst Nixon Richard, Mojo or Dale, or most confusingly of all, a gang of thugs labeling Coronation Street's Peter Barlow, “The Wokemeister” for his walking out on an (unnamed) racist band. So the answer, my friends, is NOT turn on the television and be a willing participant in the dumbing down of the human race, instead choosing to embrace this communications medium. Mixcloud is charging me a premium for the privilege of reaching dozens of you and with that in mind, opportunities to underwrite this program will soon be on offer. If you represent some sort of dubious dating app, job-seeker website or you're a purveyor of 50mg and up Delta gummies, HMU. Everyone has their price, mine just happens to be very reasonable.
This week you are in for a treat! For those of you who don't know, Jim, at one time, might have been the world's foremost authority of Firepro Wrestling and today we are talking about Gamerant's list of the greatest wrestling video games ever. Does Firepro get ranked? What does Jim think about this list and what wrestling game will be ranked as number one of all time? For any of you hardcore wrestling gamers out there, you will not believe what was ranked number 1! The reason we talked about video games in our intro this week was because TNA was promoting their video game and used it in Kurt Angle's intro video. So Jim will also provide his thoughts on that game. As far as a match goes, you couldn't have asked for more out of these two guys, but ultimately ridiculous stipulations and nonsensical post match booking ruined what was otherwise an absolutely outstanding match. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/sixmantagpodcast/support

The customer service is off the chain. I actually got emailed back the same day. Once, tech support went in to fix the problem and report to me that it's been taken care of. I'm a huge fan and that's the only reason I'm endorsing them. Leo Bridgewater Sr. currently serves as Director of Veteran's Outreach for Minorities for Medical Marijuana. Born and raised in Trenton NJ, he attended Trenton Central High School graduating in 1994. In 2001 Leo enlisted into the United States Army in response to the September 11 attacks in New York City and Washington DC and served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan as an Army Specialist. Leo's advocacy has seen him testify in NJ Senate Committee to have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) added to the NJ Medical Marijuana Program. In September of 2016 NJ Gov. Chris Christie signed bill S-2345 adding PTSD to the NJMMP. He is also a plaintiff in a lawsuit against Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the Department of Justice over the unconstitutional classification of cannabis as a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance. Harmony, the medical cannabis dispensary in Secaucus, honored Leo Bridgewater in time for Memorial Day by naming a cannabis strain after him, Bridge H2O. The strain was developed in consultation with Bridgewater to alleviate PTSD and anxiety, among other conditions, many veterans and others experience. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/cannabisdiversity/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/cannabisdiversity/support
Hi friends and followers of Gold Insight Podcast! On the podcast we had an incredible athlete and an even better person, Athing Mu. Athing is born and raised in Trenton NJ (609 represent) and is one of the brightest upcoming stars in the world of track and field. Athing, at the ripe age of 18, holds the American record in the 600m, is a 4x NBN National Champion, and was very close to being the first women's athlete in history to win the 200, 400, 800, and 1500 in the same AAU national championship. We very much look forward to seeing Athing walk in the steps of Sydney McLaughlin and become yet another NJ teenager to qualify for the Olympic team and the 609 will surely rally around her for it. She's also going to be at Texas A&M next year to run for their program. We had a great conversation (with much better audio quality) and I hope you enjoy!
