Ian Kimble has been involved in the film industry as a director, writer, and producer for over ten years. He first found his love for storytelling in the theatre, acting in professional regional productions in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area throughout high school. After some college he moved to New York to pursue formal training in multiple acting disciplines and directing for film. He returned to Philadelphia and began his career as a director, actor, and theatre teacher, directing and acting in numerous plays and musicals and teaching acting disciplines to high school and college students at Mainstage Center for the Arts. During this time, he also wrote, directed, and produced a number of short films, several of which achieving success in the festival circuit. Building off the success of his short film, he expanded Dead Giveaway into a feature film. Dead Giveaway completed filming during the summer of 2024 and starred Ruby Modine, Mikaela Hoover, and Scout Taylor-Compton. It will premiere in 2025. CEO Lisa Hughes, the former New Yorker chief business officer who took the role in 2020, has focused on shifting to a consumer revenue model — 70% of revenue now comes from readers through subscriptions, events, and donations. She discusses what's working: an AI tool called Scribe that monitors 30 municipal meetings to power hyperlocal suburban newsletters getting 75% open rates, a reinvented sales operation built around branded content and corporate reputation, a content strategy organized around being "useful, revealing, and responsive" rather than chasing prizes, and an aggressive regional expansion into South Jersey and beyond to grow the addressable market. Michelle Vittese is the head field hockey coach at Temple University. She has been in that role since taking over on an interim basis in August of 2021. That interim tag was removed a few months later in November. She has led the Owls to winning records in each the last four seasons, including a 12-6 ledger in 2025. She was a star field hockey player at the University of Virginia and played extensively for the US National Team including in the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics.
