Community is hard because people are messy. It is long and tiring, so many of us give up. But to not be in community is to live in sin

Our daily walk requires donning the whole armor of God.

A disciple is a follower who is becoming more like Jesus in all of life by the power of the holy Spirit and God's word.

God's path to glory is always through suffering. But the suffering is never in vain for believers.

Only Christ affords a path to heaven.

All of history hinges on the event of God's incarnation in the flesh.

When you are going through the furnace of affliction, it should give you comfort that God is keeping His eye on you, because He loves you.

God's Word is true, and His purposes are good.

True faith is followed by a continual pattern of obedience.

False prophets and self deception can lead us astray. We will know the truth by the fruits of that which we follow and worship.

No one is above questioning. The Scriptures are our source of truth. We are called to be discerning by examining and judging the fruit of those teachers who profess faith in Jesus.

We need to be narrow-minded as the Bible demands and as broad-minded as the Bible allows.

Jesus wants us to see our great need for our Father's great wisdom, mercy, and strength when we are a mess.

We are called to exercise good discernment and judgment. However, we must exercise this judgment with mercy.

God is intimately acquainted with unjust suffering. We can trust both His hatred of injustice and His forgiveness. We need them both.

God's generosity should move us to generosity.

Fasting helps us let go of created things for the Creator and Giver of all good things.

Knowledge alone does not prove that we are saved. We must be willing to lay aside our pride, preferences, and privileges to show that we belong to God.

Saving faith demands sharing the true faith with others, so that all of God's sheep will hear His voice and come to Him through grace by faith.

Our mindset for service is often self-oriented. We serve because we want to know what's in it for us. A servant's mindset is exampled in Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve, even unto death.

Living in community involves stewarding your time, talent, and resources for the glory of God and for the good of His people.
