Join Our FREE Start Repairing Credit Challenge: http://startrepairingcredit.com/ What we're seeing right now with student loans is unprecedented… Between January and March 2025, 2.2 million student loan borrowers lost more than 100 credit points. Another million borrowers lost 150 points or more. That means that if you had a 700 credit score, you could now be sitting at 550. That's the difference between qualifying for a mortgage and being denied for a basic credit card!In 2020, the government paused payments, with no interest and no late fees reported. Then came a 12-month grace period during which missed payments would still not hurt your credit. But that all ended in October of 2024… Now there is no more protection. And the changes are being enforced retroactively, which is why people are waking up to devastated credit scores with no warning. Look, I know you're scared. I know you're angry. And you should be. This student loan credit reporting crisis is very real. But here's the good news: it's also created massive opportunities for removal. All the violations happening right now? Lack of notification… false reporting… servicer screw-ups… Those are your weapons.Today, I'm going to show you how to use them and remove student loans for good.Tune in!Key Takeaways:00:00 Intro01:09 Student Loan Credit Crisis of 2025 Explained03:01 The Two Types of Student Loans 04:35 The Tactical Steps to Dispute Violations 10:57 My Final Point11:28 Outro Additional Resources:Get a free trial to Credit Repair CloudGet my free credit repair training Boost Your Credit Score INSTANTLY with Secured Credit CardsMake sure to subscribe so you stay up to date with our latest episodes.

This message, preached by Pastor Brock on August 24, 2025, continues our series on First Corinthians.
It is my privilege to invite you to today's sermon podcast. Drawing on Ephesians and 2 Corinthians, this message explores the difference between worldly sorrow and godly sorrow and urges listeners to confess sin, repent wholeheartedly, and embrace the forgiveness Jesus offers. Practical steps are given—confess quickly, repent sincerely, and remove the habits that keep you distant from God—so you can experience restored relationships, spiritual healing, and the freedom Christ provides. Habits of a Healthy Heart—4 Get Rid of Your Guilt: The Habit of Godly Sorrow 2 Corinthians 7:9-10 I. Introduction: “Caught in the Act!” Two Types of Sorrow Godly Sorrow à Repentance à salvation à No regrets Worldly Sorrow à Remorse à Spiritual death III. The Problem: Rebranding Sin Modern culture "sanitizes" and "rebrands" sin with less harsh words Defining Sin (Romans 3:23) hamartia - "missing the target" "All have sinned." Remorse vs. Repentance Remorse: being sorry for getting caught, not for the act. Rationalizing sin is the first sign of a cold heart. Repentance: a deep, honest brokenness over sin against God. The word "repent" literally means to "change one's mind which is evident by a change in actions.” How to Practice Godly Sorrow Confess quickly and repent wholeheartedly. 1 John 1:9 Conclusion: Blessed Are Those Who Mourn Matthew 5:4 - "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Build Your UX Shield: Policies That Deflect Drama and Defend StandardsLet's be honest. Policies and procedures aren't exactly the stuff of design conferences or portfolio showpieces. But when it comes to influencing your organization at scale, they're one of the most powerful tools you've got.In fact, if you do nothing else from this course, implementing even a handful of UX policies will make your life easier, your decisions more defensible, and your stakeholders more cooperative.Let me show you why.Why Policies Matter More Than You ThinkPolicies give you a way to shape behavior without having to show up in every meeting or fight every battle. They're like pre-agreed rules of engagement that help avoid awkward conversations or power struggles.Without them, every decision becomes a negotiation. With them, you shift from arguing your opinion to simply pointing to shared expectations. Here's why they're so effective:They're one step removed – Policies let you avoid head-to-head conflict. You're not saying no, the policy is.They aren't personal – They remove emotion from decisions. It's not about you, it's about following a standard. They demonstrate professionalism – Having documented policies signals maturity and reliability. You're not just winging it.Two Types of Policies, Two Types of PowerNot all policies are created equal. Some you can implement today. Others require broader buy-in.Here's how to tell them apart:Working PoliciesThese are about how you work: your own internal guidelines and expectations. You don't need permission from the wider organization to adopt them, just support from your line manager. They might include:How stakeholders should request work from youWhat project stages you follow (e.g., discovery, prototyping, testing)What kind of research or testing you always includeHow feedback is gathered, resolved, or escalatedWhat stakeholder involvement looks like (e.g., mandatory participation in user research)These help you define boundaries and manage expectations, especially when requests come flying in from all directions.Organizational PoliciesThese affect others more directly, and you'll need buy-in from leadership or cross-functional teams to adopt them. They could cover:Minimum UX testing before product releasesContent rules or accessibility standardsWho gets to make design decisions (and on what basis)Prioritization frameworks for UX improvementsResearch or compliance requirementsYes, these take longer to get approved, but they provide long-term benefits. They embed UX best practices that last beyond your team. How to Write a Good PolicyPolicies don't need to be long. In fact, the best ones are short, sharp, and based on logic everyone can follow.A simple if–then format works beautifully:“If a stakeholder hasn't observed user research in the past 6 weeks, then they cannot act as a primary decision-maker on the project.”That's an actual policy used by the UK's Government Digital Service. It's clear, fair, and easy to enforce.Once you've drafted something in plain language, you can always use ChatGPT or similar tools to polish it into more formal language if needed.Don't let perfection get in the way of progress. A rough Google Doc of 3–5 working policies is a great start.Outie's AsideIf you run a freelance practice or agency, you might think policies sound a bit bureaucratic. But they can be a lifesaver, especially when dealing with clients who want everything yesterday and expect UX magic on demand.Try developing your own internal working policies, like what you require from clients before starting work (e.g., user interviews, existing data), or your process for revisions and testing. These help you stay focused and reduce friction. You can also use policies to educate clients subtly. Add a policy to your proposals or onboarding docs that says something like:“All new features must undergo at least one usability test before release.”It's not a demand. It's how you work. And it positions you as the expert, not just a designer-for-hire.Your Action StepPick one area of friction in your work (maybe it's rushed feedback or lack of research involvement) and write a working policy for it. Keep it simple. If–then is your friend. In the next email, we'll look at probably the most powerful policy of them all: how to prioritize your work. It's one of the most powerful ways to stop reactive work and start being more strategic with your UX efforts.Talk soon,Paul
DOWNLOAD KEYNOTE SLIDES Summary of Message by Pastor Bryan Hudson, D.Min. “Developing Mountain Moving Faith” Part Three from the series, “Lord, Teach Us to Pray” Scripture Foundation: Matthew 17:14–21 The message centers on the account of a father who brings his tormented son to Jesus after the disciples failed to heal him. Jesus rebukes the demon, heals the boy, and rebukes His disciples for their unbelief—despite their intentions and prior efforts. He then teaches that “this kind” (of challenge and deliverance) only comes through prayer and fasting. Main Theme: Faith Must Be Developed to Move Mountains Dr. Hudson emphasizes that faith is not automatic or instant; it must be cultivated, prepared, and developed over time, just like any skilled profession. This sermon explores how true faith—faith that produces results and moves mountains—develops through process, prayer, fasting, discipline, and refining trials. Key Points and Lessons 1. Faith Needs Development Faith is not a switch to flip but a process to grow. The disciples believed they could help the boy but lacked the spiritual development to meet the challenge. Just as craftsmen hone their skills over time, believers must grow in faith through experience and learning. “You don't start moving mountains. You start moving molehills.” 2. Understanding Unbelief Unbelief is not the absence of belief, but the lack of preparedness to meet a spiritual demand. Like a trained athlete who stops training and fails despite past success, the disciples failed because they were not ready. Unbelief = underdeveloped or unfocused faith. 3. Faith as a Mustard Seed Jesus didn't say “faith the size of” a mustard seed, but “faith as a mustard seed”—meaning faith that grows. Mustard seed faith starts small but is planted, nurtured, and grows into something powerful. Growth can happen quickly when we are willing to lean into God and walk away from distractions. 4. Two Types of Faith Faith (noun): Beliefs, doctrine, lifestyle (Jude 3). Faith (verb): Belief in action—obedient steps based on God's Word (Matthew 17:20). “You cannot have active faith without sound doctrine. Faith comes by hearing the Word.” 5. The Power of Prayer and Fasting Prayer and fasting are not about moving God—they move you. They shift your attention away from self-centered routines and help you focus on God. Fasting is not merely about abstaining from food; it's about setting aside personal pleasure and self-satisfaction to align with God's will. “You can't focus on yourself and focus on God at the same time.” 6. Hindrance to Faith: Offense and Bitterness Harboring offense or bitterness blocks faith development. Many offenses are not even sins—just preferences or misunderstandings. Scripture (Proverbs 19:11, Matthew 18:15) instructs believers to let go of offense or address it directly if it's a true sin. “Don't let anyone live rent-free in your mind and hinder your faith.” 7. Faith Must Have Corresponding Action (James 2:14–20) Faith without works is dead. Words alone are not enough. True faith produces change—in your heart, life, and lifestyle. Faith is not a transaction, but a lifestyle aligned with the will of God. “Faith is a habit—a consistent way of living and trusting God.” 8. Faith Will Be Tested by Fire (1 Peter 1:6–7) Trials are part of faith development. God uses refining fire to purify and strengthen our faith. Gold becomes more valuable after it is tested by fire—and so does genuine faith. “You won't burn up. You'll come out better, stronger, purer.” Key Quotes and Reflections “Faith is developed, not downloaded.” “Prayer and fasting don't move God—they move you.” “Unbelief is not disbelief; it's unpreparedness.” “Mountain-moving faith grows through molehill-moving obedience.” “Let go of offense—it's not worth stunting your faith.” Final Prayer and Exhortation Dr. Hudson concludes by thanking God for the process of developing faith. He encourages believers to embrace: The disciplines of prayer and fasting The necessity of letting go of offense The value of genuine, tested faith “Lord, thank You that our faith grows like a mustard seed—from a small beginning to something great and fruitful.” Summary Statement Developing mountain-moving faith is a journey of spiritual growth, intentional focus, disciplined habits, and grace under fire. Faith doesn't just appear; it is formed in the presence of God, shaped by the Word, tested by trials, and manifested through love, obedience, and action.

Hey Rainmakers! It's Chelsey and Stephen, and if you've ever dreamed of writing a children's book, creating a journal, or making money on Amazon without being a professional author or illustrator—this episode is your sign. We just launched our second children's book (woohoo!) and wanted to share exactly how we did it, step by step, using Amazon KDP. This is hands-off income that ANYONE can do—yes, even you! In today's convo, we break down the misconceptions that stop people from ever starting—like thinking you need to be creative, tech-savvy, or have a huge budget. Spoiler: you don't. From coloring books to scissor skill books, journals to productivity planners, we explain how low-content books are the sweet spot for busy moms and creative dreamers alike. We even share how a 12-year-old inspired us at a conference with her DIY coloring book! We walk through how Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) works—basically, Amazon prints and ships your book on demand, so there's no need to buy inventory upfront. Whether you're using Canva, hiring help on Fiverr, or using AI tools like ChatGPT to help write the story, there are endless ways to create beautiful books quickly and easily. We also dive into two types of creators: the passion project folks (we see you legacy-builders!) and the strategic sellers who want to make real income. For those in the second group, Stephen breaks down how to use keywords, categories, and white label content to build a product that people are actually searching for. PLUS—we share the resource we love that teaches this whole process in-depth (linked below!). So if you've ever said, “I want to make a book someday,” let this be your wake-up call. You can do this—and we're cheering you on every step of the way. With the brand-new year, I figured it would be a good idea to talk with an expert on the topic of health and fitness. For almost 10 years, I've suggested that if a man is just getting on (or back on) the path of self-development, the gym is the best place to start. There are a lot of reason for this but I think my guest, Brandon Mancine would agree. Today, Brandon and I talk about three types of fitness goals every man should implement (all three have merit), why a broken past does not define you, weight-lifting benchmarks all men should hit (or be working towards), the importance of intelligent lifting – especially as we get older, getting over “ego lifting,” and why now is the perfect time to get strong.
