Sara talks about how struggling or sometimes downright refusing, to say "no" has affected her in her career, relationship with others, and with God. Sarah Mae lists the reasons she thinks it's so hard for her to say "no", including one she and Sara have in common - people-pleasing. Join them for a frank discussion on the need for healthy boundaries in all areas of life from vocation to relationships. In this week's episode, Sara & Sarah Mae discuss the reflections they each had after reading the story from Matthew 14 where Jesus walks on the water and invites Peter to do the same. Sarah Mae wonders how long it would have taken her to step out of the boat and shares how the fears of failure and disappointment are struggles that she has faced in the past. Sara asks herself the question, "Do I see the world through fear or faith?" She also shares how the fear of disappointing God or not being good enough has influenced her relationship with Him, and how He's inviting her to lay that fear down. They felt inspired to focus on this topic today because both of their pastors preached on this passage last week...coincidence? We think not!

Join Sara & Sarah Mae for, perhaps, one of their favorite episodes to date where they dote on their lovely, adorable fur-babies. They discuss how they came to be "dog moms," share all about their dogs' wild antics, and argue about whose dog is the cutest. 

Things look a bit different on the podcast this week. Sara & Sarah Mae have both been having one of those weeks when they are just feeling "grey," so they get really vulnerable and share what that's been like for them.
