In Matthew 4:1-11, we see a powerful moment in Jesus' life that offers us deep spiritual insight today. Jesus, filled with the Spirit, enters the wilderness where The devil tempts him. It's a reminder that even when walking closely with God, we are not exempt from trials. Sometimes our spiritual journey leads us into places of testing.

Scripture: "Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.'" (Matthew 9:37-38, KJV) In these verses, Jesus looks out at the multitudes of people who are weary, scattered, and in need of direction. He likens them to a field ripe for harvest, full of potential, ready to be gathered in. However, there is a problem: while the harvest is abundant, the workers are few.

With everything happening in the world today, you may feel anxious or overwhelmed. However, God has commanded that when we see all these things happening, we should look to Him and focus on Him.

We look at what is spiritual warfare. Spiritual warfare is a battle that takes place in the spiritual realm between invisible angelic forces that manifest in the visible physical realm, which affects us. Spiritual warfare can be classified into two categories: offensive and defensive. Offensive warfare involves tearing down the strongholds that the enemy has formed in your mind through deception and accusations. Defensive warfare involves guarding yourself against the tactics or schemes of the devil.

Life is a constant battle between right and wrong or between the flesh and the spirit. I have often found myself trying to do right but end up doing wrong, to which I repent quickly. It reminds me of when Paul said in Romans 7:15-20, “I don't understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead, I do what I hate. But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it. And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can't. I want to do what is good, but I don't. I don't want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. But if I do what I don't want to do, I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.” It, therefore, illustrates the importance of daily feeding our spirit with the word of God so we will be able to conquer our fleshly desires. We live in a world than often use self- promotion over humility. However, humility is a catalyst for personal growth and development. Some see humility as a weaknesses. However, one thing I have learn is when you have humility you are walking in wisdom You see humility brings you peace, Gives you freedom and self love, It helps you to have genuine love for others. And It builds trust and inspires loyalty. It is important to cultivate and walk in humility because it can foster positive change in our lives and in the world around us. Our scripture text is taken from: 2 Kings 5:1-16 The story of Naaman, who was a leper. We look at how he was able to be healed because of his humility.

If you have a dream to achieve you must have determination and perseverance because life will throw you some obstacles that would make you want to give up.

Key points from the episodes -The seed represents the word of God -The soil represents our hearts - We also looked at the four types of hearts mentioned in the parable. - The first was a heart of doubt- these were the seeds that were sown on the pathway. -The second was a superficial heart - these were the seeds that were sown amongst the rocks. -The third was a heart of lust - these were the seeds that were sown amongst the thorns. -And the fourth was a pure heart- these were the seeds that were sown on good ground and brought forth fruit.

A devotional Text is taken from Luke 15:4-6 In life, we pursue what we value. For some, it may be a job, money, or a home, while for others, it may be their family. Whatever we value, we make an effort to ensure that everything goes well with it.

In 1 Timothy 4:12, we find an exhortation from Paul to Timothy that specifies guidelines for setting a godly example. Paul writes, “Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.”

In John 15:1-2, Jesus taught that branches not producing fruit should be cut off and burned, while the fruitful ones should be pruned to yield even more fruit. Similarly, on our life journey, there may be things and people we must let go of to reach the next level.
