In this episode of the 2 Be Better Podcast, Chris and Peaches kick off Season 4 with real talk about what it actually takes to build a regulated, connected life and marriage. They share behind-the-scenes updates on their growing community, retreats, and content, including the upcoming “I Am Whole” women's retreat with seminars on feminine embodiment, devotional motherhood and wifehood, shadow work, nervous system regulation, and self-liberation. If you're craving feminine energy work, women's retreats, self-care, and practical marriage tools from a husband and wife who actually live this, this conversation sets the tone for intentional growth in 2026 and beyond. From there, they dive deep into a YouTube comment about a defensive husband with childhood trauma and unpack what “30 years of conditioning” really means, how reactivity forms, and how to talk to a defensive partner without blowing up the relationship. Using real examples from their marriage and a powerful email from a Patreon member in a 22-year trauma-bonded relationship, they tackle the hard questions: how to stop living in survival mode, how to break generational trauma for your kids, what the roommate phase really is, when you're just not trying versus when it's actually time to let go, and how to rebuild intimacy by choice, not by accident. If you've ever wondered whether to stay, leave, or fight for your marriage, this episode gives you grounded marriage advice, communication scripts, mindset shifts, and perspective on healing trauma in relationships so you can make a clear, conscious decision about your future.Disclaimer: We are not professionals. We break down the Dolphins' recent performance as Tua Tagovailoa shares that he's happy winning even without throwing the ball often. Joe weighs in on Mike McDaniel's play calling — generally solid, though occasionally “too cute” — and praises the defense, highlighting Jack Jones, Rasul Douglas, Jordyn Brooks, and Tyrell Dodson. Special teams have been quietly excellent this season, and the team's strengths on both sides of the ball should give the Steelers fits. Over the past four games, Miami has recorded 10 of their 17 total takeaways, showing the impact of their defensive turnaround
In this episode of Barca Talk, hosts Troy and Carlos discuss Barcelona's recent Champions League match against Frankfurt, analyzing the team's performance, defensive issues, and the impact of fan dynamics. They delve into the challenges faced by the midfield and striker positions, while also looking ahead to upcoming matches and the potential for making the top eight in the Champions League. The conversation shifts to Real Madrid's struggles and managerial situation, concluding with reflections on player performances and future prospects for both teams. Takeaways Barcelona's recent win against Frankfurt was crucial for their Champions League aspirations. Fan dynamics played a significant role in the atmosphere during the match. Defensive lapses continue to be a concern for Barcelona, particularly in key moments. The midfield's performance is critical, especially with injuries affecting key players. Striker options are limited, and the team needs to find a reliable solution moving forward. Upcoming matches are pivotal for Barcelona to secure a top eight finish in the Champions League. Real Madrid's struggles highlight the challenges of managing a team with high expectations. Xabi Alonso's future as Real Madrid's manager is uncertain amid poor results. The importance of team harmony over individual star power is emphasized in player acquisitions. Player performances, particularly from Kunde, are vital for Barcelona's success. FIRST HOUR 9-915 Baltic Defenses and NATO's Uncertain Resolve: Colleague Blaine Holt discusses the Baltics preparing defensive "Mino lines" and bunkers fearing a potential Russian attack, noting Baltic citizens feel trapped between NATO bureaucracy and Russian hybrid warfare while doubting NATO's resolve to intervene, arguing diplomatic solutions are necessary as Europe lacks resources for a cohesive defense. 915-930 NATO's Viability and Europe's Demographic Shifts: Colleague Blaine Holt questions NATO's viability through 2050, citing rising US sentiment to withdraw and Europe's demographic shifts due to mass migration, warning that diverging values and economic instability could lead to civil unrest or new geopolitical alignments between Russia, China, and the US. 930-945 European Leaders Meet Zelenskyy Amid Strategic Dilemmas: Colleague Judy Dempsey discusses the "Big Three" European leaders meeting Zelenskyy, questioning their ability to resolve the war without wider coalitions, noting the EU is bypassing unanimity rules to seize Russian assets but struggles with the dilemma of offering Ukraine EU membership while demanding territorial concessions. 945-1000 Europe's Lack of Self-Confidence Facing Global Challenges: Colleague Judy Dempsey criticizes Europe's lack of self-confidence and ambition when facing Trump's transactional administration and Chinese aggression, arguing European leaders complain about US criticism rather than leveraging their own economic power, noting they are "sleepwalking" regarding the auto industry and dependencies on China. SECOND HOUR 10-1015 The National Security Strategy and the First Island Chain: Colleague Steve Yates analyzes the National Security Strategy's focus on the "first island chain" and deterrence against China's bullying of Japan and the Philippines, noting the CCP's obsession with WWII-era Japan for propaganda fails to resonate regionally as neighbors face modern Chinese aggression and grey zone tactics. 1015-1030 Nvidia Chip Sales to China Raise National Security Concerns: Colleague Brandon Weichert reports on the Trump administration approving Nvidia H200 chip sales to China while taking a 25% cut, warning this transactional approach compromises national security by aiding China's military AI, signaling a shift from hawkish policies to favoring business interests like soybeans. 1030-1045 SpaceX Dominance and the Golden Dome Defense Project: Colleague Bob Zimmerman highlights SpaceX's dominance with record-breaking booster reuse and launch frequency compared to rivals, discussing the secretive "Golden Dome" defense project, defects on the Orion capsule's hatch threatening the Artemis mission, and Airbus surprisingly choosing a Chinese satellite constellation for in-flight internet. 1045-1100 Cosmological Crises and Mars Rover Progress: Colleague Bob Zimmerman details cosmological crises including the "Hubble tension" where expansion rates conflict and a baffling 7-hour gamma-ray burst, reporting on Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS images confirming it is a comet rather than a spacecraft, and the Perseverance rover moving toward promising mining terrain on Mars. THIRD HOUR 1100-1115 The 1605 Gunpowder Plot and Catholic Desperation: Colleague Claire Jackson explains the 1605 Gunpowder Plot as a desperate attempt by Catholics, frustrated by James I's retention of penal laws and peace with Spain, to destroy the Protestant establishment, with the plotters aiming to kill the king and install a puppet Catholic monarch amidst the ensuing chaos. 1115-1130 The Mirror of Great Britain and James I's Violent Childhood: Colleague Claire Jackson explains the "Mirror of Great Britain" jewel symbolizing James I's union plans, though it was destroyed during the Civil Wars, detailing his violent childhood in Scotland, his father Darnley's murder, and his separation from his mother Mary Queen of Scots, which shaped his intellectual upbringing. 1130-1145 The Hampton Court Conference and the King James Bible: Colleague Claire Jackson describes how James I convened the Hampton Court Conference to resolve religious differences, resulting in the King James Bible, highlighting his unique role as an author of works like Basilikon Doron, using print to converse with subjects and establish the divine right of kings. 1145-1200 James I as Ecumenicist Amid Confessional Complexity: Colleague Claire Jackson portrays James I as an ecumenicist seeking accommodation, provided Catholics recognized his temporal authority via an Oath of Allegiance, noting he faced a "confessional complexity" ruling Protestant Scotland and England alongside Catholic Ireland, aiming to isolate radical Jesuits from the loyal majority. FOURTH HOUR 12-1215 Commodities Update from France: Colleague Simon Constable reports from France on unseasonably warm weather and rising copper prices driven by tech demand, noting cocoa prices dropped while coffee remains expensive, discussing farmers' effective non-violent protests in Europe and contrasting European energy shortages with the electricity needs of AI development. 1215-1230 UK Labour's Struggles and the Workers' Rights Bill: Colleague Simon Constable analyzes the UK Labour Party's struggles despite a large majority, citing Keir Starmer's low approval, warning that the return of "Red Rayner" and a new workers' rights bill preventing easy firing could stifle economic growth and deter foreign investment, worsening Britain's debt. 1230-1245 The National Security Strategy as Transatlantic "Divorce Papers": Colleague Blaine Holt argues the National Security Strategy resembles "divorce papers" for a perilous transatlantic relationship, contending Europe, having de-industrialized, refuses Trump's diplomatic efforts to end the Ukraine war, fearing the aftermath of a conflict they cannot sustain against a re-industrialized Russia. 1245-100 AM Penang's Boom Contrasts with China's Decline: Colleague Charles Ortel contrasts Penang's economic boom and diverse hardworking culture with China's decline, discussing China's suppressed financial data and property crisis with Gordon Chang, arguing Western elites were "bought off" by Beijing while investors should demand transparency regarding assets trapped in ChiNA.
Baltic Defenses and NATO's Uncertain Resolve: Colleague Blaine Holt discusses the Baltics preparing defensive "Mino lines" and bunkers fearing a potential Russian attack, noting Baltic citizens feel trapped between NATO bureaucracy and Russian hybrid warfare while doubting NATO's resolve to intervene, arguing diplomatic solutions are necessary as Europe lacks resources for a cohesive defense. 1848

All the boys are on for this one… and it was a horrible afternoon. We got into:
Last week, Washington's coaching staff signed 25 players during the early signing period. In this podcast, Dawgman's Scott Eklund and Chris Fetters go through each of the 12 defensive prospects who signed and where they see each one fitting in once they arrive. A big focus was the versatility of the defensive prospects including top in-state prospect Derek Colman-Brusa who could play almost anywhere along the defensive line next season. He is joined by another top in-state prospect in O'Dea's David Schwerzel who signed late on Wednesday with the Dawgs as well as top out-of-state targets Tufanua Ionatana Umu-Cais and JD Hill and a developmental prospect like Ta'a Malu who is only in his second season of playing football. At linebacker the Huskies added two long, hard-hitting athletes at the position in Ramzak Fruean and Ezaya Tokio, each of whom is over 6'4" tall. In the secondary, much like the defensive line, the Huskies added five players, four of which could project at four different positions in the deep patrol. Elijah Durr, Jeron Jones and Ksani Jiles each look like they are fits at corner. Gavin Day, a hard-hitting safety from the state of Nevada, will be an in-the-box safety while Rahsjon Duncan is a swing player who could play both safety or corner and was called by national pundits/analysts the hardest hitting corner in class. The Bears roll into Lambeau as 6.5-point underdogs with Rome Odunze already ruled out, a crumbling defensive front, and a quarterback who's basically Bryce Young with better legs. Ryan goes top-to-bottom on Chicago's roster: the "elite" O-line that's actually one rookie LT disaster away from chaos, a run game that disappears against good defenses, Caleb's pressure allergy, and a defense that's lost its only decent linebacker and can't rush the passer to save its life. If the Packers bring energy, this could get ugly fast. Key Discussion Points Caleb Williams 2025 vs 2024: the "improvement" myth exposed with brutal comps to Bryce Young Rome Odunze out – who steps up and why Zacchaeus + Burden probably isn't enough Bears O-line deep dive: rookie LT panic button, aging veterans, and regression risks Defensive meltdown: Grady Jarrett washed, Montez Sweat fading, no interior push, LB corps in shambles This episode is brought to you by PrizePicks! In this week's episode, Vance Bedford and Sam Webb discussed Michigan's defensive performance in its 27-9 loss to Ohio State. Bedford criticizes the defense for failing to stop vertical routes, poor alignment, and ineffective blitzing. He also criticizes the offense for putting excessive pressure on the defense, highlighting the importance of scoring touchdowns instead of field goals, noting that field goals gave Ohio State a chance to come back. Bedford then shifts focus back to the defense, emphasizing the need for better fundamentals, communication, and technique in the secondary and linebacker positions moving forward. He suggests that the defense needs to improve its pass rush, in both talent and technique, to compete at a championship level. Who is your Inner Child, and what are they (still) saying? It's amazing how strongly our little selves show up in our adult lives. Buckle Up – in this hilarious, profound conversation, Glennon, Abby, and Amanda invite their inner children to come forward and share their delights, blessings, and curses with the Pod Squad. Together, we spiral around: - Why some of us become the family “feeler” and others the “fixer,” and how we can all become more whole; - How to honor the part of you who planned, dreamed, or disassociated to survive, without letting that little kid run your whole adult life; and - How Abby is using music, dancing, and play as an antidote to her anxiety.
RUNDOWN Time for a post-Thanksgiving catch-up — from Hotshot's massive Bonnie Lake feast (and industrial-sized leftovers) to Mitch explaining why he avoids other people's stuffing, small talk, and social gatherings altogether. The guys 'roll' into a playful celebration of area code 360, spotlighting surprising celebrity ties: Sam Elliott's Clark College days, Hilary Swank's Bellingham childhood, The Rock's Vancouver roots, and of course Kurt Cobain — whose Aberdeen home, schools, and legacy still anchor the region. Mitch and Hotshot mourn Washington's deflating rivalry loss to Oregon, wondering what's happened to Damon Williams over the last few weeks and whether Jed Fisch's 8–4 season is real progress or just a tiny baby step. They pivot to the Seahawks' 26–0 shutout of a completely overmatched Vikings team led by one-and-done starter Max Broer, raising fresh concerns about Sam Darnold, a sputtering passing game, and what—if anything—you can actually learn from a win like that. Mitch then slips into full "Mr. Playoffs" mode, mapping out the Rams–Seahawks tiebreaker hell. Brady and Jacson join Mitch to break down Seattle's emphatic 26–0 shutout of Minnesota — the team's first since 2015 — powered by five takeaways, four sacks, and total defensive domination of an undrafted rookie QB. While the win keeps Seattle tied atop the NFC West, all three acknowledge the troubling offensive trend. The crew debates whether this defense — with Ernest Jones ascending, DeMarcus Lawrence wrecking pockets, Reek Woolen surging, and reinforcements like Julian Love near return — is good enough to carry a sputtering offense deep into January. Rick joins Mitch to dissect Washington's season-ending loss to Oregon — highlighting Damon Williams' late-year regression, disorganized reads, and off-timed footwork, while crediting Dante Moore for outplaying him in a game UW needed. They walk through the wild coaching carousel (Lane Kiffin to LSU? Will Ole Miss even let him coach the playoff?) and unravel the tangled playoff math: whether the Ohio State–Indiana loser still deserves a bye, how an Alabama loss would knock them out, and why Texas Tech's "purchased darlings" have a real shot to win it all.
