In a game of inches, we ended up a few yards short and to the right. In a frustrating loss where Sam Darnold must take most of the blame, there were other moments and aspects, good and bad, that added to this tough loss to our largest rivals, the Rams. There were some good points to focus on, too. Defensive efforts come under the spotlight, notably the exceptional play from Tariq Woolen, a crucial tackle for loss by Boye Mafe, as well as the importance of second-half adjustments. Some surprising stats jumped out as we dug into the box score, too. While it felt like most of the pressure came from the right side, two-thirds of the pressure actually came from the left. Plus, there was one play by the guards and led to Ken Walker getting absolutely blown up in the backfield. Tune in for some of the good moments, as we sprinkle in some of the bad moments that you'd expect out of this game. Join our Sea Hawkers Podcast Pickem League - free prizes for weekly winners. Jennifer speaks with Zen teacher Diane Musho Hamilton and facilitator Gabriel Kaigen Wilson about walking a spiritual path: not just waking up to our inherent belonging, but growing up into emotional maturity, flexibility, and courage. At the heart of the conversation is the tension many of us live inside—between enlightenment and the ego, urgency and presence, identity and oneness. Diane and Gabe offer practical, compassionate tools for navigating modern complexity without abandoning ourselves or each other. In this conversation, we explore:Why oneness isn't enough to navigate conflict: why we need both the spiritual path (waking up) and the developmental path (growing up).How identity can be both a safe home and a tight boundary: why flexibility is essential for compassion, clarity, and connection. How reflective listening calms the nervous system; and becomes a practical, transformative way to stay connected through difference and polarization.Come join us for a light hearted conversation on how to trust the grit and wisdom of our entangled, modern life. They delve into injury updates, player transactions, and the struggles of the special teams. The conversation shifts to a detailed analysis of the defense's performance, highlighting their ability to contain the Eagles' offense. However, they express frustration over the offensive challenges, particularly the play calling and fourth down decisions. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers left Week 11 with a mix of excitement and frustration after falling in a high-scoring battle against the Buffalo Bills. Tampa Bay's offense finally found a ground identity behind Sean Tucker, who delivered his best performance of the season with over 100 rushing yards and three total touchdowns. Baker Mayfield added another rushing score while the offensive line opened lanes that kept the Bucs in the game until the fourth quarter. Despite the loss, this was one of the most complete offensive outings of the year, and it gives Tampa Bay a clear direction heading into the final stretch of the season. Defensively, the Buccaneers continued their trend of creating takeaways, with rookies Jacob Parrish and SirVocea Dennis both grabbing interceptions, and Tykee Smith adding more plays on the ball. However, explosive plays allowed in the passing game ultimately cost Tampa Bay the chance to pull off the upset. With Sunday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams up next, the Bucs must tighten coverage, limit big plays and keep feeding Sean Tucker if they want to get back in the win column. This matchup could determine whether the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stay in the NFC playoff race. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
The Seahawks had a masterful performance on defense to keep the game within reach in the final seconds of the game. Ultimately, the loss to the Los Angeles Rams comes down to critical mistakes and costly turnovers by Sam Darnold. However, he did bounce back from his four interceptions to give Jason Meyers a shot even after the offense was pinned at the 1-yard line by the Rams special teams unit. The offense also suffered a major injury in the final moments of the game that is likely going to test the depth of the offensive line and put further stress on Darnold down the stretch. Tune in to our live reaction as we talk about what we'll need to see moving forward from our Seahawks to make a playoff run.

Featured Musician: Terry Klein THE VIDEO: [After THE JUMP: Things discussable.] --------------------- Not necessarily in this order. 1. Northwestern Preview starts at the top They're fine. Their offense plods but for one good receiver or when their QB throws an INT, which he's got accuracy problems that were visible when he was a Rhett Ashlee QB at SMU. Their defense is decent, rotates, plays sound football of a Lloyd variety. Alex likes edge Aidan Hubbard more than Michael Kilbane (whom PFF prefers). Their DTs are a little undersized so they jump behind the line of scrimmage, which Nebraska was able to exploit down the stretch. 2. Northwestern Preview cont. wsg Rodger Sherman starts at 13:56 What's it like being a Northwestern fan these days? It's spending $800 million on an unnecessary stadium instead of players, because you can't put your name on players. 3. Wake Forest After-Action Report, and a short TCU Preview starts at 27:45 How many ways can we say Mara is a star? Defensive ceiling is ridiculous. Three-big lineup needs a name. We also talk about Matt D's findings regarding the defensive play of Michigan's guards, which was not at all what we expected. 4. Purdue Upon Further Review starts at 44:58 Young offensive line plus Zack Marshall and Jalen Hoffman continue to be good blockers—might meet their match vs Ohio State. Jordan Marshall is a beast. Bryce's second half wasn't great either—he was not feeling comfortable in the pocket, missed some RPO reads he made earlier. Need a bye to get right. Defensively, I wasn't mad about Wink. Don't say on the internet that I was mad. Defensively the kids were not alright and the defensive rotations were still weird, but more explainable given the injury circumstances. Long drives were explainable until Purdue figured out they were just running nail (where you insert a blitzing LB as a 5th lineman and play 5-1). Interested in Lugard Edokpayi. Featured Artist: Terry Klein I usually don't go for country music, but I do when it's made by Terry Klein (LSA 1995), a folk country artist from Austin who's been touring festivals the most hallowed singer-songwriter venues across the country for decades, and reading a lot of MGoBlog between stops.
