God calls us to live our lives worthy of the grace He's given us in Christ.
Walk Worthy series will take us through the book of Ephesians. Jesus has united the church into one body and we are to walk worthy of the calling that we have been given. Though we will be going through entire chapters during this period, it will be up to the speaker to choose which parts of each chapter to focus on or highlight if the chapter is lengthy or delves into various topics.

On this month's episode of Walk Worthy, we're discussing a viewer request—gluttony. We live in a culture of consumption, whether it's food, media or material items; but the Bible is clear that believers are called to live lives of self-control. Join us as we discuss what causes us to be gluttonous and how God gives us the power to walk in self-control as we're called to.

In this message from Ephesians 4:1–6, Pastor Jim calls the church to walk in a manner worthy of the calling we have received. After three chapters of celebrating our new identity in Christ as one family, Jim shows that unity is not something we manufacture but something the Spirit has already created and we are called to preserve. With humility, gentleness, patience, and a commitment to bear with one another in love, we reflect the oneness of one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of all. Jim challenges the cultural currents of division, outrage, and self-advancement that shape us throughout the week and invites us to root our identity fully in Christ instead. Because Jesus humbled himself, gave up his seat at the table, and welcomed us into God's household, we are now empowered to extend that same grace to one another. The church becomes a living masterpiece when we eagerly work to preserve our God-given unity, displaying the wisdom of God to a watching world.

Pastor Josh looks at Ephesians 4:17-32 in the sermon series, Walk Worthy.
This Sunday we stay in Ephesians 4 where Pastor Chris builds off of Pastor Dana's message from the previous week. The primary passage focused on in this message is Ephesians 4: 1-7; where Pastor Chris highlights the redeeming power of the Gospel brining in life and light to all the nations, therefore with that in mind we should be 'walking out' the faith in accordance with what Christ has given us through his sacrifice on the cross. We should examine all of ourselves for the signs of maturity which come flow forth forth from the body of Christ (his church.
On this month's episode of Walk Worthy, we're discussing Jesus' radical commandment to love our enemies. This isn't a passive putting-up-with, but an active blessing of those who curse us. Join us as we discuss why this is an important commandment of Jesus and what it might look like in your everyday life to truly “Love Your Enemies.”

Colossians 1:9-10 The post Five Steps to Walk Worthy appeared first on Grace Church Greeley.
After last weeks pre-recorded messages with guest minister Samuel Whitefield and Pastor Chris, we are back in the book of Ephesians. Pastor Dana camps out in chapter 4 of the book, where Paul lays out the riches (spiritually) which are gifted to those in Christ, showing us how by receiving these riches we should now "walk out" our faith, that by unity with both the Holy Spirit and the body of Christ (The Church), we can love others as God has loved us and bring the grace and mercy of God to the world.
Pastor Josh looks at Ephesians 4:7-16 in the sermon series, Walk Worthy.
In our algorithm-driven world, we've grown used to filtering out everything that doesn't match our preferences. Paul calls us to something radically different. In Ephesians 4, he tells us to “bear with one another in love,” using the Greek word anechomai, which means to be patient with and accept others as they are. It's about learning to live with others when they are difficult, different, or don't think like we do. Following Jesus means resisting the urge to demand people change to fit our preferences and instead learning to love them as they are.
Sometimes life can feel like one giant group project where we didn't get to pick our teammates. Combine that tension with short emotional fuses, and we can easily lash out at the people closest to us - the people we love most. We aren't the only ones to face this - Paul's letter in Ephesians discloses that the early church faced similar tensions that we do today. What if there were a way to create space between what happens to us and how we react? We learn about three powerful ways to lengthen our fuse and transform relationships.
This sermon is taken from Ephesians. The first three chapters tell us the divine blessings that make the worthy walk described in the last three chapters possible. The believer is chosen, predestined, adopted, accepted in the Beloved, redeemed and forgiven by the shed blood of Christ, participants in the final gathering together of all things in Christ (both Jew and Gentile and heaven and earth), and all of this is experienced “in Christ,” in the heavenlies. The person who has experienced these blessings “in Christ” is equipped to live a worthy walk. Eph. 4 calls the believer to walk in unity, in holiness, in love, and in hope and courage. We walk in unity as we walk in humility, meekness, patience, and forbearance in love. These are the attitudes that make a worthy walk possible. Paul's letter to the Ephesians reveals that walking worthy isn't about earning our value through good behavior, but living from the security of knowing we're already worthy because of Christ. True humility flows from being anchored in God's love rather than seeking worth from external sources like achievements or approval. Christ-centered humility, combined with gentleness, creates unity in families, churches, and communities by allowing us to contribute to healing rather than division.

Is your faith a lifestyle or just a Sunday costume? Welcome back to The Drive! In our first episode of the New Year, Pastor Spencer and Bob dive deep into Colossians 1:9-12 to unpack one of the most challenging commands in Scripture: Walking Worthy. This isn't about "Christianese" or faking perfection. It's about the spiritual discipline required to be a soldier for Christ. We're talking about the difference between self-righteousness and God's righteousness, why the "health and wealth" mindset is failing us, and why—sometimes—you have to "Embrace the Suck" to find true spiritual growth.Drawing from the discipline of Iron Lotus Martial Arts and the doctrine of the Bible, we break down how to stop letting your feelings dictate your path and start letting the Spirit of Truth lead the way.In this episode, we cover:
It can be a struggle sometimes to comprehend the concept of “walking worthy” in our calling. It can be interpreted as an aspirational challenge that only creates feelings of inadequacy, which can lead to cycles of comparison, judgment, or division within Christian communities. In Ephesians, Paul was addressing an early church that struggled with unity among diverse believers. The key is understanding the difference between aspirational worthiness and intrinsic worthiness.

The unity provided to the Church by Christ brings God glory. As such, it must be preserved. Thus, God calls us to walk worthy, putting off the old life and putting on the new life in Christ. Unity is preserved by putting on the righteousness of Christ as we put off the old life.
