Welcome to the show Malik Joe! I'm pretty sure we didn't talk about anything we "thought" we would talk about on this episode. I mean we did *briefly* chat about the ability to turn your hobbies or passions into your career (Malik is the first official *professional* d1ckhead straight out of Philadelphia). However, on this episode you get the opportunity to see him through a different lens, my favorite - the lover boy lens! Malik explains why he believes that we are currently living' through the great depression of dating while seemingly staying optimistic for his best friend & lover who has gotttttt to be on their way! Of course there are challenges today around dating, intimacy, societal expectations & even gender roles but we laugh our way through this episode while we navigate it all. Lock in with us for this hour as we take it all off the pedestal & explore the real love before the love - your relationship with self that bleeds into all your other connections & relationships. Let's chat, let's learn, let's giggle & play. You can find Malik on socials here IG: @therealmalikjoeTT: @therealmalikjoeX: @therealmalikjoe

Guided by Zena is back for an unscripted story time all about signs. Sit down with us while we talk all things signs, spirit guides, angels & the fun of “dancing” with the Univserse, source, God, whatever “higher up” you believe it.
As you may or may not know (depending on whether or not you see my antic play out on Instagram) over the course of the last month I have gone through some major life changes which has gotten in the way a bit of the podcast. I have about 4 or 5 episodes back logged - this being one of them. I wasn't going to post this episode as it was originally recorded right before valentines day & now its almost April BUUUUUT I decided we are due for an episode & self love is always hot on my list so we are going to RUN IT!!Here's the catch - this episode will only stay up until the next one is edited & posted so not to be dramatic but get it while ya can!! In this episode you just get me, Maura, alone in my room talking to myself through talking to you. It's easy to get wrapped up in half ass love, unclear situations, toxic relationships, etc. in an effort to avoid the inevitable life long partner we all tend to over look - OURSELVES!! I talk about the different ways I practice self love, the importance of self love, how being chronically single was my worst nightmare and in turn my biggest blessing & more.
On this weeks episode I had the opportunity to sit down & chat with CJ aka KingC. I originally came across his tiktok a few months ago & decided to reach out to him to talk about his journey with his spirituality and the places it has led him throughout the years. Throughout our time together chatting we discussed what our spiritual journeys look like, how we got to where we are, the power of connection & love, music & other art forms as vehicles for manifestation and so much more.
Tap In the Podcast 2021 edition is officially underway! On episode seven we sit down with DeWayne McMurry aka Steezus Christ a professional day dream chaser turned day dream liver. Skateboarder, podcaster, gamer, Libra, high vibration being. Luckily for us, my bumble habit has payed off & secured us a sit down with this legend for a freestyle chat about manifestation, taking back your power, perspective, positivity, the power of believing in yourself & a recap of 2020.
On episode six we get the opportunity to sit down with Guided by Zena, a intuitive, tarot reader, reiki master, empath, coach, guide - complete & utter light filled bad ass!!! Fun fact - Zena was the original co-host of Tap In so her time with us on this episode is extra special & anticipated. We talk about everything from tools of spirituality like tarot cards, reiki, meditation, journaling & knowledge of chakras to inutiotion, duality, recognizing the differences between thinking & feeling, leading from your heart, the power of intention & connection. This is one of my favorite interviews thus far - Tap In!

On this episode I sat down with a long time friend & astrology freak Connell O'Brien. We chat about the 12 zodiac signs, the elements, modalities, houses, aspects & what all of the hell alll of these things even are! We plant the seed of what exactly “astrology” is, we explore the basics & lay the foundation for anyone who is unsure of it & whether or not it's real - hence the title of this episode. We get into it but not tooooo into it!
This week I sit down with Amelia, a cohost of a new podcast called the Ethereal Eye, a healer, reiki master, tarot reader & all around being of light. I met Amelia 3 years ago at a nail salon in Venice, CA during one of the most pivotal times of her life. Small acts of kindness, compassion & connection can make a world of difference. Kick it with us as we walk through her story from a past of addiction & homelessness to healing herself & others. We talk about her new podcast, simplifying spirituality & all the aspects that may fall under that umbrella. Gems dropped throughout this episode relate to: addiction, narratives that no longer serve us, shame, ego, shadow work, compassion, accountability, victim mentality, changed perspectives, toxic positivity, tarot, channeling, focus in relation to manifestation, magnetism, Fairy Garden, creating over competing, the power of our words & more.
Today's episode is co-hosted by a high school classmate turned Internet friend turned real life best friend - Jackie Keifer recorded on the home turf in Philadelphia. We talk about friends, making friends as we get older, the divine timing of friendships (new & old), how the internet is a cheat code for connecting with new people aligned with your purpose along with the next level of you, friendship break ups, astrology of your friend groups & more. Tap in for a bit, I promise you'll learn a few things!
“The Philadelphia Interlude” tap in with the Philly fam as we debrief Maur's east coast shenanigans while providing some giggles & a few gems! Nico Oso hops in the drivers seat of this interlude with Jackie K. & Santino. We chat about glacier boys & California fires, what “home” is, things we “love to see,” the experience of Wawa, the best fries in philly, Venmo requests, being “flown out” by potential suitors, a potential homecoming from LA & more. I flew across the country pretty much to just pick up Fairy Garden merch & surprise my mom so we run the highlight reel of the trip & my antics that filled it! Highlights of this interlude include a discussion of my work in LA as a hairstylist working with “celebrities” in particularly the rooms favorite - Dr. Pimple Popper (an inspiration & icon). I spill some tea about the things you don't get to see behind the scenes on set with celebrities. The importance of understanding that everything isn't always as it seems especially in the media & the importance of loving yourself as well as a reminder that self-love is a muscle EVERYONE has to build & nurture forever. Oso teaches us about “Icy girl quick math” while we talk about a trek from Philly to north jersey to see a man in real life for the first time & vibe check to see if he deserves my attention. Mental real estate is valuable so you gotta do “temp checks!” It's fun in here, come hang out.
I feel like we have all been there countless times - in an interpersonal relationship feeling confused, conflicted or unsure of what was going on but at the same time, too comfortable to ask for clarity or insight - which, at the end of the day - is toxic & from here on out - THE TOXIC SHIT IS DEAD!! On this episode I talk about transparency, clarity & speaking up when you feel confused or conflicted on anything related to you, your mind, your energy, your time, your emotions, etc. Any interpersonal communication you have throughout your life is a relationship & getting clear on our relationships allows us to TAP IN throughout the other areas of our lives. No one is going to protect your peace the way you so its time to speak up.
