Even if ChatGPT never existed, the tech giant NVIDIA would still be winning. The end of Moore's Law—says NVIDIA President, Founder, and CEO Jensen Huang—makes the shift to accelerated computing inevitable, regardless of any talk of an AI “bubble.” Sarah Guo and Elad Gil are joined by Jensen Huang for a wide-ranging discussion on the state of artificial intelligence as we begin 2026. Jensen reflects on the biggest surprises of 2025, including the rapid improvements in reasoning, as well as the profitability of inference tokens. He also talks about why AI will increase productivity without necessarily taking away jobs, and how physical AI and robotics can help to solve labor shortages. Finally, Jensen shares his 2026 outlook, including why he's optimistic about US-China relations, why open source remains essential for keeping the US competitive, and which sectors are due for their “ChatGPT moment.” Sign up for new podcasts every week. CannCon is joined by Ghost for a wide-ranging Badlands Daily that digs into the crumbling illusion of global control and the rapid acceleration of geopolitical events. The discussion centers on Venezuela, the capture of Nicolás Maduro, and what it signals about regime change narratives, sovereign alliances, and the shifting balance of power. They break down U.S. Coast Guard operations, media framing, cartel accusations, and the role of international actors while tying it all back to the broader collapse of centralized narratives. As long-standing predictions begin materializing in days instead of years, this episode connects the dots between energy, sovereignty, propaganda, and the growing awareness that the spell is wearing off.
Today's Headlines: Venezuela's getting even more chaotic as interim leader Delcy Rodríguez cracks down hard on any shows of support for Maduro's ouster — with arrests, detained journalists, and armed gangs patrolling Caracas in the name of “order.” Meanwhile, opposition leader María Corina Machado went on Hannity to shower Trump with praise and offer to “share” her Nobel Peace Prize… which is extra awkward given reports that Trump-world thinks she would've become president if she'd literally handed that prize to him.Trump's also insisting he consulted U.S. oil execs around the operation — the execs say “absolutely not,” and also that Venezuelan oil wouldn't be profitable for a decade — but he's now promising taxpayer-backed reimbursements anyway and claims up to 50 million barrels of sanctioned oil will be turned over, with the revenue controlled by… him. Obviously nothing concerning there. Feeling bold, the White House is floating military-backed options to acquire Greenland for “Arctic security,” because why not escalate imperial cosplay while we're here. On the fifth anniversary of January 6th, the administration launched a new government website rewriting the riot — denying officer deaths and blaming Democrats, Capitol Police, and Mike Pence — while the memorial plaque for officers quietly vanished and the Proud Boys marched again. House Democrats held their own hearing, where “MAGA Granny” Pamela Hemphill rejected her pardon and warned against Trump rewriting history. And in Minnesota, Sen. Amy Klobuchar is seriously weighing a run for governor to replace Tim Walz, though she hasn't decided yet. Is Donald Trump finally “doomed,” or is that a familiar storyline playing on repeat? Michael Smerconish sits down with political analyst Mark Halperin to examine why predictions of Trump's political collapse keep falling short. From foreign policy flashpoints like Greenland, Ukraine, and Venezuela to tariffs, media bias, and what Halperin calls “controlled chaos,” the conversation explores whether Trump's leadership style is reckless—or deliberately disruptive. A sharp, candid discussion about power, perception, and why Trump continues to dominate American politics, for better or worse. Original air date 7 January 2026. In this episode of Badlands Book Club, CannCon and Ashe in America are joined by Colonel Towner for an in-depth discussion centered on Stolen Elections by Ralph Pizzulo. Rather than moving directly into Chapter 5, the group revisits and recaps Chapters 1 through 3, examining the book's central claims, sources, and narrative structure. The conversation focuses heavily on the book's portrayal of CIA involvement, alleged whistleblowers, election manipulation narratives, and claims surrounding Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua, and U.S. foreign policy operations. Colonel Towner provides detailed critiques of factual inaccuracies, missing documentation, and questionable assertions, particularly regarding intelligence agencies, counterterrorism operations, and election systems. The hosts scrutinize the book's reliance on unnamed sources, lack of redactions, and internal contradictions, while contrasting the claims with historical context and firsthand experience. The episode unfolds as a methodical breakdown of credibility, motive, and narrative construction, setting the stage for future chapters and deeper examination in upcoming episodes.

Welcome to Day 2769 of Wisdom-Trek. Thank you for joining me. This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to Wisdom. Day 2769– A Baby at Our Age - Get Serious! Luke 1:5-25 Putnam Church Message – 11/30/2025 Luke's Account of the Good News “A Baby at our Age? Get Serious!” – First Sunday of Advent Last week, we began a year-long study of Luke's Narrative of the Good News in a message titled: “Only the Best -A Gospel of Excellence: Thanksgiving for the Truth.” This week is the first Sunday of Advent as we build anticipation of the coming Messiah. Today's passage is the beginning of a story titled: “A Baby at our Age? Get Serious!” “HOPE IN THE SILENCE — GOD STILL SPEAKS” Our Core verses for this week will be Luke 1:5-25, found on page 1587 of your Pew Bibles. The Birth of John the Baptist Foretold 5 In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. 6 Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord's commands and decrees blamelessly. 7 But they were childless because Elizabeth was not able to conceive, and they were both very old. 8 Once when Zechariah's division was on duty and he was serving as priest before God, 9 he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to go into the temple of the Lord and burn incense. 10 And when the time for the burning of incense came, all the assembled worshipers were praying outside. 11 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. 12 When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear. 13 But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. 14 He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, 15 for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born. 16 He will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. 17 And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” 18 Zechariah asked the angel, “How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years.” 19 The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. 20 And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.” 21 Meanwhile, the people were waiting for Zechariah and wondering why he stayed so long in the temple. 22 When he came out, he could not speak to them. They realized he had seen a vision in the temple, for he kept making signs to them but...

Send us a textRewriting the “New Year, New You” NarrativeNew Year's can be a surprisingly difficult time, especially for women physicians who already carry a heavy load of responsibility, perfectionism, and self-judgment.In this episode, I explore why the familiar “New Year, New You” energy so often leaves us feeling discouraged rather than renewed, and offer a more compassionate, sustainable way to reflect and move forward.Instead of trying to wipe the slate clean or fix what feels broken, I invite you to think about your life as a story told in chapters; with you as the hero.In this episode, we talk about:Why New Year's resolutions often amplify feelings of lack and failureHow “magical thinking” keeps us stuck instead of supportedAn alternative framework to reflect: viewing your life as a novel with chaptersCommon chapters many women physicians move through (training, parenting, burnout, transition, diagnosis, change)What shifts when you see yourself as the hero of your own storyA simple reflective exercise to reframe the past year with more compassionWhy it's okay, and often necessary, to ask for support in the chapter you're inAs Jeff Moore reminds us:“You wouldn't quit a show or a book just because the character hit a low point. Hi everyone! In this episode, I share my thoughts on where I think 2026 is headed for photographers and creatives. I talk about the growing importance of community, the shift toward more human-first work as AI becomes more common, the pull back toward hands-on, process-driven creativity, and why diversifying income can create more freedom. In this episode of The Corner of Story and Game, returning guest Ashley Poprik joins us for a candid, craft-focused conversation about how fanfiction, forums, and community storytelling can become real training grounds for professional narrative work.We talk about how writing inside existing worlds teaches voice, structure, collaboration, and feedback loops, and how those skills translate directly into building story for games.Quick note for context: this conversation was recorded in early December and sat on the shelf a bit due to technical issues. Since we recorded, Destiny 2's latest expansion has released, and Ashley has shared that she was selected for Forbes 30 Under 30, plus she will be giving a GDC talk this year.
THE WALKER ATTEMPT AND DELUSIONS IN NEW ORLEANS Colleague Paul Gregory. The narrative shifts to April 1963, when a shaken Oswald confessed to Marina that he had attempted to assassinate General Edwin Walker. Marina found a note with instructions but did not report him, though she threatened to leave if he tried such violence again. Soon after, Oswald moved to New Orleans to build credentials as a pro-Castro operative, hoping to secure a visa to Cuba and eventually the Soviet Union. Gregory explains that Oswald did not actually want to return to Russia but needed a Soviet visa to enter Cuba. During this period, Oswald became increasingly delusional, inventing aliases and seeking status, though there was no evidence yet of a plan to kill President Kennedy. NUMBER 4
As the fifth anniversary of January 6 approaches, the Left's carefully constructed narrative is starting to crack. On today's episode of "Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words," Hanson explains how branding January 6 an “insurrection” drove impeachment efforts, investigations, and years of specifically framed media coverage. He also examines the arrest and confession of Brian Cole Jr., the alleged January 6 pipe bomber, and why the delayed investigation and lingering questions surrounding his background cast doubt on many of the conclusions Americans were first told to accept. “To sum up everything we've been told about January 6th from the congressional committee to Kamala Harris' description of it, to comparisons with the four-month, $2 billion, 35 dead, 1,500 police officers, prior riots, arson attacks on courthouses, police precincts that was never really mentioned as a comparable crisis in the republic, all of these things, a number of FBI informants, a number of FBI agents, any effort to find the pipe bomber, the treatment of the January—it was all never transparent. We never got the honest story. So, that begs the question, why? Why didn't they just come out and say, "Here's all the information"? And the reason is, they wanted to cement a narrative in everybody's mind that a reckless demonstration that turned into a riot was a pre-planned insurrection by Donald Trump, who ordered it, and therefore, should forfeit his political career, and he should never be allowed to run for office.” (0:00) The January 6th Narrative (1:40) Inconsistencies in the Investigation (2:20) The Mysterious Pipe Bomber (3:49) Media and Political Reactions (5:05) FBI Informants and Undercover Agents (7:02) Summarizing the January 6th Events (8:47) Conclusion

In Episode 53 of The Narrative, Burning Bright and Alpha Warrior continue their discussion of “The Golden Age,” returning for part two with a deeper examination of power, perception, and long-term narrative management. The episode moves through ongoing geopolitical developments, media framing, and public expectations, focusing on how belief, optimism, and patience are tested during periods of transition. Burning Bright and Alpha revisit recent events and reactions, questioning assumptions about timing, accountability, and outcomes while emphasizing the importance of restraint and discipline in both analysis and action. The conversation touches on psychological pressure, information overload, and the danger of premature conclusions, particularly when narratives are still unfolding. Throughout the episode, the hosts stress pattern recognition, historical context, and the need to remain grounded rather than emotionally reactive. The discussion closes with reflections on endurance, perspective, and why the early stages of any “golden age” are often the most uncomfortable and misunderstood.

Recent revelations have significantly undercut former Attorney General Pam Bondi's explanation regarding the so-called “missing minute” from Jeffrey Epstein's jail surveillance footage. The House Oversight Committee has released previously unseen surveillance video capturing the minute—from about 11:58:59 p.m. to midnight on August 10, 2019—that had been absent from earlier DOJ releases. The newly revealed clip, showing guards working near Epstein's cell, undermines Bondi's prior claim that the gap resulted from a routine, nightly system reset—a technical quirk that she stated led to that minute being “missing every night.” The footage instead suggests the gap emerged from how the files were stitched together at the midnight timestamp, not a recurring reset issue, effectively blowing Bondi's narrative out of the waterto contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Epstein document dump blows huge hole in Pam Bondi's 'missing minute' theory as pressure mounts for Trump to disclose the truth - and MAGA rep says case 'a lot bigger than anyone anticipated' | Daily Mail OnlineBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.
FAMILY TRAUMA AND XI JINPING'S EXILE TO THE NORTHWEST Colleague Joseph Torigian. The narrative shifts to the family's trauma, describing a teenage Xi Jinping escaping detention only to be denounced by his starving mother for the family's safety. Torigian discusses Xi Jinping's exile to the "sacred" but impoverished Northwest, which exposed him to peasant realities. Meanwhile, an imprisoned Xi Zhongxun wrote unanswered letters to leadership, pleading for relief and expressing concern over the country's agricultural stability. NUMBER 14
Who actually deserves credit for founding America? Your eighth-grade history class probably didn't give you the whole story. For the first Narrative episode of 2026, Mike and David sit down with author Cynthia Scott to answer this question with insights from her book, Celebrating God, Our Founder, at America’s 250th Birthday. Together, they explore: How early settlers prayed their way to America and governed themselves using biblical principles. Why pastors were once the primary thought leaders in American communities. How the First Great Awakening unified the colonies and laid the groundwork for independence. What national repentance could, and should, look like as we approach America’s semiquincentennial. Americans are once again talking about repentance, prayer, and God’s role in our history. This renewed conversation suggests that our Divine Founder hasn't given up on our nation yet because, as John Adams wrote, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." More About Cynthia Scott Cynthia Scott has led prayer initiatives across Pittsburgh and beyond, including citywide gatherings, prayer for national events, and a daily prayer call for the nation. Passionate about honoring God and praying for revival in America, she has written numerous prayer guides. Celebrating God, Our Founder, at America’s 250th Birthday reflects her conviction that God’s providence shaped the United States and calls believers to honor Him as our true Founder and help to shape our future through prayer. Cynthia resides near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Russell Hackmann sees curveballs lurking in private credit as he examines the market overall. “Thus far, it seems pretty contained,” he says, but compares conditions to 2007. He thinks the AI bubble narrative will “shift several times” this year, and market concentration is making it more difficult for retail investors. He anticipates volatility because of the concentration and high valuations.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Options involve risks and are not suitable for all investors. As the year wraps up, it's tempting to jump straight into planning what's next — without ever stopping to reflect on what just happened. In this episode, we talk about why crafting a clear narrative for your year is one of the most powerful (and overlooked) tools for preventing burnout, building perspective, and entering the next season grounded instead of reactive. We explore:Why high performers default to focusing on what didn't go wellHow negativity bias distorts your view of the yearThe clinical parallel between helping patients make sense of their story — and doing the same for yourselfWhy even experienced CEOs struggle to give themselves creditOur one-sentence narrative for 2025, shaped by becoming a family of four while expanding our impact in pelvic healthHow reflection creates psychological closure and protects against burnoutWe'll walk you through a simple exercise to help you name your own one-sentence narrative for the year — before you start planning the next one.If you're feeling tired, behind, or like the year slipped by too fast, this episode is your invitation to pause, zoom out, and recognize what you've actually built.About UsNicole and Jesse Cozean founded Pelvic PT Rising to provide clinical and business resources to physical therapists to change the way we treat pelvic health. HOMER'S NARRATIVE CHOICES AND ORAL TRADITION Colleague Professor Emily Wilson. Wilsondiscusses the "Homeric Question," noting that oral stories existed for centuries before the alphabet arrived in the 8th century BCE. She highlights the Iliad's sophisticated narrative structure, which omits famous events like the Apple of Discord and the Trojan Horse to focus intensely on a specific period of the war. The conversation compares the Iliad'sfocus on Greek infighting with Virgil's Aeneid, noting the distinct goals of each epic tradition. NUMBER 2 500 AD ALEXANDRIA
We're being blatantly pushed towards manipulated perception and controlled actions. Systemic problems cannot be fixed by a narrowing focus on isolated groups. It's about responsibility, not getting credit. Self focus is the later result of living in the shadows. Enduring the human experience is cathartic. The control release part is hard. Dissonance begins now. Actual audits and documented info didn't work. It took a You Tuber operation to make this an issue. Think controlled exposure. Delayed outrage signals operators. Exposure is managed. Egregious fraud exists in all states. It was well documented in the first Trump term. Why just hold Walz accountable? Infiltrators are everywhere and participants are scattered. Structures survive in a controlled burn. Narrative downgrades fed by a media that hates truth. People are waiting for someone else to fix this. Gov. Bergam saw the audit results and then made them illegal. Covid shows how truth is ignored. Elder care is the next flaming fraud factory. Cuomo killed so many. Nigeria as a crypto and money laundering center. Estonia is where digital keys are broken. Quantum hybrid AI already exists. Sensationalism makes people comfortable. Real action is just the opposite. And timing is everything.
