Relations between China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea currently stand at a new historical starting point, facing new development opportunities and shouldering new missions of the times, Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chinese president, said on Monday.Xi made the remarks in a signed article published in Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the DPRK, ahead of his state visit to the country on Monday and Tuesday, his first in seven years.Xi said that he looks forward to meeting with Kim Jong-un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, to discuss the traditional friendship between the two countries and exchange views on the overall development of bilateral relations.Xi said that China and the DPRK are friendly socialist neighbors who stand by each other and share a common future. No matter how times change or how the international landscape evolves, the traditional friendship between China and the DPRK remains unbreakable and enduring, constantly demonstrating vigorous vitality, Xi said.Noting that top-level strategic guidance is the greatest strength of China-DPRK relations, Xi said that in recent years, he and Kim have held six meetings, maintaining close strategic communication and jointly drawing up a blueprint for the development of China-DPRK relations.Xi also said that a shared socialist ideal is a defining feature of China-DPRK relations, and that the traditional friendship between the two countries, rooted in a shared future, forms the solid foundation of bilateral ties."High-level strategic coordination gives China-DPRK relations their contemporary significance," Xi said. "Promoting long-term peace and stability in the region, as well as world peace and stability, is a common pursuit of the two parties, the two countries and their peoples."The two sides firmly support each other in safeguarding national sovereignty, security and development interests, and work together to uphold regional peace and tranquility, international fairness and justice, and the postwar international order, Xi said.Noting that maintaining, consolidating and developing China-DPRK relations has always been an unwavering policy of the CPC and the Chinese government, Xi said that China stands ready to work with the DPRK to steer bilateral relations from a strategic perspective, keep China-DPRK relations abreast of the times and achieve greater development of the relationship. The two sides should deepen strategic communication and firmly steer China-DPRK relations in the right direction, Xi said, calling for upholding the fine tradition of high-level exchanges between the two parties and the two countries, and maintaining close contacts like relatives. The two sides should take the 65th anniversary of the China-DPRK Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance as an opportunity, strengthen exchanges at all levels and across party, government and military institutions, implement the important consensus reached by the two sides, and add fresh impetus to the development of bilateral relations.Xi said the two countries should strengthen communication and mutual learning to jointly promote the steady development of the two countries' socialist cause.China and the DPRK should support each other in pursuing socialist paths suited to their own national conditions, firmly safeguard the political security of both nations, continue to expand exchanges and cooperation between the two parties, and deepen exchanges of experience and mutual learning on party and state governance, Xi said. The two countries should expand practical cooperation and continuously enhance the well-being and friendship of the two peoples, Xi said, adding that the two sides should enhance the alignment of development strategies, tap the potential for cooperation in various fields, share opportunities and promote development together, in order to better benefit the two peoples.Xi also called for close multilateral coordination and firmly safeguarding international fairness and justice. The two sides should strengthen strategic communication and coordination, and jointly uphold the international system with the United Nations at its core and the international order based on international law, Xi said, adding that the two sides should oppose hegemonism and power politics, and reject any scheme or action aimed at reviving militarism and undermining regional security and stability. The two countries should jointly promote an equal and orderly multipolarization of the world and a universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization, implement the four major global initiatives put forward by China, and work together to build a community with a shared future for humanity, he added.sovereignty /ˈsɒvrənti/主权tranquility /træŋˈkwɪləti/安宁unwavering /ʌnˈweɪvərɪŋ/坚定不移的alignment /əˈlaɪnmənt/对接hegemonism /hɪˈdʒemənɪzəm/霸权主义multipolarization /ˌmʌltiˌpəʊləraɪˈzeɪʃən/多极化inclusive /ɪnˈkluːsɪv/包容的initiative /ɪˈnɪʃətɪv/倡议community with a shared future for humanity /kəˈmjuːnəti wɪð ə ʃeəd ˈfjuːtʃə fə hjuːˈmænəti/人类命运共同体

Hello to you listening in Karachi, Pakistan! Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday and your host, Diane Wyzga. Maybe like me you've failed more times than you can count. Is it possible to use our failures to encourage a new opportunity, a do-over even? Yes. How do I know? I've learned from the best! Wile E. Coyote is the quintessentially resilient cartoon character who pursues Road Runner with disastrous gadgets purchased from a fictional mail-order company called ACME. Giant magnets, rocket-powered roller skates, earthquake pills, invisible paint, and movable tunnel entrances always backfire. Coyote never ever catches the Road Runner, but does that stop him? No! Do we want Coyote to catch Road Runner? No! We want to see what Coyote will do next. Failure stops creativity when we or someone else says "Give up!" But! When we refuse to give up failure encourages creativity because that's the job of failure. Never underestimate the power of your persistent efforts to begin anew. Life expects do-overs! You're always welcome: "Come for the stories - Stay for the magic!" Speaking of magic, I hope you'll subscribe, share a 5-star rating and nice review on your social media or podcast channel of choice, bring your friends and rellies, and join us! Most investors panic when policy shifts hit, but experienced buyers know that uncertainty is where the best deals surface, not disappear. Here is how to find the next opportunity. On The Smart Property Investment Show, host Liam Garman is joined by Ross Le Quesne from KHI Partners and Alex Whitlock from Managed to break down how the latest federal budget is reshaping investor strategy, and why smart money is still moving. Le Quesne delved into the real impact of negative gearing and capital gains tax changes, arguing that while headlines sparked fear, the core fundamentals of property investment remain unchanged. He explains that supply shortages, rising construction costs, and long-term demand pressures continue to underpin the market, regardless of short-term policy noise. Whitlock shares a live deal story from Sydney's Wollstonecraft, showing how urgency around the budget helped secure a property while other buyers hesitated. The trio highlight that in uncertain markets, speed, preparation and the right professionals matter more than ever, and hesitation is often the real cost. They urge investors to see the positive: policy changes may shift strategy, but they don't stop opportunity – they often create it. In this episode, Karl Bryan and Rode Dog dive deep into how AI is transforming business and coaching, what it really means for job security, the art of structuring irresistible offers, and why changing your environment might be the ultimate life hack. With their usual candid banter, they break down high-level strategies—from AI optimism and creative sales terms to the personal value of being okay with rejection. Key Topics Covered The Future of AI and Employment Karl Bryan and Rode Dog debate if AI will steal jobs or create more opportunity, drawing parallels with previous tech revolutions like the internet and the tractor. Historical lens: AI's current economic "instruments" indicate growth and the doubling of new businesses, not disruption. The real trick? Use AI as "gasoline" to turbocharge your business, not as the vehicle itself. Structuring Irresistible Offers & Terms How creative offer structuring—like free trials, installment payments, third-party financing, and delayed commitments—outperforms just negotiating on price. Karl Bryan shares real-life examples from selling his car to structuring coaching programs, highlighting how adjusting terms can close more deals with less friction and more satisfaction. Delayed gratification and being okay with "no" are ultimate business "superpowers." Business and Life Hacks The critical hack: Be comfortable hearing "no"—it's a precondition for major financial success. The underrated power of changing your environment, whether it's moving, joining new groups, or varying your routines—impacting both mental health and business growth. Zen and the Art of Business Coaching Why happiness is fleeting and peace/contentment should be the target. Powerful reframing: "No is a decision, yes is a responsibility." Notable Quotes "AI is gasoline. It's not the car. It's turbo. It's not the accelerator." – Karl Bryan "Be okay with no. Introduce me to a person who's made a ton of money and I'll introduce you to someone that's heard 'no' 2,000 times and counting." – Karl Bryan "Change of environment is a hack on steroids. You can always turn around and come back—but even a small change can be wildly impactful." – Karl Bryan "Happiness is that feeling you get right before you need more happiness." (Don Draper, quoted by Karl Bryan) Actionable Takeaways Leverage AI, Don't Fear It: See AI as an accelerator—use it to enhance what you're already doing instead of worrying about being replaced. Structure Creative Offers: Experiment with free trials, installment plans, reservation options, and third-party financing to make your programs irresistible and reduce buyer resistance. Get Comfortable with Rejection: Make peace with "no"—the most successful people have embraced it, and it's almost always a sign you're pushing boundaries and growing. Change Your Environment: Both big moves and small changes (joining a new club, going to a new event, changing your routine) can have a powerful impact on creativity, mental health, and opportunity. Focus on Peace, Not Just Happiness: Understand that lasting success comes from contentment and peace, not chasing fleeting moments of happiness. Set your goals accordingly. Send us Fan MailMedicare is quietly rolling out something dementia families have begged for: ongoing support that doesn't end when the appointment does. We sit down with Nancy Gillette, Chief Growth Officer at PocketRN, to explain the CMS GUIDE Model (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) in plain English, including what it pays for, how it's delivered virtually by experienced RNs, and why it's a true shift in dementia care, caregiver support, and aging in place. We dig into eligibility and exclusions with the details that trip people up in real life: traditional Medicare Part A and B plus a dementia diagnosis is the baseline, all dementias qualify, and many people can still participate while receiving Medicaid services, veteran benefits, palliative care, or living in assisted living or memory care. We also cover the common deal-breakers like Medicare Advantage, hospice, PACE, and long-term nursing home residency, plus what paperwork typically works to prove the diagnosis. Then we get into what GUIDE actually delivers across nine care domains, from comprehensive assessment and care planning to caregiver training, medication reconciliation, referral coordination, and ongoing monitoring designed to catch changes before they turn into an ER visit. Finally, we clarify the respite benefit everyone asks about: 72 hours per year for moderate to severe complexity, used in four-hour increments, on a July 1 to June 30 “use it or lose it” cycle, and how home care partners can get paid for required in-person safety visits and respite coverage. If you support dementia clients or family caregivers, listen through to the Q&A and the real case stories about doors opening with discharge planners and senior living communities. Subscribe, share this with a colleague, and leave a review so more families can actually find these Medicare dementia care resources.Continuum Mastery Circle IntroVisit our website at https://asnhomecaremarketing.comGet Your 11 Free Home Care Marketing Guides: https://bit.ly/homecarerev

It's the Ranch It Up Radio Show Herd It Here Weekly Report! A 3-minute look at cattle markets, reports, news info, or anything that has to do with those of us who live at the end of dirt roads. Join Jeff 'Tigger' Erhardt, the Boss Lady Rebecca Wanner aka 'BEC' by subscribing on your favorite podcasting app or on the Ranch It Up Radio Show YouTube Channel. Online Tool For Helping Fire Affected Producers In Nebraska Kent Bacus of The National Cattlemen's Beef Association shares why cattle producers are encouraged by USDA's renewed push behind the voluntary Product of the USA label. For years, U.S. cattle producers have pushed to fix what they saw as a misleading labeling loophole—and now, that change is here. Kent Bacus says the updated USDA rule finally tightens the standards behind the “Product of USA” label. He explains the concern was simple: imported beef could still carry that label, creating confusion for consumers and an uneven playing field for American producers. Now, that loophole is closed. Under the updated rule, any product using the “Product of USA” label must come from animals that were born, raised, harvested, and processed right here in the United States. Bacus says that opens the door for real differentiation in the marketplace—and gives U.S. producers a clearer way to promote their product. Importantly, this is not a requirement—it's a choice. Companies can opt in to use the label, but only if they can verify and document that the product meets those full U.S.-origin standards. And while this isn't about food safety, Bacus says it is about building trust. He calls it a marketing tool—one that helps connect consumers to where their food comes from and adds integrity to the label. Because today's shoppers aren't just buying beef—they're buying the story behind it. Watch here: https://youtu.be/3pwPiH8TK5cIn episode 252 of the Further Your Lifestyle Podcast, host Chris explores why stepping into the unknown feels scary even when it aligns with our goals, arguing that the brain prefers the predictable for survival and interprets uncertainty as risk and loss of control. He explains that major opportunities—new jobs, relationships, businesses, moves, and creative pursuits—rarely come with guarantees, which is why fear and opportunity often sit side by side. Chris suggests fear doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong, but that it matters and may be important, and encourages listeners to change their relationship with fear by focusing on the next small step, gathering evidence from past wins, expecting discomfort, and trusting adaptability. He closes with reflective questions about what listeners are avoiding, whether fear is about danger or uncertainty, and what opportunities might exist beyond discomfort.00:00 Welcome and premise00:21 Why the unknown scares us01:50 Brain prefers the known03:01 Opportunity lives in risk04:24 Fear as loss of control05:10 Reframing fear signals06:24 How to navigate uncertainty08:01 Three questions to ask08:42 Personal warehouse lesson09:19 Final mindset and wrapPodcast Sponsors:Robert PiperHi Voltage BargainsEthan “Rooshock” The BOLO Hunter PODCAST: https://www.furtheryourlifestyle.com/► SUBSCRIBE to the podcast on▹ Spotify | https://bit.ly/FYL_Spotify▹ Apple Podcast | https://bit.ly/FYL_Apple▹ Google Podcast | https://bit.ly/FYL_GooglePod► Let's CONNECT on social media:▹ instagram | http://www.instagram.com/furtheryourlifestyle▹ email | hello@furtheryourlifestyle.comMUSIC:» via https://www.epidemicsound.com/referral/6hfvrvContinue the conversation: @furtheryourlifestyleJoin the Newsletter: check it out

Standing at the edge of a new opportunity can stir up a mix of excitement and anxiety. Whether it’s a new job, a ministry role, a move, or a fresh calling, stepping into the unknown requires faith. Even when we recognize an opportunity as a blessing from God, fear of failure or uncertainty can hold us back. Joshua 1:9 speaks directly into those moments: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Courage doesn’t mean the absence of fear. It means moving forward despite fear because you trust who walks with you. God does not command courage without promising His presence. He does not send you into new territory alone. The same God who opened the door is the God who will guide you through it. Your talents, experiences, and strengths are not accidents—they are gifts He has already placed within you for such a time as this. Fear whispers, What if you fail? Discouragement adds, What if you’re not enough? But God answers both with His promise: I am with you. When obstacles arise—and they will—you can view them not as signs to retreat, but as opportunities to rely more deeply on God’s faithfulness. His presence brings guidance when you lack clarity, peace when you feel overwhelmed, and strength when your confidence wavers. Today, you can step forward not because you feel fully prepared, but because God is fully present. Main Takeaways New opportunities often bring both excitement and fear. Courage means acting in faith even when fear is present. God’s command to be strong is rooted in His promise to be with you. Your skills and experiences are gifts God can use in this new season. Obstacles become places to witness God’s faithfulness. Today’s Bible Verse “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9, NIV Your Daily Prayer Prayer excerpt for listeners: “I choose to step forward in faith, trusting that You are with me wherever I go.” Listen to the full prayer here. In this episode of the Sustainability Matters podcast, hosts Bruno Sarda and Anne Munaretto interview Ravi Annapragada, Director of Sustainability and Energy Strategy at Carrier, a global supplier of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) products. Together they discuss 'Joining forces for a sustainable future', a collaboration between Carrier customers, suppliers, and internal teams that aims to accelerate decarbonization and drive meaningful sustainability progress. The initiative, engaging 10 major customers across various sectors at different stages of their sustainability journey, highlights the benefits of moving away from isolated efforts toward partnership and co-creation. The discussion describes the HVAC giant's path to setting ambitious science-based targets, recognizing that most emissions stem from product use and realizing that addressing these challenges requires collaboration rather than a solely transactional relationship. The guests also emphasize the importance of internal alignment, especially with sales teams, and demonstrate that sustainability and business growth can be mutually reinforcing.
Send a textIn this episode of The Remarkable People Podcast, host David Pasqualone interviews author and entrepreneur Sandra Lena Silverman, a co-founder of a large mortgage business and mother of two, about her life story and the lessons she wants listeners to apply—especially learning to love themselves. Sandra shares being adopted as an infant, childhood molestation that later manifested as a severe fear of elevators, and a lifelong pattern of perfectionism and overachieving. She recounts a difficult marriage marked by gaslighting, manipulation, and emotional abuse from a narcissistic husband, including constant body-shaming that contributed to her pursuit of numerous cosmetic procedures and surgeries. Sandra describes how the abuse escalated after pregnancy, the onset of infidelity, multiple separations (including in 2006, 2016, and 2023), and her decision to end the cycle with a final separation in 2024 and ongoing divorce proceedings. She explains how prolonged stress affected her health—high cortisol, inflammation, shaking—and how those symptoms improved after leaving. Sandra discusses warning signs such as love bombing, excuses, and blame-shifting, emphasizes the need for strong boundaries, and updates listeners on her current work: her book deal for three books (including the republished From Bullshit to Botox and a forthcoming second book focused on her marriage and narcissism), her show Parties Over, and her social media presence where people can connect with her.01:50 What You'll Learn Today: Loving Yourself02:56 Adopted in Maryland: Family, Identity, and Early Questions04:58 Childhood Trauma Revealed: Molestation, Memory, and Finding Her Birth Mother06:21 The Trauma Shows Up Later: Claustrophobia & Fear of Elevators08:18 Perfectionism and Overachieving to Earn Love09:37 Meeting Her Ex: The First Body-Shaming Comment10:49 Building a Business + The First Surgery (and the Put-Downs Continue)14:04 Pregnancy, Cruelty, and the Moment She Saw the “Monster”16:13 Affairs, Separations, and the Crossroads She Didn't Leave19:05 Hard-Won Warning: Without Boundaries, It Only Gets Worse20:11 Breaking the Cycle: Final Separation & Choosing Yourself22:13 Healing After Abuse: Epiphanies, Boundaries, and Health Recovery25:02 Kids, Co-Parenting, and Protecting Them from Dysfunction26:21 Red Flags of Narcissism: Love Bombing, Gaslighting, and Blame-Shifting29:40 Life After Leaving: Books, Podcast, New Opportunities, and Independence32:50 Beauty vs. Self-Worth: Elective Surgery, Internal Work, and Doing It for You35:00 Faith, Divorce, and Where to Find Sandra + Final Wrap-Up37:25 Podcast Closing Message: Feedback, Sharing, and Living the MissionREMARKABLE SPECIAL OFFER: Save Big on Your Console Vault In-Vehicle Safe.
