You can't outgrow puberty—but maybe we can outlearn how we teach it. This week, Jer and Tay explore a topic often overlooked: puberty education for youth with disabilities. Social worker and doctoral student Jennalyn Suda breaks down how trauma-informed frameworks can radically reshape how we approach this formative stage, especially for students who face additional barriers. From the sensory challenges of menstruation to the cultural and cognitive complexities that shape understanding, Jennalyn sheds light on the gaps in traditional education. The boys dive into awkward memories, laugh about the lessons they never learned, and highlight how shifting the conversation from shame to empowerment might just be the change we need.Follow Sickboy: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sickboypodcastTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@sickboypodcastDiscord: https://discord.gg/expeUDN

In this week's episode, the Lautners are joined by actress Brianne Howey! Brianne opens up about where her passion for acting began, her time studying at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and the shared connection she and Taylor have from appearing on Scream Queens. She shares how becoming a mom has transformed her approach to mental health and self-care, especially while juggling a demanding filming schedule far from home. Brianne reflects on losing her own mother to cancer at 21, how that loss shaped her, and what it's been like to now raise a child herself. She also talks about her therapy journey, the moment she knew she'd found the right therapist, and the advice she'd give to new or future parents. In this week's episode, Tay is back for another girl-talk conversation, this time with Netflix's Cheer star Morgan Simianer! Morgan kicks things off by sharing how she met her husband, their engagement story, what she's loving most about married life, and her favorite moment from their wedding day. In this episode, Dr. Tay is joined by guest Amanda Moses, a neurodivergent psychologist from Australia, who specializes in autism identification in those with complex and highly masked presentations. They discuss the differences in how autism presents in females versus males, the concept of masking, and the unique social challenges that often lead to delayed diagnoses. In this week's episode, the Lautners are joined by Chad Franke for a conversation about growing up on YouTube as part of the massively followed family channel 8 Passengers, created by his mom, Ruby Franke. Chad opens up about the early days of vlogging, when the channel began to take off, and what it was like having his childhood shared with millions. He reflects on how personal struggles were often turned into content, and how the shift from casually being on camera to having moments staged for engagement began to affect him. Chad talks about the #FreeChad movement, sparked by concerns over his living situation, and what it was like watching the Hulu docuseries Devil in the Family for the first time. He also shares about the last time he spoke to his mom, the letters she's sent, his relationship with religion and God, and the gradual realization that what was happening wasn't okay. Chad discusses his close bond with his siblings and dad, his current relationship with social media, and why he's committed to keeping his future children offline. He also emphasizes the need for stricter regulations around monetizing minors and gives a look at what's next for him.Be sure to follow Chad https://www.instagram.com/chadwfranke/!To email us your questions or share your story, you can reach out to lautner.thesqueezepodcast@gmail.comBe sure to rate, review, and follow the podcast so you don't miss an episode! It was an absolute pleasure to have Tim Dornseif join us in the studio! This moment feels especially meaningful, almost full circle, as just a year ago, Tim listened to a testimony on this very podcast that radically changed his life. You'll have to tune in to hear how God used that story to begin a powerful transformation in his heart. Tim shares his journey with honesty and vulnerability. Raised in Indiana, his family occasionally attended a Lutheran church. He grew up with his mom and stepdad, not meeting his biological father until he was 25. The absence of a strong, present father figure left a deep wound, one that would later surface in painful and self-destructive ways. In his late teens, Tim had a sweet “meet-cute” with his now wife, Tay, while they were both working at Kroger—he in the meat department, she in the bakery. Though painfully shy, a coworker helped make the introduction, and sparks quickly flew. Not long after, they were married, expecting their first son, and relocating to Arizona. Tim began nursing school, and though life was moving forward, the mounting pressure brought old struggles back to the surface. One of those struggles was with pornography, a battle that lingered for years. Though Tim made efforts to be open with Tay and others, he often felt trapped and burdened by secrecy, convinced he couldn't be fully known or accepted. After experiencing deep hurt at a church they had attended for six years, Tim and Tay found themselves at Desert Springs. There, Tim met Bradley Chaddick (his story is linked below) during a VBS event, and that connection became a turning point. For the first time, faith felt real. He no longer felt imprisoned by his sin but instead empowered to take steps toward healing. Through this new season, Tim encountered the Father's love and grace in a way he never had before. Today, he walks in true community with God, with his wife, and with other men, experiencing a freedom and restoration that only Christ can bring.Bradley Chaddick's testimony, Episode 120Kyle Moore's testimony, Episode 123Tuesday night Men's Connect Group at Desert SpringsFathered by God by John Eldredge"Holy Heat" with Seth Tramp + Tim DornseifIf you find yourself struggling with a sexual addiction you are not alone. In the latest episode of Intellectual But Ignant, Mako and Boogie sit down with an urban Atlanta hoop legend—Coach Tay Uno. He's the head basketball coach at Snellville Middle, assistant boys' coach at South Gwinnett High, and one of the directors of the nationally ranked AAU program, the Decatur Blazers. Joining him were his son, Kei-Sean Roberts—widely regarded as the No. 1 point guard in the class of 2030—and Treu Taylor, one of the purest shooters in Georgia from the class of 2029.This episode dives into a bit of everything for true basketball heads. Coach Tay shares his story, growing up in Atlanta's 4th Ward Boulevard and hooping alongside his longtime friend, NBA vet Lou Williams. He opens up about the bond he has with his son Kei-Sean, how kids sometimes overlook their parents' legacy, and how that dynamic plays out on and off the court. We also discuss how Coach Tay and his best friend, Coach Just—Treu's father and a co-founder of the Decatur Blazers—built one of the top grassroots programs in the country from the ground up. Tay speaks on the strong village of support behind the Blazers and how overwhelming, yet appreciated, that love truly is. The conversation covers who Kei-Sean and Treu model their games after, their favorite NBA players, and what it's like for Kei-Sean to constantly play up in age groups—and how that pressure sharpens his skills. We talk about the grind today's youth hoopers are on, how taking a break can set you back, and Coach Tay even gives his take on the NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) movement. Most importantly, we shine a light on what Tay and Just are building—a special, game-changing movement that even Jet Academy has partnered with. The buzz is real: people are starting to recognize that the Decatur Blazers may be home to the nation's top talent and could become the No. 1 youth program for the classes of 2029 through 2036 and beyond. This episode is packed with real basketball insight, the inspiring journey of two best friends creating something impactful, the example of fathers pouring into their sons, life gems—and of course, a little bit of that classic intellectual but ignant touch. In this week's episode, Tay is back for another girl talk episode with actress and comedian Christina Kirkman! Christina begins by talking about competing in the “R U All That?: Nickelodeon's Search for the Funniest Kid in America” competition and winning the highly coveted spot as a regular cast member on All That at just 10 years old. She shares the reality of stepping into Hollywood so young, why she ended up leaving Nickelodeon, and the identity crisis that followed as she struggled to detach from the “All That girl” label. Christina opens up about how bullying and burnout led her to pivot toward broadcast journalism in college, but after an internship at Comedy Central, she found her way back to acting. She also talks about learning that she needs alone time to process and recharge, her experience balancing social media and the anxiety that can come with it, her habit of using comedy as a mask, and how her new podcast is helping her reconnect with herself in a more honest way.Be sure to follow Christina https://www.instagram.com/christinakirkman/!Check out Christina's podcast “Life's A Joke”: https://swap.fm/l/lifesajokeTo email us your questions or share your story, you can reach out to lautner.thesqueezepodcast@gmail.comBe sure to rate, review, and follow the podcast so you don't miss an episode! In this week's episode, the Lautners are joined by Nichole Schmidt—mother of Gabby Petito—for a brave and honest conversation about the murder of her daughter. Nichole begins by sharing Gabby's vibrant personality and the moment she knew something was wrong when Brian returned home without her. She discusses filing the missing persons report, the overwhelming reach of Gabby's story, and the heartbreaking confirmation of her daughter's death. Nichole reflects on how her grief has evolved over the past three and a half years, the hardest parts of coping, and how her other children are navigating their own grief. She talks about the challenges of mourning publicly, the painful “what ifs,” and what to say—or not say—to someone who is grieving. We then dive into the Netflix documentary American Murder: Gabby Petito, the failures of law enforcement, and Nichole's last interaction with Brian's family. Nichole also shares the mission of the Gabby Petito Foundation, why domestic violence is a systemic issue, and how we can all be better bystanders. She closes with advice for parents and those worried about loved ones in abusive relationships—and what she hopes the world will remember most about Gabby.*Nichole is sharing her personal opinions and experiences, and the views expressed are not statements of fact.Be sure to follow Nichole https://www.instagram.com/niki_schmidt_/!Learn more about the Gabby Petito Foundation: https://gabbypetitofoundation.orgIf you or someone you know if a victim of domestic and/or sexual violence, please visit: https://rainn.org/To email us your questions or share your story, you can reach out to lautner.thesqueezepodcast@gmail.comBe sure to rate, review, and follow the podcast so you don't miss an episode!
