Every other week CM, Jesia and Vellu played an "elite", obscure or classic game which they dissected, analyzed and ultimately decided if they would replay it or K.O. it instead. This Podcast is sadly over. RIP in peace!
The guys talk about the game Freespace which was a flight sim for PC's. If you do care about the podcast and which to keep listening then check out this Youtube Channel where future episodes will be uploaded. https://www.youtube.com/user/SammichEntertainment
CM and Vellu take on the job of a Witcher and find out that while the surroundings might look pretty the overall mood of the people is pretty bleak. Join us in this brotastic episode as we talk about banging wenches and taking down Assassins.
Space. Such a cold and lonely place. How does one make it more fun? Oh just toss in a couple of clones and solve some puzzles and stuff. This week the crew play "The Swapper" a spacey puzzle game which is all about Space, Clones, Rocks, Technology and tons of head scratching. Join us as we try to figure out just what The Swapper is actually swapping.
It's just Vellu and CM today and they are talking about a game called resonance which is all about memories, corporations and stuff....I think.
On this hot summer day the crew finds themselves in a weird cabin with their lovely wives/husband who only wish the best for them and hope that this calm little area, called Bright Falls, can inspire their loved ones to write their next novel, but they lose their shit and craziness ensues. Yes you guessed it right this weeks episode is all about Alan Wake, by Remedy Entertainment.
The crew find themselves in a 1912 floating imagination of Columbia where you can use special powers via drinking some Vigor and replenish health by eating out of trashcans and such. If you haven't guessed it yet then let me tell you that the game we are talking about today is Bioshock Infinite (kinda like the title says) Want to help us grow, become better and think more people should listen to us? Then submit a iTunes review, hell even just sending and email about the podcast to chaoticmeltdownproductions@gmail.com will brighten up our day.
The crew signed up for the police force, became a cop, married, each one had a kid and lived happily ever after UNTIL THEIR FAMILY IS BRUTALLY MURDERED BY TWEAKERS!!! So they go out on the streets trying to find out who is behind all this. Actually they just played Max Payne, the best noir video game on the market or is it? Find out in this exciting episode of That One Video Game Book Club! And remember, send in your thoughts about the show and the game we are playing next at ChaoticMeltdownProductions@gmail.com
This week the crew plays 2 games suggested by our listeners smoke108 and 2200. First they dive into a magical pixel realm called Sword & Sworcery where they have to fight a bear with breasts and also click tress. Shortly thereafter they try to find Stories in Caves and they come out with a Cave Story....god that was terrible, I'm sorry. Just listen in and enjoy!
It's another two man show as Vellu and CM sit down and talk about the Shadow Warrior games. They'll compare the original to the remake, kinda, and do fantastic Duke Nukem voices while they are at it. This might possibly be the best episode yet...or it could just be the worst ever, whatever we don't even know.
Jesia and CM host the show alone because Vellu has a life outside of the internet. While he is away the two played Brütal Legend, a game so full of fiery hot metal that your face can get melted off, OH YEAH!
The crew was tossed into the crazy world of Don't Starve and tried to...well not Starve. Did they manage to do just that or were they dead within minutes? In this episode the crew gets their memories removed and walk around in a rain drenched city called Barracus as they play WadjetEye's Gemini Rue an adventure game that will make you think boxes are dumb and make you wish you'd be using the gunplay mechanics from Arma 2.
