As closing arguments wind down in Utah, the deep state's desperate plot to frame a lone-wolf scapegoat for Charlie Kirk's assassination is falling apart at the seams. Armed with boots-on-the-ground reporting from citizen journalists and relentless exposure of regime shills, we break through the propaganda machine to deliver the unfiltered truth to the American people. Ana Escobar joins Stew to detail a shadowy web of Hebrew Google searches that allegedly tracked political figures and false-flag operatives right as covert Egyptian military flights touched down across America and unpack new forensic updates surrounding the explosive destruction of a DoD-contracted munitions plant and reveal suspicious flight patterns linking private jets to an alleged off-the-grid weapons trafficking network. The whole left-right paradigm is nothing more than a carefully crafted show designed to keep everyday Americans distracted while the real ruling class pulls the levers of power. Stew sits down with Dr. Michael Rectenwald to expose the false political choices, dissect the ongoing psyops, and lay out what it actually takes to fight back for true American sovereignty. The fake medical establishment relies on toxic GLP-1 injections and poison "food" to keep Americans sick, broken, and dependent on big pharma. Energized Health founder John Jubilee joins Stew to expose how targeting root cellular hydration naturally shreds fat, rebuilds muscle, and reverses chronic illness without gym gimmicks or big box slop. In three days, the earth opens up and swallows a household whole, fire consumes 250 men, and a plague takes 14,700 more — and then the very next chapter expects us to be impressed by a dead stick growing flowers. This week we're going chapter and verse with Numbers 16, where a rebellion that names four ringleaders forgets one of them entirely by verse two, can't keep straight which of the rest are actually standing there, and somehow leaves the sons of Korah alive to write a whole run of Psalms. Then we're taking issue with Christian nationalist Joel Webbin, who says the church's job is to look a childless 65-year-old woman in the eye and tell her "you starve, glory be to God" — which runs headlong into the Good Samaritan, the prophetic critique, and the entire point of the thing he claims to believe. I've been reading a book that wrecked me in the best way — The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz — and I could not stop seeing recovery on every single page. So we're kicking off a brand-new series: the Four Agreements, through the lens of eating disorder recovery. These four simple promises you make with yourself have the power to break the stories and the self-betrayal that keep you stuck — which is exactly why they're so pivotal to becoming free. We're starting with the first, and the one I believe everything else stands on: be impeccable with your word. Because sis, that voice in your head has been holding the pen for far too long — and today, we start taking it back. What "impeccable" really means Most of us hear "be impeccable with your word" and think don't lie, keep your promises to others. But it goes so much deeper. Impeccable traces back to a root meaning "without sin" — without self-betrayal. So being impeccable with your word means your words stand in full integrity with your truth. It means you don't use your words against yourself — not the ones you say out loud, and especially not the ones you say silently, in your own mind. And if you have an eating disorder, hear this: your words haven't been impeccable — not because you're bad, but because the disorder has been writing them for you. Your word has been hijacked The word is the most powerful tool you have. It can create, and it can destroy — and the eating disorder knows it. Think about what you say to yourself in a single day: I'm disgusting. I shouldn't have eaten that. I'll start over Monday. I have no self-control. I don't deserve to rest. That's not you being impeccable with your word. That's you using your most powerful tool as a weapon against your own body and soul. Every time you speak those words — even silently — you're agreeing with the lie, signing a contract that says this is true, this is who I am. The eating disorder voice survives on your word. It cannot keep its grip if you stop agreeing with it. Standing in your truth, no matter what Being impeccable with your word in recovery means you stand in your truth, no matter what the voice says. The voice will come — you don't need to eat, you've had enough, earn it first. Being impeccable means you don't repeat it, don't co-sign it. You catch the word and correct it back to truth: Voice: "I'm disgusting." → Truth: "My body is healing, and I am worthy right now." Voice: "I'll start over Monday." → Truth: "I honor my body today." You are not obligated to believe every thought that passes through your mind. You get to decide which words you agree with — and every time you refuse the lie and choose truth, you weaken the disorder and strengthen her, the recovered you. The words you speak over others boomerang back There's a sneaky layer here: being impeccable also means how you speak about other people's bodies and lives. When you comment on another woman's body — even a compliment, even "she looks so good, she must've lost weight" — you reinforce the very belief system keeping you sick. You're agreeing, out loud, that bodies are for ranking and thinner is better. And that word boomerangs right back onto you. A woman who is free doesn't trade in the currency that keeps everyone imprisoned. This is a faith thing, too This agreement is all over Scripture. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. The word spoke the whole world into being. Your words aren't neutral, sis — they're creative. They're building something every day: either a prison, or a path to freedom. So what are you speaking over yourself? Over your body? Over your recovery? Are your words building the life you say you want — where there's so much more than this, where this cannot be it — or quietly agreeing with the thing keeping you stuck? Why this is the foundation You can't rebuild trust with your body or step into your true identity while your word is betraying you every day. Being impeccable with your word is the daily, moment-to-moment practice of refusing to speak the disorder's language. And I promise you — it is only a matter of time. If you stand in your truth no matter what, catching your word and correcting it back to what's real, again and again? The voice cannot survive in a mind that stops agreeing with it. A few lines from the episode "That voice in your head has been holding the pen for far too long. Today, we take it back." "You're using the most powerful tool you have as a weapon against your own body and soul." "The eating disorder voice survives on your word. It can't keep its grip if you stop agreeing with it." "You are not obligated to believe every thought that passes through your mind." "A woman who is free doesn't trade in the currency that keeps everyone imprisoned." "Death and life are in the power of the tongue — your words are building a prison or a path." Your work this week Catch your word. Every time you notice yourself speaking something cruel — out loud or in your head, about yourself or anyone else — pause. Name it: "That's not my truth. That's the disorder's word." Then speak the true thing instead — even if you don't believe it yet. Especially if you don't believe it yet. The belief follows the word. Coming up in the series This is Part 1 of the Four Agreements in Recovery. Be sure you're following the show so you don't miss the next agreement — because each one builds on this foundation, and together they've been pivotal in my own recovery and in the work I do with clients. You don't have to do this alone If you want support learning to speak truth over your recovery — someone in your corner catching the lies with you and calling you back to who you really are — that's the heart of what I do in one-on-one coaching and the Recovery Collective.

You grab your phone to escape for two minutes and lose an hour. What is all that scrolling quietly doing to you?The average adult spends more than four hours a day on a screen, and most of us reach for our phone the second we want to escape, feel better, or fill a spare minute. This opening message in the Starve the Algorithm series asks a bigger question than screen time: what are the algorithms doing to the realest part of you, the person you are slowly becoming? Drawing on a line from the wisest king who ever lived and aletter written to a small, distracted community two thousand years ago, it explores a simple but unsettling idea: what you focus on ends up forming you. What you'll walk away with:● A clearer picture of what your daily screen ritual is actually costing you, beyond just the hours● Why you are probably more distracted than rebellious, and why that is worth paying attention to● How the content in your feed quietly shapes what you believe about yourself, your relationships, and your worth● Three honest questions to ask yourself this week about when, why, and what you watch● A more hopeful way to change your habits that does not rely on willpower tricks that never seemto lastSpeaker: Chris Podlich | Beyond Church, Griffin.
The internet is buzzing right now about Ariana Grande — her stepping back from public life, and her message asking people to stop commenting on her body. And underneath this whole conversation is something every one of us needs to hear, because it goes straight to the heart of recovery. Today, with a whole lot of grace, we're talking about the word "healthy" — and how it can become one of the most slippery slopes in all of recovery. I'm not here to speculate about anyone's private health (that's actually part of my point). I'm here to name the lie our culture keeps selling us: that thinner automatically means healthier. Sis, it doesn't — and the science agrees with me. The part she got so right For years, Ariana has asked people to stop commenting on her body, recently re-sharing that message as a "loving reminder." And she's right. There's a comfortability in our culture with narrating other people's bodies, faces, and weight — and it's dangerous for everyone. We have to stop this. Stop the "did she lose weight," stop the "is she okay, she looks so thin." You never know who's in recovery. You never know whose daughter is listening. You never know what your words land on top of. Where the fire got lit in me Somewhere in this conversation came the idea that an older, fuller version of a body wasn't "the healthy one." That may be completely true for any given person — only they and their care team could know. But that exact sentence — "my old body wasn't the healthy one" — is a sentence I told myself. It's one I've heard from a hundred women in this community. And it's one of the most slippery sentences in recovery, because the eating disorder is a master at wearing the costume of wellness. It doesn't say "let's be destructive." It says "let's just be healthy, let's just be clean, let's just be disciplined." When "healthy" is actually the disorder talking Let me be clear, because I lived it: Eating very little and calling it clean Only eating foods with five ingredients or less and calling it healthy Cutting whole food groups and calling it a lifestyle Being so consumed by "wellness" that you can't sit at the family table, can't travel without a plan, can't be spontaneous, can't live That is not health. That's a disorder in a wellness costume. And the hardest part? When you're in it, you believe your own lie. For a long time I fully believed I was just "making healthy choices." It felt like virtue. It felt like discipline. That's what makes the distortion so dangerous — from the inside, it feels like truth. The lie our culture keeps selling We're in a moment where thinness is loudly celebrated again — and our teens, our tweens, the young women who idolize who they follow are absorbing the message that thinner automatically equals healthier and better. The science says otherwise. In the large studies on weight and mortality, being underweight carries a significantly elevated risk of death — roughly one and a half times higher in many studies, and several times higher in some populations. Meanwhile, the category our culture panics about — "overweight" (a BMI of 25–30, without obesity) — is consistently not linked to higher mortality, and in a number of large studies is associated with slightly lower risk than "normal" weight. Let that land. The body our culture tells you to fear is often not the dangerous one. The body our culture applauds can be hiding real danger. Thin is not a synonym for healthy. It never was. We also don't get to pretend we see nothing Here's the nuance, held with honesty: "stop commenting on bodies" is true — and love sometimes notices. When people express genuine concern for someone they can see is struggling, that isn't always cruelty. Sometimes it's the same instinct that makes a mother knock on a door. The problem isn't caring — it's consuming: the speculation, the spectacle, strangers turning a real person into content. So here's the line: we don't get to narrate, diagnose, or gossip about anyone's body. But those of us who love someone up close, in the flesh? We can gently, privately say "I love you, and I'm here." That's not commenting on a body. That's loving a person. You are not your body If you take one thing from today: your body is the least interesting thing about you. You are your kindness. Your humor. Your faith. The way you love your people. The dreams only you carry. The calling on your one and only life. The fact that our whole culture talks about a brilliant artist's body instead of her art is exactly the sickness we're naming. You were never meant to be scrutinized as a body — you were meant to be known as a soul. A few lines from the episode "The eating disorder is a master at wearing the costume of wellness." "That is not health. That's a disorder in a wellness costume." "When you're in it, you believe your own lie. From the inside, the distortion feels like truth." "Thin is not a synonym for healthy. It never was." "The problem isn't caring — it's consuming." "Your body is the least interesting thing about you." Your invitation this week One: Catch yourself before you comment on any body — anyone's, including your own. Notice it, and choose not to. Starve the habit. Two: Question the word "healthy" every time it shows up in your head this week. Ask honestly: Is this actually health — or the disorder wearing health's clothes? Would this choice let me live my life, or does it shrink it? That one question is a powerful flashlight. Ready to stop doing this alone? Connect with Lindsey:
In today's Morning Manna, Rick Wiles and Doc Burkhart examine Proverbs 26:20–22, where Solomon reveals the hidden fuel behind so many broken relationships: gossip, contention, and careless words. Just as a fire dies when no more wood is added, conflict begins to fade when whispers stop and rumors are no longer passed from person to person. This powerful study exposes the destructive work of the talebearer, the contentious person who continually reignites old disputes, and the lasting wounds caused by words that seem harmless when spoken. Discover how God calls His people to become peacemakers by guarding both their tongues and their ears, refusing to spread strife, and speaking words that heal rather than divide. Is morality a luxury only the privileged can afford? In this episode of In The Real Life Podcast, we sit down with Political Baby to dig into one of Nigeria's most uncomfortable questions. Can the average Nigerian actually afford to be good when survival itself is a daily struggle? We unpack corruption, hustle culture, poverty, and the ethics of getting by in a broken system, asking whether being honest is a privilege reserved for the wealthy while everyone else is forced to bend the rules just to eat. A raw, sociological conversation about morality, class, and survival in Nigeria today.
Here Comes TroubleWhat we hide becomes trouble, but what we confess can become hope.In Joshua 7, Achan buried what should have been surrendered—and what was hidden in his tent eventually came to light. This message explores the danger of concealed sin, the freedom found in confession, and the grace Jesus offers to make us right with God.Freedom Starts Here:• Name it – Be honest about what's hiding in the dark.• Bring it to God – His light exposes, but His grace restores.• Tell the right person – Healing grows in trusted community.• Remove access – Starve what keeps pulling you back.• Make it right – Repentance is more than regret; it's a new direction. What is buried in your tent?
Hope is not a sales strategy. Outbound is what fills the pipeline. In this episode of The Level Up Podcast, Paul Alex breaks down why waiting for inbound leads can starve your business and how to build a ruthless outbound engine that puts you back in control. Let's be real… Posting content is not enough. Having a nice website is not enough. Waiting for the phone to ring is not enough. If nobody knows you exist… You have to go to the market. In this episode, you'll learn: Why relying only on inbound leads can kill your revenue How outbound sales puts you in control of your pipeline Why rejection must be treated like math, not emotion How daily prospecting creates predictable opportunities and consistent growth The truth is simple: You cannot cash hope. You cannot deposit likes. And you cannot build a serious company by waiting to be discovered. High-level operators hunt. They make the calls. They send the messages. They knock on the doors. They track the numbers. They master the pitch. Because when you know the math behind your outbound engine… You can scale your pipeline on command. Stop waiting for the market to find you. Take the fight to the market. Do the outbound work. Close the deal. And keep leveling up. Your Network is your NETWORTH! Together, they delve into Andrew Michael Hurley's acclaimed 2019 novel, Starve Acre.Starve Acre ‘An impeccable work of folk horror' – The Irish Times The worst thing possible has happened. Richard and Juliette Willoughby's son, Ewan, has died suddenly at the age of five. Convinced that the boy still lives on in some form, and desperate to make contact, Juliette seeks the help of the Beacons, a seemingly benevolent group of occultists. Richard, an art historian, tries to blot out the pain of his grief by turning his attention to the field opposite their house, Starve Acre. Patiently he digs in the barren soil looking for the roots of a legendary oak tree, but unearths something which ought to have remained buried. ‘I will confidently predict that no reader will guess where it's heading . . . Daniel Rood, author of In the Shadow of the Great House, describes how, during the Siege of Yorktown, Cornwallisprioritized British sugar profits in Jamaica over the lives of thousands of black refugees, pushing them out to starve or face recapture. In contrast, the American "patriots" used human property as a military recruitment tool, offering poor white soldiers land and "one healthy sound negro" for their service. This strategy hardened the link between slavery and freedom for white Americans, ensuring the plantation system's survival long after the Revolution concluded. (12)1800

Rosaria Butterfield uses the story of a WWII Japanese soldier who hid in a cave for 27 years to illustrate how false beliefs trap us in bondage. Though legally free when the war ended in 1945, the soldier refused to believe the war was over, remaining captive to his false convictions. Many Christians experience similar spiritual bondage they believe they're forgiven through Christ's blood but don't truly believe they're free from sin's patterns, habits, and thoughts. Butterfield provides eight practical points for starving sin, beginning with making your calling and election sure. Reject the cave of sin's bondage by embracing your true identity and freedom in Christ. Topics: Sin, Freedom in Christ, Identity in Christ, Spiritual bondage, Sanctification
In the halls of our Venice, Italy retreat house are priceless paintings and works of art. Clearly, the owner is a serious collector. But one piece stopped me. It hangs in a second-story hallway—gold-framed, almost sculpted into the canvas itself. It's not just a painting; it has depth, dimension, movement. Figures seem to step forward out of the frame and cast real shadows on the wall. And it tells a story. A man is kneeling in prayer, hands lifted, eyes fixed on a crucifix of Jesus on the wall before him. His posture is steady. His focus is anchored. But beside him stands another figure—dark, winged, intent. Not attacking violently, but persistently present. Watching. Pressing. Distracting. And yet the man does not turn. He stays fixed on Jesus. That image is not just art—it is a spiritual reality. We live in that scene. There is always a battle for the mind. Not always loud. Not always dramatic. Often subtle. Persistent. Relentless. The enemy does not need to destroy you if he can distract you. Because where your attention goes, your life follows. My friends, this is a real picture of what is continually going on around us. The spiritual battle of Satan's demons forever against us, flying around, shooting flaming arrows, throwing threats and insults – all while Jesus is strong and steady above it all. The question is, where are we looking? What are we focusing on? What gets our mind? If your mind isn't saved by Jesus, then it is completely vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy. If you're not focused on Jesus, you are continually distracted by the forces of darkness, acts of evil, and threats of terror. Your mind is the battlefield of this spiritual war. If the enemy captures your thoughts, he doesn't just influence your mood—he distorts your vision. If he gets your thoughts, you spiral in fear. If he gets your focus, you lose peace. If he gets your attention, you forget truth. This is why Scripture is so direct: The battle is not first in your circumstances—it is in your mind. For this battle, God offers a very specific piece of armor over your mind – the helmet of salvation. Ephesians 6:17, “Put on salvation as your helmet.” It's the final piece of your defensive armor. The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, and finally the helmet of salvation. “Put on salvation as your helmet.” This is not decorative language. It is defensive language. A helmet exists for one reason: to protect what cannot afford to be struck. Your head. Your mind. Your thoughts. In Roman warfare, the helmet marked identity and provided protection. It told others who you belonged to—and it guarded what could end the fight instantly. Because a blow to the head ends everything. So Paul is saying something deeply practical and deeply spiritual: God is not only saving your soul—He is guarding your mind. The phrase translated “take” or “put on” carries the idea of receiving what is being handed to you. This matters. Because salvation is not self-produced. It is not achieved through willpower or positive thinking. It is received. You don't fabricate salvation. You accept it. You don't defend yourself from the enemy by willpower alone. You stand under what God has already given. The word “salvation” here is not abstract. It means rescue. Deliverance. Being pulled out of danger you could not escape on your own. So the “helmet of salvation” is not just: “I am forgiven.” It is also: “My mind belongs to the One who rescued me.” It is the assurance that “I am saved, I am held, I am not defenseless in my mind.” The enemy rarely begins with destruction. He begins with intrusion. The crafty enemy of our is soul doing everything he can to distract us, torment us, fill us with doubts and fears. He says, “take off that helmet and let me get in your head!” That's the battle. If he can saturate your thoughts, he doesn't need to change your circumstances. He simply convinces you that darkness is all there is. But the helmet of salvation interrupts that lie. Girl, did you take off your helmet? Did you let the devil get in your head? Are you filled with doubts, worries and fears? Oh, my sister, your eyes aren't on Jesus because your head isn't protected. God is offering you a helmet to protect your mind, but it's always up to you to accept it and put it on. The helmet of salvation reminds us of this: WE ARE SAVED, WE ARE REDEEMED and WE ARE PROMISED A FUTURE. When your mind knows that full well, it changes the way you live. You're no longer distracted by the wispers of Hell. You're no longer fearful of the pokes of Satan. You're locked in to Jesus. There is an old story often told of two wolves—one feeding darkness, one feeding life. It goes like this: An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life: “A fight is going on inside of me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between 2 wolves. One wolf is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, jealousy, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.” He continued, “The other wolf is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. The same fight is going on inside of you – and inside of every other person too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.” Whatever you feed grows stronger. And the truth is simple: Your thoughts are your daily feeding ground. What are you feeding? Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose THOUGHTS ARE FIXED ON YOU.” This is not for those who are partially focused. Not for those who are occasionally focused. This is for those who have a FIXED FOCUS on God. That's what the helmet does. It fixes our focus. The helmet of salvation is not just protection from attack—it is alignment of attention. It brings your mind back into place. Back to truth. Back to Christ. Back to peace. Not shallow peace. Not temporary peace. But perfect peace. “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose THOUGHTS ARE FIXED ON YOU.” Remember the art work in the Venice retreat house – the man kneeling in prayer with his eyes fixed on Jesus even while Satan's demon is present and making his attack. The protected mind that knows it is saved by Jesus is unbothered, held in perfect peace. And so the works of God grows in his life while the works of Satan diminish. Have you been giving the enemy daily food with your thoughts? Has he been growing stronger and stronger in your life because you've allowed your mind to be attacked by him? Girl, put on your helmet. Your helmet reminds you who God is and who you are in him. You are saved. You are redeemed. You are promised a future with him. A soldier's helmet includes a marking identifying who they are fighting with and for. A crest or emblem on their helmet would signify their allegiance. When you put on the helmet of salvation, you're taking a stand in this spiritual battle of whose side you're on. But when your identity is unclear, your thoughts become vulnerable. You gotta know your identity in Jesus – then you know who you are saved, redeemed, held, secured, and the accusations from Hell lose their power. The enemy cannot easily dominate a mind anchored in identity. You're standing with Jesus in victory. Your enemy has already been defeated – he fights from a place of defeat, settling for the spoils of your wandering thoughts and dark corners of your mind left unprotected. Give him NOTHING. The bad wolf gets NOTHING from you. Starve him out! Satan doesn't even get the crumbs of your thoughts today. Nothing. Give him no space in your mind. Billy Graham said this, “If you get your mind off Christ and you get it on some things you shouldn't be thinking about, then you pray, ‘Lord, forgive me and help me to get my mind back on Christ.’ I do many times.” This is the action of putting the helmet of salvation on. The moment you recognize your mind is wandering, you get it back under the protection of your salvation offered in Jesus! This is the discipline of the helmet. Not striving. Not panic. Just returning. Again and again. To Jesus. That painting in Venice shows it clearly: A man kneeling in prayer. Darkness present—but not dominant. Eyes fixed on Christ. That is the helmet of salvation. A protected mind is not a mind that never sees darkness. It is a mind that refuses to be ruled by it. So keep your focus. Keep your identity. Keep your helmet on. Because you are not fighting for victory. You are standing in it. Starve the Beast The world is crazy - full of poop reports, studies on how governments can save money by killing citizens, and sky-high valuations in the stock market. It's wonderful to hear good news in times like this, where there is someone willing to sue Google and US Government for censorship and defamation or where Rep Anna Paulina Luna is trying to prevent more lobbying for foreign governments' best interests. Today we talk about the positive and negative stories happening around the world. The beast that wants to control us believes they will never be held accountable for their actions. The pentagon has failed its 8th consecutive audit, but there is no punishment for them. Those from the Epstein list that hurt children have not been punished yet. If we don't like the actions of the beast, the best thing we can do is to starve the beast. A troll told me to stick to motivation and puppy posts — and that one comment unlocked a conversation I think every one of you needs to hear right now. In this episode, I break down why responding to negativity is the worst thing you can do, why most people aren't thinking about you nearly as much as you think, and how to stop letting other people's perception dictate how you live your life. This one is raw, personal, and straight to the point. Key Takeaways Hate is like fire — it needs oxygen to survive, and your attention is that oxygen. Starve it. When you stop responding to negativity, it has nowhere to go but back to the person who started it. You do not need to defend your hobbies, your lifestyle, or your decisions to anyone. Making choices based on what other people want from you is a fast track to imposter syndrome and comparison traps. Not everyone ignoring you is doing it out of malice — most people are too busy fighting their own battles to be thinking about yours. Action Steps The next time someone comes at you with negativity online or in person, make a conscious choice to not respond — not out of weakness, but out of strategy. Let the fire die. Audit one area of your life where you have been making decisions based on what others will think or accept. Make one decision this week that is purely for you. Think about a situation where you felt wronged or overlooked and ask yourself honestly: was it really about me, or were they dealing with something I knew nothing about? Let it go. Notable Quote You would be surprised to find out that not everybody in life makes their decisions based on you.
After Jesus was baptized (Matthew 3:16), the Holy Spirit descended and REMAINED on Him. What does that mean for us today? In this message, Bishop Gallardo answers: ✔️ How do you receive the Holy Spirit? (Acts 2:38–39) ✔️ What is the “flesh” really? ✔️ Why do Christians still struggle? ✔️ How do you crucify wrong desires and walk in the Spirit? The flesh is the OLD boss — self-led and impulse-driven. The Holy Spirit is the NEW boss — God-led and obedience-based.

Don't Ever Waste a Heartbeat: How Open Heart Surgery Unlocked Rachel McCord's True Purpose What happens when the woman producing 19 shows, running a Hollywood media network, and appearing on national television is quietly fighting to stay alive? That's the story Rachel McCord tells in this raw, remarkable episode of the Business of Story. Meet Rachel McCord Rachel McCord is the founder of The McCord List, a Hollywood media network that produces McCordless Today — a daily talk show airing on network television and streaming on Roku, Apple TV, Samsung, and Amazon. She's the author of You Can't Heal Your Life, But I Know a Guy, and the co-founder of Viral Brand, a creator marketing company that has launched campaigns for some of the biggest films and TV shows in the world. But before any of that, Rachel was a girl who moved 33 times before she was 16, grew up in multiple trailer parks in Georgia, and began working 13-hour days at a pizzeria at age 13 — not because she had to, but because she was battling depression and didn't want to go home. What You'll Discover in This Episode The hidden cost of success nobody talks about. Rachel was running the education for the world's largest fashion trade show, building a seven-figure media network, and appearing on national television — while simultaneously fighting PTSD, suppressed childhood memories, suicidal depression, and a heart condition that was quietly marching her toward heart failure. How EMDR therapy unlocked a missing chapter of her life. A chance encounter with a therapist led Rachel to a session that recovered years of suppressed childhood memories in a single afternoon — memories she had blocked as a protective response to severe early trauma. The Jerusalem moment that changed everything. Two months before her EMDR breakthrough, Rachel stood in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and begged God to heal her broken heart — not knowing how much healing was still ahead. Open heart surgery at 32 — and the peace that surprised everyone. When Rachel was diagnosed with severe mitral valve prolapse and told she needed open heart surgery (a procedure one in five patients don't survive), she discovered something unexpected: she was ready. The two weeks before surgery became the catalyst for her book. The three-part framework from her book. Get real and honest about your life. Starve fear, feed faith. Do what you're here for. Rachel breaks down each principle and why self-help alone — no matter how many books you read — can't do what faith can. The StoryCycle Genie brand assessment. Park ran Rachel's brand through the StoryCycle Genie before the episode. Rachel shares what it validated, what gaps it revealed, and why she immediately started planning how to use it for her own show hosts. Like the rest of us, Pope Leo, the first American Pope, is under siege by MAGA. We discuss MAGA's war on the "globalist," "culturally Marxist" Catholic Church with Colleen Dulle, Vatican reporter for America Magazine and author of Struck Down, Not Destroyed. Christian Nationalists have captured the White House, Congress, and Supreme Court. Now they are targeting the Holy See. We track the strategy from Steve Bannon's "gladiator school" for disinformation agents to recently converted Catholic JD Vance using his faith to justify mass deportations and ICE terror squads. MAGA has launched a financial boycott of the Catholic Church, provided safe haven and amplification for its biggest crackpots, while deploying dark-money disinformation and a Fox News-style Catholic press to target reformers. We also confront the Vatican's long history of abuse and gaslighting. We discuss the erasure of trans people and women leaders like Mary Magdalene, arguably the true first pope. We also look to what the first American pontiff, Pope Leo, will bring in this time of crisis, and whether he will continue Pope Francis's war on Opus Dei–the far-right human trafficking crime cult that gained prominence during Franco's dictatorship in Spain. Opus Dei has set up shop in Washington, DC, counting among its allies Vance and the Heritage Foundation's Kevin Roberts, architect of Project 2025.
