Very early on Olivia felt drawn to the field of sexuality and sex work. After studying gender and sexuality at UVIC she got involved with Peers Victoria Resources Society, which provides outreach, harm reduction, and education services for people in the sex industry. Let's talk about sexual health for older adults! Leah Tidey is a Ph.D. Candidate in Applied Theatre at the University of Victoria. Her research focuses on the social stigma of sexuality across the life course and explores intergenerational, community-based theatre as a means to address it. Her work as Playwright/Facilitator with the Victoria Target Theatre Society and Victoria High School, federally funded in part by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program, culminated in a well-received intergenerational performance of You're Doing What?! At Your Age?! Leah currently works with the Island Sexual Health Society on a Community Wellness Grant to develop a sexual health program for older adults.
