Progressive Hispanic America millennial interested in the empirical facts and finding the best opinions in a world where many will give opinions that go against facts when opinions can only happen if it is neither right nor wrong.
In this episode we get Ray to come into the studio and we decide to keep the mics on and it turns out to be a great, thoughtful and funny conversation with Ray. He walks in while we're discussing gender identity and we end up talking about video games. Special shout out to Apex Legend's Bloodhound. This is exactly what I want to be doing; asking questions, learning, being understanding of others and playing video games. Life is good.
This episode is very special to me as it is the first time I have a guest and if you've been listening then you're aware that I've wanted to do this for a while now. I get to talk to Casino about his music studio, what he means to me as a friend and we talk about decapitations, toe nails and other subjects that might have you scratching your head or reflecting on the meaning of life. I hope you enjoy, I definitely did.
Hey, it's been a month since the last upload so today we're back at it with more opinions that no one ever asked for. Managers at a Tyson Foods is accused of betting on when their workers would catch COVID and in Chicago, Mayor Lori Lightfoot denies knowing of email an email she got regarding a bet about the teacher strike that was happening in out city. You surprised by this news? I'm not. I also touch on a new topic regarding the world of comic books but mostly the world of people who shout out, "snowflake" and "soy boy" at people. It's about a comic book titled, "I Am Not Starfire" and I think the reaction to the comic book is an illustration of people literally judging a book by it's cover. Thanks for listening!
Hey there! So I quit my job during a pandemic but that's nothing compared to Trump refusing to concede, which was expected, right? Also, Trump Jr calls for "total war" and some of his supporters speak in tongues.
Hey, shout out to some of my listeners that reached out to me just to say that they're listening and proud of me. Thank you so much. Today's episode I talk about ACB's new job as a Supreme Court Judge. Pretty scary shit. Then Dave Rubin says something really stupid and it's got me asking, "does anyone actually take this guy seriously?" Thanks for listening! Almost at 300 downloads, btw!
Hello, in this episode I end up taking a healthy dose of mushrooms. I didn't think I would here but it happened. Anyway, the episode begins with an intro, post-use then I play a portion of the trip and occasionally come back to add commentary. I have hallucinated before when I got drunk in Joliet and smoked K2! Funny story that I mention in this podcast. Anyway, shout out to my boy for guiding me through the experience and making sure I was safe, apologies for yelling, bruh! Also, let's get this episode out there! Thank you for the support. twitch.tv/nationjj Beat: https://www.ricandthadeusonline.com/
On episode 26, I talk read excerpts from Glenn Greenwald's recent Intercept article on the left's prayers for Trump's speedy recovery after months of comparing him to dictators and tyrants. Can a good person wish Trump death by covid? I provide my personal opinion on that too. I also play audio from David Pakman's interview of Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Massachusetts, Richard Wolff regarding the way the US has failed Americans during a pandemic and mostly due to minimal union representation and crony capitalism. Thanks for listening!
Today I talk about an unfair justice system & Trump's threat to remain as POTUS without an election. Factcheck: I erroneously state that police had a wrong address on the "no knock" warrant and that police then broke into a different address, resulting in being incorrect twice. Let me clarify that the warrant had Breonna's address, though it was still incorrect, and police broke into Breonna's home. My apologies for the miscommunication.
Episode 24. Thank you for your continued support. Today I talk about Cuties on Netflix and how Hollywood has always sexualized kids, Trump admits on calls, that covid is dangerous; he admits this before anything was ever done and Bob Woodward keeps the recordings for seven months before releasing it so that he can sell his book. Also, we remember 9/11 and our thoughts are with the families of the victims.
What a week it has been for Americans. I hope you find yourself well. Today I talk about the shooting of Jacob Blake and the aftermath. It's been a divisive issue but I understand that those looking for citizens to be more controlled than cops, are wrong on so many levels. I end the podcast by playing audio of Chris Webber's statement on TNT and a recording of a woman that spoke at the RNC, where she calls, racial profiling cops, "smart & she uses her adopted "brown" baby as an example and no, this isn't a sick twisted comedy show.
I rant about Kamala Harris and seriously take a detour several times. She's on video sounding progressive on police reform and what it would mean, so it's footage I'm going to hold her accountable to. Will there be change? Honestly, I feel like both options for president are shitty and yeah, I'm voting Biden. Sue me. I also talk about the unfortunate events regarding a young boy named Cannon; the story really fucked with me today and my thoughts are with his family. RIP Cannon.
Shout to the supporters of TBD Podcast as now we're on episode 21. Wow, I'm excited to see where we end up. Today I share my views on what real capitalism is and why spoiling billionaires means thousands of deaths and millions of people working their asses off while remaining poor. Then I finish the episode with the craziest of all stories. So Ammon Bundy, a libertarian supports the defunding of the police. Now, that is what libertarian would think except most people on the right are rarely consistent with their views on policies and politics. Enjoy the show. Thank you!
This is episode 20 and I'm happy to have made it this far. I went on a run and thought of somethings that I end up addressing here including fair pay, reparations and some really awful statements from senator Tom Cotton and Governor Mike Parsons. This shit be blowing me but let's stay strong and keep forward.
Today I touch on several topics inclduing Trump's ridiculous Fox News interview with Chris Wallace, the sexual allegations being made about several Fox News anchors (not surprised at all), the murder of Judge Esther Salas' son and shooting of her husband by a crazy woman hating lawyer. I know there's so much bad news going around so with that said, I'm working on where to take this podcast in regards to enjoyable subjects that can motivate us and make us laugh. Thank you so much for your support.
Tucker Carlson hosts the most watched cable news show in the history of cable news and his top writer is a white supremacist incel. Yeah, crazy I know; not surprising though. Hey, Meghan McCain is team Tucker though and she doesn't think Tucker is connected to this racist even though it's been proven that posts written by Blake Neff were also said on Fox News. We cringe our way to the end of this episode by listening to the awful Betsy Devos refuse to answer if it is safe for kids to return to school. These people are monsters. Have a good day.
Tucker Carlson's old friend, Daily Caller employee and head writer on his racist show is a racist and was caught so Fox News pretended to not be a propaganda-pushing right wing television show and condemned his posts on a racist forum. Then we talk about how churches, mostly of 200 members and above, including megachurches applied for PPP loans to pay their employees because apparently the property tax exemption, offerings, tv shows, and tithings aren't enough. I finished off the episode with audio of a gentleman in Syracuse pointing about the absurdity of Syracuse cops getting paid by Syracuse resident tax dollars while living in the burbs hence funding the burbs with city tax dollars; another example of systematic racism.
Today I talk about kids in cages and even looked for any recent articles; most were from weeks ago. Tucker Carlson spews more racist tropes and praises Trump for saying that schools are teaching kids to hate the US. Fox News actually pushes this kind of rhetoric, knowing full well that there are people in this country with guns committing heinous crimes against humanity. Our teachers and students have enough to deal with already. I end the stream with several other topics including SCOTUS' decision on birth control and the ridiculousness that is companies holding your healthcare over your head like a carrot over a horse. Let's keep fighting for what's right.
Today I think about what there is to celebrate and here it is; we are tired of the injustices throughout our country and we are speaking up like never before! Progressive values are more common yet we still have the powers that be, trying to keep many oppressed. Not anymore though. Not only do we fight for black lives but we also fight for Vanessa Guillen, Gregory Morales, universal healthcare and education, a living wage, and so much more. I touch on several topics today including Gilead's price gouging to a drug taxpayers helped create and how several billionaires became even richer during the past months; these billionaire welfare queens are the worse. Thank you for your support.
"How are you doing?" has been a strange question lately. I'm ok, I guess. I mean, I'm healthy and working so I'm good but knowing how those in leadership positions have done very little about Taylor's murder is a horrendous feeling. Protestors are doing all they can to fight back and fortunately we are seeing change but we need that change to include justice for Breonna Taylor.
Today I mostly talk about my thoughts on Christina Gomes from Florida who spoke to Palm Beach county officials about masks, god and devil, Bill Gates, Hillary Clinton, 5G, pedos and smirking behind a face mask. I finish the episode with clips from Dave Rubin being ok that his buddy hates him, lbvs and with Trump's imaginary friend calling him, "perfect." Thanks for supporting.
Hey, thanks for listening. I hope your weekend was a good one and that you find yourself in good health. Today I talk about the murder of Elijah McClain last year by the hands of police and first responders. May he rest in peace and may justice be served. We touch on other news including Trump's laughable rally and I even talk about Amy Klobuchar. Take care and thank you for your support.
Hey, I hope you're well. I wasn't taught at any public school, I attended, about Juneteenth. In fact, it made me think about all the people I was never taught about in schools and how it was mostly white faces printed in my history books. I also touch on Jamaal Bowman, and Cedric Richmond. Enjoy your weekend and take care, everyone!
It took way too long but the LGBTQ community won a diligentl fought battle. Congratulations to the wonderful people involved. We touch on other sensitive topics and we continue to say that Black Lives Matter. In other news, Larry Kudlow goes on a ridiculous rant to avoid answering whether Americans should know the names of the PPP recipients.
RIP Derrick Scott who died after not being allowed to breathe by Oklahoma police. The article that I read on this episode is heart wrenching and racists use the very thing we are fighting against to defend themselves. I also talk about Mr. LeBron James' efforts, along with other athletes and celebrities such as Trae Young and Kevin Hart, to help the black community vote. He said his approach will be to provide a tutorial in voting. In my opinion, Mr. James is continuing the legacy of other great Civil Rights leaders. We also talk a bit about NASCAR too, yeah I'm just as surprised. As always, thank you for your support. Please spread the word about the TBD podcast.
Today I talk about a few things that make me facepalm in today's client. Fox News' Tucker Carlson misquotes Elmo's dad, yeah Elmo's dad, lol. The NYPD union leader rants about shiny badges while yelling for respect. Oh and CrossFit's CEO tweets something you may think only Trump would tweet. A lot of idiots in positions of leadership. Still, I believe we're seeing progress and I'm optimistic when I see young people speak out. Thanks for listening. Support by liking and sharing!
Hey, I'm typing this as fast as I can as I need to be getting to the next bus for my first day of work. I want to continue uploading episodes and will be making a schedule soon. I'm nervous and excited. Today, I woke up to tweets from NBA player DeMarcus Cousins addressing now former Sac Kings's Grant Napear. Other NBA pros came out and call out Napear on his racism even saying the Kings front office already knew. The news makes me feel like changes are coming. Thank you for your support!
Now on Spotify and iTunes: TBD with JJ Perez. This is episode 6 and today I get to talk about my favorite game, NBA 2k20. LeBron James son, Bronny Jr got on the 2s with Adin2huncho and swept the world's best shot creator, Tyceno! The entire community was looking forward to the game that included actor Miles Brown. It was fun to watch but ended too quickly. We will be getting a rematch which I'm excited for. We also touch on a few other things including some personal stuff about my past. Hope you enjoy!
On today's episode, we touch on what the serpent in the book of Genesis means for some. We continue speaking on how the BLM movement is forcing the powers that be, to make changes that will result in less brutality, inequality, and unfair treatment of many Americans. Then, we listen to Professor Cornel West's interviews on MSNBC with Brian Williams and on CNN with Anderson Cooper. I do the my best to break down my favorite quotes from his interviews but he speaks so eloquently, so passionately that it'll take me a thousand more episodes for me to be a quarter of the orator that he is. You'll notice that I'm lost for words at times and it's because the professor speaks in such a way that stirs up so many emotions that I have to pause and think. I hope you enjoy, like and support. Thank you so much. We're almost at 50 downloads so please consider spreading the word about TBD.
Today's episode became a lesson! I had no idea who Kimberly Jones was but I do now. Just followed her on Twitter too, @kimlatricejones. I explain how BLM is now making me push myself to be better in other aspects of life. We even get into some talk about religion. Specifically, the proven projecting unto others that evil people do. I'm going to improve the show as I learn along the way. I just thought of a subject that I touch on in this episode but never conclude after moving to another topic and forgetting, lol. I'll bring it up in episode 5 then. I also touch on Drew Brees' apologies since I did mention him on a recent episode. Hey, thanks for you support. Like and share.
Hey, hope you're doing well. Thanks for joining me today. Drew Brees says he doesn't agree with people who disrespect the flag when asked about NFL athletes and kneeling; kneeling was never about disrespecting the flag. He also mentions what he thinks of when he hears the national anthem but never considers what others might think of when they hear the anthem. So after a quick google search, I find the original racist lyrics and read them out loud. I also touch on the NBA returning, which makes me really happy and I'm excited to see LeBron James, AD, Kuz, Dwight and Caruso win a chip, lol.
Thanks for listening to the TBD podcast. Please like and share. Let's go ahead and call this episode 2. To listen TBD's first two podcasts, please subscribe to my Instagram @Unmovingtime. I couldn't believe what Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas tweeted but then again, it makes sense. Then there's the LAPD chief and mayor Hal Marx saying stupid shit. So much going on; love yourself and learn to empathize with others. Let's work together. Thank you. RIP to David McAtee & James Scurlock
On the third episode, but first on all podcast apps; I talk about my feelings towards the movement and the enemies against equality because of their egotistical perspective of who they are as a race, color, class, religious affiliation, etc. Our fight continues at the voting polls and in the arts; we have to speak out through our form of creative expression. Whatever you've wanted to do, now is the time. Paint, sing, dance, and do it all in the name of a better tomorrow.
