The MOU commits the United States to ensuring a $300 billion reconstruction fund for Iran, lifting all sanctions regardless of type, releasing all frozen Iranian assets, and allowing immediate oil sales upon signing. Iran's nuclear program and enriched uranium stockpile are left entirely unaddressed. Israel was excluded from the negotiations and is not a party to the agreement. The signing ceremony is scheduled for Friday. Critics cited in this video span the political spectrum, from Hudson Institute fellow Josh Block to Fox News contributor Andy McCarthy, who compared the deal to Neville Chamberlain's capitulation before World War II, to National Review editor Philip Klein, who called it money for nothing. Even Ben Domenech, husband of Meghan McCain, acknowledged the deal failed to achieve any of the stated objectives before spinning it as a win. The second story covers federal prosecutors in Minneapolis announcing a 94-page indictment against 15 individuals allegedly affiliated with Antifa. Hawk notes that Antifa is not a formal organization, that 75 percent of the Minnesota U.S. Attorney's Office staff quit earlier this year, and that the marquee piece of evidence presented at the press conference was a Facebook post reading "we need to become ungovernable." Half of similar cases brought by this DOJ have already been dismissed. It's News Day Tuesday on The Majority Report. On today's program: Donald Trump has secured an illegal $1.7B slush fund from the Treasury that can be used however the president chooses and comes with ZERO oversight. At a Senate Budget Hearing for the DOJ, Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) gets under acting Attorney General Todd Blanche's skin simply by pointing out that he was Donald Trump's personal lawyer less than two years ago. Adam Serwer, author and staff writer at The Atlantic, joins the program to discuss the dismantling of the Voting Rights Act. In the Fun Half: More from Senator Chris Van Hollen's exchange with acting AG Todd Blanche at the Senate Budget Hearing. Carl Quintanilla mentions that Donald Trump has been day trading which sends Jim Cramer in to an apoplectic shock, I guess out of fear of reprimand from his Supreme Leader. Donald Trump claims the requested $1B for his ballroom is actually not for the ballroom, it's for the security around the ballroom. The ballroom is of course at no expense to the taxpayer, unless you count the $1B of tax dollars that are being used to build the ballroom. Zohran Mamdani takes a jab at Ronald Reagan during his speech announcing the construction of a city-run grocery store in the south Bronx. It appears that Artificial Intelligence is really doing a number on Jim Breuer's brain. Meghan McCain proves again that she is an awful person as she attacks Nicholas Kristoff's piece in the New York Times on the horrible abuse that Palestinian prisoners were subjected to at the hands of Israeli guards. SEASON 4 EPISODE 82: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (3:00) SPECIAL COMMENT: Call me a cynic but I am beginning to get a sense that you may have some doubts about this Not-An-Assassination Attempt at The White House Correspondents Dinner. Well - that's what it was. Or in this case, what it wasn't. The acting attorney general says the alleged perp quote “was stopped before he got anywhere near the President.” So, NOT an assassination attempt, per the attorney general. But of course the White House is still trying to sell it as one (its 'protocol director' insists it was "the hand of God" again; its deputy chief of staff tried to start another 'USA!' chant after the incident). Even though proximity is the definition of such a nightmare scenario. Saturday Night? Obama had 15 of those. Still, among my fellow Americans who are NOT in the Trump Mass Hypnosis Cult, I may be in the minority because I DON’T think it was staged. Why are you so cynical? Just because an hour beforehand Karoline Leavitt told Fox quote “There will be some shots fired tonight!” That’s a coincidence. Just because Trump has gone insane about his quote “militarily top secret ballroom” and the next thing you know he’s GOING to a ballroom and after that the Secret Service screws up security AT the ballroom and after THAT he’s holding a press conference saying this is WHY he needs that ballroom and all his sock puppets are tweeting about the ballroom. Coincidence! Just because Trump and his filth have lied to you about every THING, every DAY, for 11 years… that’s no reason for you to think that was STAGED. It’s a coincidence! It’s all a coincidence. ALSO: for God's sake stop saying there's no room for violence in American politics and we don't resolve our differences this way! Certainly we all wish that were true. But in point of fact there's room for almost nothing BUT violence in American politics! Ask JFK, Reagan, Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Garfield, Lincoln, McKinley, dozens of others! What was the Civil War if not political violence? B-Block (28:00) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: The Staten Island cop who has reportedly amassed more than 500 speeding tickets, and last year averaged one every other day. Jeff Bezos' Washington Post will only print a letter to the editor responding to its editorial if the authors take out the references TO Jeff Bezos. And Tom Cotton makes a hilarious mistake: Iran will meet its match not on the battlefield but at the bargaining table because it's never faced the author of "Art Of The Deal." Who's gonna tell him? C-Block (41:00) MONDAYS WITH THURBER: We need a break from media people talking about themselves so let's drop "Things I Promised Not To Tell" and instead read you his wonderful, weird, slightly spooky "The Black Magic Of Barney Haller." See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Jimmy and Americans' Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss a Wisconsin sheriff who recently held a press conference to falsely imply that a man was arrested for posting a satirical meme of the sheriff with Star of David symbols on his forehead—a clear attempt to conflate mockery with anti-Semitism and criminalize protected speech. Jimmy points out that a community note corrected the record: the man was actually arrested on an unrelated outstanding felony stalking warrant, not for the meme. He ridicules the sheriff's claim that he "signed up for this" while whining about drawings, and notes the absurdity of threatening legal action over satire while the First Amendment explicitly protects political mockery. The segment concludes that this story reflects a broader effort to normalize censorship of Israel criticism under the guise of fighting anti-Semitism. Plus segments on Jon Stewart pressing former State Department official Jake Sullivan on the U.S.'s involvement in the Syrian dirty war, the New York Times acknowledging that the Iranian protests last January were fomented by Mossad, Candace Owens sharing texts from Charlie Kirk revealing what he really thought of Meghan McCain and Dan Bongino being publicly confronted about protecting pedophiles. Also featuring Stef Zamorano and Mike MacRae! Plus a phone call from Kash Patel!

Miranda Wilkins fills in for Meghan McCain and dives into Joe Kent's resignation, the growing MAGA divide over Iran, and what it says about where Trump's coalition is headed next. She's joined by Billy Binion of Reason and Lydia Moynihan of the New York Post to break down the messy messaging around Iran, the fractures inside the America First movement, and why some of Trump's loudest supporters suddenly seem a whole lot less aligned. They also get into the bizarre Megyn Kelly-Mark Levin feud, the Timothée Chalamet opera uproar, DOGE's underwhelming legacy, and why the internet keeps serving up conspiracy theories, Bigfoot sightings, and general end-of-days energy leaving Miranda asking, "are we okay?" Meghan McCain joined Bruce & Gaydos to discuss the politics that surround the war in Iran.
Miranda Wilkins is filling in while Meghan McCain is still out on maternity leave, and this week she's joined by Ryan Girdusky and Yemisi Egbewole to break down the chaos coming out of Iran, the White House's wildly mixed messaging, and why so many voters still have no idea what the actual endgame is. They get into the growing divide inside the MAGA coalition over military action, why Marco Rubio suddenly looks like the most visible person in the administration, and whether JD Vance is actually the heir apparent or just the guy with the title. Then they dive into Kristi Noem's very obvious not-a-promotion, the absurd DHS spending questions that helped tank her, and why her whole tenure felt more like cosplay than governing. They also touch on the latest Epstein mess, Bill Clinton being Bill Clinton, and wrap with a little palate cleanser courtesy of Sweet Brown, because truly, ain't nobody got time for that. Meghan McCain joined Bruce & Gaydos and shared her thoughts on the war with Iran and the potential for a military draft.
Bruce & Gaydos discuss the latest on the war in Iran with Meghan McCain about the possibility of a military draft.
Miranda Wilkins is filling in while Meghan McCain remains out on maternity leave, and she's joined by Mo Kelly and Daily Mail Chief Campaign Correspondent Nikki Schwab to break down a chaotic week in politics. They start with the confusing messaging around the U.S. strikes on Iran. Officials say the threat was imminent, but the administration still hasn't clearly explained the endgame. The panel discusses the political risks if the conflict drags on, the split reaction among voters, and whether the White House is intentionally keeping its strategy vague. Next, they dig into the wild results from the Texas primaries. Dan Crenshaw is out, Tony Gonzalez heads to a runoff despite major scandal, and the Democratic race between James Tallarico and Jasmine Crockett reveals a lot about where both parties' bases are heading as the midterms approach. Finally, they tackle the latest twists in the Epstein investigation. Newly circulating deposition clips from Bill Clinton, congressional leaks, and a chaotic rollout of documents have raised even more questions about whether the investigation will produce real accountability. And because the internet always delivers a bizarre moment of comic relief, the show wraps with the funniest corporate feud of the week: Burger King trolling McDonald's after the company's CEO posted a painfully awkward burger taste test video. In this emotional “Kim on a Whim,” Kim St. Onge unpacks Candace Owens' explosive new docuseries Bride of Charlie, which targets Erica Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Marc and Kim condemn Owens' attacks as cruel and self-serving, contrasting them with the faith-driven resilience of Erica and the movement's continued growth. The segment dives into media obsession, personal grief, and the surge in Christian revival following Charlie's death — while spotlighting reactions from Ben Shapiro, Meghan McCain, and others slamming Owens' “pure evil” campaign. David Waldman's weekend assignment for KITM listeners is to review the newly released Trump-Epstein files and copy him with notable highlights before Monday's show. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Lovable rogue Donald K. Trump is suing himself for 10 billion dollars, but don't expect that to teach him a lesson, he'll always be a kind of demented jerk, too. Meghan McCain wants attention… and needs attention also. Trump tacoed on his own taco, backing out of pulling back in Minnesota, now that there are two instances of Alex Petti not pulling a gun on ICE officers, and AI has been effective at making anti-ICE bad guys seem maybe as bad as his bad guys. Meanwhile ICE still gallop through town like drunken rustlers in a western. Someone somewhere for some reason decided to arrest Don Lemon. Pam Bondi took credit for taking out not one but two especially uppity journalists. Judge Patrick J. Schiltz says ICE has violated nearly 100 court orders but cancels the contempt hearing requiring the ICE director's appearance. We know who raided the Fulton County Board of Elections building, who wanted it done, and why… but what about the paperwork? No, it was not Thomas Albus, the German Muppet dubber, but a guy who might be his son, Thomas Albus, the United States Attorney for the eastern District of Missouri, and the official elections persecutor/prosecutor heading into the midterm elections. With only hours to spare, Chuck Schumer resolved the Federal shutdown. Ok, that might be a bit oversimplified. There will be a shut down, but Chuck did good.
