Hey Y'all, Welcome back, and thank you for always listening! This episode is our final full episode of Season 1 but, don't be sad! We will be back in no time for the start of Season 2! In this episode Kayse gives her final bumpdate (the countdown to baby is REAL y'all) and we talk about what the future of Two Peas and the Podcast looks like for us AND for you! We reflect on where we started, what this podcast has done for our relationship and how it has helped manifest where we are today. We are blessed and grateful for our listeners, our guests and each other and we cannot wait to come back for Season 2! We are going to take this time to have a bit of a mental break, prepare for the holidays and prepare for our newest family member coming into this crazy world. We hope you have the best holiday season and we will talk to you soon! Who knows, maybe if you make the nice list this year Santa will bring you some bonus episodes to hold you over... XOXOMamma Bear & Kayse
Hey y'all! Its November 5th so MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Kidding, we still love you Thanksgiving. Anyway, so this week we are getting into the holiday season spirit and talking all about the holidays but SPECIFICALLY having a new significant other join the family for the holidays! This can be scary, uncomfortable, downright awkward and boy oh boy do we have experiences with this. We share some of our stories, give out some advice on how we have made awkward times more fun and talk about ways to make a newcomer feel comfortable and welcome while still getting a proper read on them. It might only be November but somethings you have to prepare for early and we are here for you peas! XOXOMamma Bear & Kayse
Hey Y'all! On this week's episode we have another mother daughter duo, they are the hosts of their own mother daughter podcast called Stage 4 Clingers @thestage4clingers. Claudia was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and her daughter Kate @katenichollzz hasn't left her side since. With the diagnoses and their new way of life; a comedy podcast based off of Claudia's bucket list of guests was born! This interview was one of our favorites so far. The outlook Kate and Claudia have toward the diagnoses, their relationship and new way of life living with stage 4 cancer (Claudia) and becoming the caretaker (Kate) is nothing short is inspiring. Their use of comedy as a coping mechanism and podcast as a bonding experience is refreshing and regardless of where you are in your life, you can really take something away from this episode even if it's just an hour of laughter. We talk about their own mother/daughter relationship, the ups and downs and the work they both put in to get to where they are. Kate's feisty self having a mind of her own from a young age and how sometimes moms just need to let their daughters be who they are going to be, even if they don't understand it themselves. Thank you Kate and Claudia! Tits up, not out and lets count these swear words to see what we are donating to breast cancer research! XOXO, Mamma Bear & Kayse
Hey Peas! Welcome back!! This week we have a FANTASTIC episode with special guest Whitney Goodman. @sitwithwhit She is here to talk us through choosing to stay in a relationship or to leave one. Mamma Bear and I have had personal experience in this but we figured we would bring in an expert to talk with us about it. We talk about the reasons some people stay in unhealthy relationships and also why some people leave healthy ones and how we should be judgement free about both. Whitney also lets us in on what it's like being a marriage and family therapist and how that affects her own marriage. This is a great interview, we learned so much and loved every second of it. Make sure to go follow Whitney, subscribe to her newsletter, check out her workshops, downloadable content and more! Thanks for listening Peas! XOXOMamma Bear & Kayse
Welcome back Peas! On this week's episode we are tackling the subject of loss. Now y'all KNOW we only give advice on things we have experienced and share our stories to give a perspective on how we handled things. Unfortunately Mamma Bear and Kayse have quite a bit of experience on this subject so we figured why not share it with you! Now don't be alarmed, it's still us and we tried to keep things as light as possible for you given the subject but trigger warning we do share details of our losses so for anyone who has lost someone recently keep this in mind. We share our experiences, talk about our mechanisms of coping, openly share how "weird" we are with death and make it really clear that there isn't a right answer for any situation. We hope you like this episode and we hope you can take something from this. XOXO, Mamma Bear & KayseThis Episode is Dedicated to Rocky, Veronica, Becky, James, and Grandma & Pappy

Happy Thursday Peas! Kayse had a WEEK but Mamma Bear became a star, we needed a back to back feel good episode so we are talking all about what emotionally supports us the most, our PETS! Don't worry we don't JUST talk about our pets, we cover dating and pets, red flag pets and share stories from Kayse's childhood that include NOT having pets. Hey Peas! This week we chose to talk about a very special person. Samantha. We talk about her all the time, but we wanted to really explain who she is and how she has impacted our lives. Samantha is Mamma Bears step daughter with a very rare genetic disorder called CDKL5. On this episode we talk about what its like for Mamma Bear to have a step daughter with special needs, meeting Samantha for the first time, her relationship with Samantha's mother Karen and more. Not only do we want to spread awareness for CDKL5 but we also want to give credit out there to anyone with special needs and their caretakers for changing the lives of people around them for the better. Thank you to Karen and Donny allowing Samantha to be apart of our lives and thank you to Mamma Bear for sharing her experience with us. Happy Thursday Peas! Do we have a TREAT for you! We have been saying for quite some time we wanted to do a finance episode and it's FINALLY here!! Not only is this an episode talking about money, financial goals, saving account numbers, IRA's and 401K's but it is SO MUCH MORE than that. This week we have special guest Tancy Campbell of @herwellspentlife telling us all about how she paid off 105K in student loans in 48 months, her goal of saving 30K in one year and building generation wealth for her family all while doing it off of a single income and being a stay at home mom, the BOSS and matriarch of the household! This episode dives into the struggles and rewards of being a SAHM, maintaining independence and not getting the THANK YOU's you deserve. What started off as an episode about just finances turned into an inspiring episode about family, strength, grit and being proud of the very important roll each person plays within the household. We hope this inspires and encourages you as much as it did us! Hey Y'all, Welcome back! This weeks episode is all about the assholes of the world. You know them, you might even be one of them! We talk about the people that take their actions a little farther than just being a pet peeve. You know them, you could probably name one, or two right now. We are talking about those people, telling them to not be rude and hopefully bringing awareness to those that might not have realized they can be assholes too. And if this doesn't reach anyone who is actually an asshole, at least we get to vent about it with you in our little pod of kindness :) There are a few rants in here, so buckle up and happy listening Peas! XOXOMamma Bear & Kayse P.S. This episode goes out to the employees in the medical field, those in the service industry and TEACHERS because unfortunately y'all have to deal with these people on a daily basis. We support you!
Hey Y'all! Welcome back! This weeks episode Mamma Bear and Kayse had the idea to tell you the pros and cons of growing and staying in your small town. Having both experienced what it is like to grow up in a small town and eventually leave it, even for just a little bit, we share our experiences and words of encouragement for seeing more than just the same two bars and the same 5 people. We LOVE where we grew up, and where Mamma Bear still lives but we also share why its important to be open to broadening your mind and your horizons. However, before we dive into that topic Mamma Bear releases some pent up aggression and vents about her busy, somewhat drama filled week. Mamma Bear also says this episode gives off the vibe of wine drinking, pre pregnancy Kayse. We will let you be the judge of whether thats a good thing or a bad thing:) Happy Listening PEAS!XOXOMamma Bear & Kayse
Hey Y'all! Welcome back! This week we decided to head the opposite direction of any influencer and podcaster and tell you the REAL reviews of some things we have been influenced by. Everyone has their favorite influencer, and podcaster full of ads. Were here to give you our REAL opinion on some of the things we have tried and loved and other things we have fallen victim of. We also read some of your suggestions that have saved us from getting sucked in as well! Don't worry, they aren't all negative, we also share some products and subscriptions we love and think are fully worth it. We hope you enjoy our take and trust our taste, and don't forget to let us know some of the items you have been influenced by in our Two Peas and the Podcast group on facebook! Hey Y'all, WELCOME BACK!! First and foremost, thank you for allowing us to take two weeks off. We took the time, to listen, learn, and elevate voices that truly deserve to be heard. We sincerely hope you did the same. On this weeks episode we address a topic that is very near and dear to our hearts but first we talk about what we have learned and we talk about our support of the Black Lives Matter movement. We share what we learned, conversations we had and what we used to help us better understand topics like systematic racism, micro aggression's, being anti-racist and what we can do moving forward. We say it in the episode but we will say it again, we never want to say the wrong thing, and never want to misspeak, if at any point we offend someone please let us know and lets have an open and honest conversation. The topic this week is all about parental jealousy. This topic was the biggest point of contention in our relationship and we share with you our biggest fights and how we got through this rough patch in our life and our relationship. We came out on the other end stronger, closer and better than ever. We know we aren't alone in this issue, even if you don't realize your having it too and if we can help even just one person get through something like this than we will know its all worth it! P.S. we ramble a little bit at the end, but its because we're human and we couldn't figure out how to close such an important topic to us. SUE US.
