On our radar this week… Jeff takes a week off and just like that, Trump starts another war! This time with him smack-ass in the middle of it. Jeff and his bride were in Canada's Maritimes and was attacked with Canadian kindness, poutine, real beef and not diseased Argentinian horse meat, the best lobsters and oysters in the hemisphere, and the inability of artisans and merchants to ship their goods to their traditional U.S. partners – or even for me to ship purchases home, due to the economically illiterate tariffs and self-destructive imbecilic trade war with our closest cousins. Back here in the U.S.A.: Trump's war could really cost him, eh? Senate and gubernatorial races in Michigan, Wisconsin, Maine and Ohio are already being impacted by the economic turmoil spinning off Trump's latest stupidity. Too bad for John James and Mike Rogers, Porky POTUS spent much of the week focused on his issue Number One: naming things after him, including: Another effort to put his name on the Kennedy Center despite a court order, threatening to tear down the Center if he doesn't get his way; Stripping the name of a World War II hero off a new aircraft carrier, reportedly instead renaming it for him, while ordering the Navy to spend billions on redesigns of carriers so they looked like World War II carriers and revert to outdated steam-powered launch systems; Inscribing a plaque on his under-construction helipad with his signature, clearly delighted that the new granite slab outside the White House will be a great place for cocktail parties. Reportedly deciding to use his $400-million political bankroll to run an advertising blitz on the Greatness of Trump … instead of directly supporting Republican candidates. But Michigan Republicans aren't joining the Trump Name Game. At their weekend state nominating convention, none of their candidates for state office mentioned Trump even once. Their focus was putting lipstick on the pig that is the GOP record on the economy. I wish them all smashing luck as they contort themselves into cartoonish pretzels in their futile efforts to avoid being fatally tethered to Donald Trump's venereal disease-level job approval. State Republicans are also reeling from what appears to be a growing Blue Wave. The non-partisan Cook Political Report has moved two Michigan congressional races away from the GOP: in the Macomb County based 10th district, from Leans Republican to Tossup … and in the Saginaw Bay region 8th from “Lean Democratic” to “Likely Democratic.” State Democrats are sharpening their verbal axes as we approach the traditional Labor Day launch of the campaign. The Canada Trade War drew immediate fire from Lt. Governor nominee Winnie Brinks, and 10th district congressional candidate Christina Hines. Senator Elissa Slotkin, in a speech to UAW leadership, said a longer term threat posed by the Trade War is Canada's growing partnership with China on sales of EV's … and Trump then allowing those cars across the Gordie Howe Bridge. Abdul El-Sayed is highlighting the obvious challenge facing Mike Rogers in the Senate campaign: does he risk angering Donald Trump breaking with him on issues beginning with the Trump-created Iran war, and the emerging hot-button issue of Data Centers. But the possibly most ominous development of the week came from the very Trumpy Supreme Court, which has started to open the door to a federal takeover of elections. Without ruling on the merits of Trump's Post Office deciding who gets to vote, Chief Justice John Roberts gave Trump permission to begin implementing his executive order. It was all part of a bizarre week that can probably be summed up in two words: Lake America, Trump's latest Sharpie-labeled change to world maps. And we have more developments on state ballot proposals for November – both of those stories directly involving Mark. He has been on a winning streak in his election-related battles, and provides an update: what’s in, what’s out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I Will Always Love You” The feeling is mutual. "Automated Paradise" The Bristol-born Jon Klein got his start with the late-seventies post-punk outfit Europeans. After their break-up he formed the porto-goth band Specimen, who put out a handful of winning singles, but splintered before an album could be released. In 1987 Klein joined Siouxsie and the Banshees and went on to record three records with them: Peepshow, Superstition and The Rapture. Although Klein left the band in 1994, from there he moved from strength to strength, playing and recording with Shriekbak, Thomas Dolby, Talvin Singh and Space Tribe. He toured with Sinead O'Connor as her lead guitarist in 1995 and he played everywhere from Pinkpop to Glastonbury to Lollapalooza. Klein is one of those guys who has always stayed busy: he played in the band SNAIL, toured Southeast Asia as the musical director for Dr. Penguin's Magic Circus, went to art school and knocked out a degree in Fine Art and Critical Theory, has his own production company called Ground Control, co- produced an album for Fangoria, which hit Number One in Spain, composed soundtracks for film and theatre companies and played in the supergroup, Spammed with Horace Panter, Rat Scabies and Terry Edwards. He's also a filmmaker, an international fine artist and he is a member of the Tuned In Community Music Project with Jah Wobble. Klein and Jah Wobble have put out several fabulous albums, including A Brief History of Now and their latest effort, Automated Paradise. A jittery blast of searing post-punk and cultural dread, Automated Paradise finds Klein in fine form, slashing brilliantly away through each composition with fiery resolve. www.bombshellradio.com (http://www.bombshellradio.com) www.stereoembersmagazine.com (http://www.stereoembersmagazine.com) www.alexgreenbooks.com (http://www.alexgreenbooks.com) IG + BLUESKY + THREADS: @emberspodcast Email: editor@stereoembersmagazine.com

Right before recording this, Krysta was scrolling and hit a Heather McMahon clip threatening to scream if she saw the "preparing for the Netflix documentary" trend one more time. A few weeks earlier, everyone and their mother memed the Empire State Building proposal flag, and she didn't read half of them. There's an acronym she learned from a journalism professor in college for exactly this feeling: MEGO. My eyes glaze over. Four clients in the last few weeks have asked her some version of "do I have to do the trend if I'm not feeling it?" This episode is the answer: people are bored, and the way we've been teaching everyone to make content is why.In this episode we dive into:• Why Instagram feels like the same hook, carousel, and handful of opinions repackaged• The difference between studying content and copying it• Where content ideas actually come from when they don't come from your feed• A seven-day challenge to break the scroll-first habitEveryone Is Pulling From the Same Pile of Ingredients• The advice is identical everywhere: look at what's performing, save the trending formats, download the hundred hooks, ask ChatGPT to adapt someone's viral reel• Krysta teaches some of these tactics. Studying content is a real skill and part of your job in 2026. The problem is when it's your only input• Add AI tools that all write with the same formulas, and everyone starts to sound the same• Here's the mindfuck: you're going to Instagram to find the idea that will make you stand out on Instagram• If you're consistently in the state of copying, you're always number twoStudying Content Isn't the Same as Copying It• Copying asks: what hook, what audio, what format, how long, what's on slide one• Studying the mechanics asks: why would someone care, what's happening culturally that makes this relevant, what makes someone send it to a friend• It's not about being a good student of content. It's about being really good at studying people• The trend isn't the problem, the copy-paste is. "Five things absolutely worth the money" was a fun trend. "Five inexpensive things I'll keep buying" rides it and stands outYour Material Is Not on Your Phone• The question Krysta asks clients to source ideas has nothing to do with social: what did you do this past weekend?• The cyclospora reel: a Slack thread with a client became a Bridesmaids bridal shop bit, "maybe you shouldn't eat a salad this weekend." Stupid viral, 30 new followers, and they laughed the entire time making it• The bar is lower than you think. She's made content out of her dog pooping on the carpet and turned it into a fat loss analogy• Three conversations about AI overheard in one coffee shop, AirPods out, gave her perspectives that don't exist inside the rectangle• The barrier to entry dropped, so the bar for taste, nuance, and actual opinion goes way upFix Tip of the WeekGo for a walk this week and raw dog it. No headphones, no podcast, no scrolling. Twenty minutes where your brain isn't processing another voice. Don't make it productive. Just take the walk. This Week's ExerciseFor the next seven days, when you sit down to generate content ideas, fight the urge to open Instagram first. Go to a client call recording, a Slack thread, texts with your friends, the news, something you overheard. Then DM Krysta the idea you found off your phone. No Such Thing of the WeekThere's no such thing as being number one if you copied your way there. You'll always be number two.Looking for more? Day 1,610.Today, as Ukraine expands its long-range strike campaign with fresh attacks on Russian logistics hubs and warehouses – including targets in St Petersburg – we examine the growing economic cost to Moscow as Kyiv intensifies its effort to disrupt supply chains and undermine Russia's war machine. We also explore why American political commentator and Donald Trump ally Laura Loomer has dramatically reversed her position on Ukraine after years of amplifying pro-Kremlin narratives, and what that shift could signal for Republican support for Kyiv. So you like watching TNG for some light entertainment? You are so out of luck this time because it's “Chain of Command, Part 2” on this all-new episode of ST:TNGeez, Not Another Star Trek Podcast, and it's coming at you right about … NOW!Last time on Star Trek: The Next Generation, our beloved Capt. Jean-Luc Picard was replaced as captain of the Enterprise by one Edward Jellico, a hard-ass, uncompromising martinet. Intent on turning the D into a warship, Jellico alienated the Hell out of our beloved crew with his exacting orders. His distinct lack of warmth got Number One's panties in a bunch, and it doesn't get better in this episode. Jellico and Riker's antipathy explodes when it's revealed our Jean-Luc is a prisoner of the Cardassians, and Jellico seems indifferent to Picard's plight! Picard was captured last episode when he, Bev, and Worf attempted to infiltrate a Cardassian base. Little did they know the whole mission was a trap set up to snare Picard! Back aboard the D, Data's the new Number One, and Riker is left pouting in his quarters. But as nasty as things are on the Enterprise, they're even nastier in Gul Madred's office where Jean-Luc faces one of his greatest battles. Will Picard have the will to withstand his captors? Will Data get used to that red uniform? Will Riker finally go be captain somewhere else? Find out in this all-new episode of ST:TNGeez, Not Another Star Trek Podcast!Even more available at: https://tngeez.com
On the night of 5 February 1973, just nine days after the Paris Peace Accords were signed, an NSA intercept reported that Group 210 was holding four “pirates” and moving them from kilometer location 44 to kilometer location 93 under the control of “Mr. Van,” while experiencing difficulties along the road.In this episode we examine the full body of evidence now surrounding that intercept. We identify Group 210 as the 210th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment, reinforced into the Division 471 sector during the 1972–73 dry season. We identify “Mr. Van” as Lieutenant Colonel Lương Khánh Vân, Political Officer of the 377th Air Defense Division and the officer responsible for POW handling in that sector. We show why kilometer location 44 correlates to the Tang Cat area under Binh Tram 35 control — the same sector where Baron 52 crashed — and why new testimony from a Binh Tram 35 truck driver who recalled operating from kilometer location 94 strengthens the intercept's terminal point. We also examine the consistent PAVN use of the terms “pirates,” “pirate pilots,” and “pilots” as standard slang for U.S. aircrew in the southern Laos corridor, and we explain the Vinh Window communications architecture that caused southern Laos traffic to appear in NSA collection with Vinh-area indicators. The 1971 Jack Butcher case is referenced as historical proof that the same collection system successfully tracked an American airman moving through the southern Laos Binh Tram network.Taken together, the evidence supports a high-probability reading that the four back-end crew members of Baron 52 — Sgt. Dale Brandenburg, Sgt. Peter R. Cressman, Sgt. Joseph A. Matejov, and SSgt. Todd M. Melton — survived the crash, were captured, and were moved alive through the Binh Tram 35 / Division 471 logistics network.Key Topics Covered:The core language of the REFNO 1983 interceptPAVN terminology: “pirates,” “pirate pilots,” and “pilots”Identification of Group 210 (210th AAA Regiment)Identification of “Mr. Van” (Lt. Send us Fan MailWhat if the biggest breakthrough in your marriage is waiting on the other side of real leadership at home? Ken and Tabitha Claytor sit down for a direct, honest conversation aimed at husbands, future husbands, and anyone who wants a healthier Christian marriage. We talk to the man who's doing his best and also to the man who's stuck, tired, isolated, or never had a model for what faithful, strong, tender love even looks like.We unpack why men need other men, why isolation quietly sabotages families, and how fatherhood and spiritual covering shape identity. Then we tackle the hot topic with clarity: biblical headship is responsibility, not control. It is not about value or power. It is about carrying the weight, listening well, choosing humility, and creating a home atmosphere that feels safe. We also challenge the “I pay the bills, I don't cheat” mindset and explain why a wife still may not feel seen, honored, desired, or emotionally secure. You'll hear practical marriage advice for men you can apply today: how to be emotionally present, protect her heart, serve in simple ways, pursue her again, and lead spiritually without turning it into performative religion. We close with a list of ten concrete ways to love your wife like Christ loves the church, plus a prayer for men to pick up their crown and lead with integrity. The greatest proof that God is real may be far simpler than most people expect. Zach recalls dismissing his mom's uncomplicated answer about seeing God in creation, only to hear one of the world's leading Christian philosophers give nearly the same response the very next day. Al, Christian, and John Luke join him to examine how nature, Scripture, reason, and faith work together to reveal who God is, why blind faith is not biblical faith, and how believers can keep growing beyond shallow social media theology. The guys laugh about Jase promising a 15-minute sermon when he's famously long-winded and come to the realization that announcing only the winner's first name could leave multiple Mirandas wondering if they're the winner of the 'Unashamed' studio visit giveaway. Big Sal is fired up this morning after staring at one number that has him out of his chair. While the entire football world obsesses over Caleb Williams taking a leap and Minnesota's spinning quarterback carousel, nobody is saying what needs to be said out loud: Have we even seen the best of Jordan Love yet? The cold, unsentimental tape from Pro Football Focus doesn't lie, and it tells the story of a quarterback who already made a definitive leap while riding a broken-down sled through a Wisconsin ditch. Jordan Love finished with an 88.7 PFF passing grade, good for third among all qualified NFL quarterbacks, with PFF themselves calling it a "definitive leap" The Packers started a league-high 27 different offensive players, with their most common offensive line combination playing together just 17.6% of snaps — dead last in football Key weapons disappeared for huge stretches: Jayden Reed played only seven games, Christian Watson missed the first six, and Tucker Kraft (leading all tight ends at 15.3 yards per catch) tore his ACL after eight games Despite the carnage, Love threw 27 touchdowns to just six interceptions, posted a passer rating over 100, and advanced metrics said this team had a top-three floor if they had simply stayed healthy This episode is brought to you by PrizePicks! [00:30] The Communist Infiltration of America Has Succeeded (55 minutes) The U.S. can only see one enemy at a time. As America's 250th birthday nears, Democratic Socialists and Communists are openly working to destroy the foundational tenets of our government. President Donald Trump attacks the radical left but cannot see the danger posed by remilitarized Germany or our deadly societal sins.

Episode 4164 │ June 30, 2026 After five and a half years, Dominion dropped its lawsuit against Mike Lindell. He's polling number one in Minnesota. WHAT THIS EPISODE COVERS Scott Kesterson sits down with Mike Lindell for a campaign update built around major news: Dominion Voting Systems dropped its five-and-a-half-year lawsuit against Lindell and My Pillow, a vindication that lands the same week LindellTV released 800 pages of documented election fraud evidence — covering proven vulnerabilities, the seven-and-a-half-year Georgia case where security researcher Alex Halderman hacked a Dominion machine live in a courtroom and flipped the results twice, and the broader case for the Save America Act, which polls show 80 percent of Americans including Democrats support. Lindell pushes back on ABC's coverage attacking him for distributing campaign pillows and copies of his autobiography at parades — explaining the campaign legally purchased the items from My Pillow at standard pricing — and details his Minnesota ground game: thousands of yard signs distributed through 67 senate district ambassador teams, a budget rollout within four weeks addressing Minnesota's highest-in-the-nation corporate and income tax rates, and a deer farming regulation story illustrating the regulatory burden driving businesses out of the state. The episode closes with Lindell recounting being told by President Trump that he is "the Patrick Henry of our lifetime" and a story about converting a skeptical gun control questioner at a mostly Democrat event through plain education on the difference between automatic and semi-automatic weapons. KEY QUESTIONS ADDRESSED Why did Dominion drop its lawsuit against Mike Lindell and My Pillow after five and a half years — and what does the 800 pages of evidence released the same week actually document? What happened in the seven-and-a-half-year Georgia voting machine case, and why did a security researcher hacking a Dominion machine live in a courtroom not result in a ruling against the machines? What are Lindell's specific solutions for Minnesota's highest-in-the-nation tax rates, regulatory burden, and welfare fraud — and how does his budget rollout differ from typical campaign promises? Episode 4152 │ June 20, 2026 Mike Lindell is polling five points ahead in Minnesota without a Trump endorsement. The machines failed at the convention. He says that's the point. WHAT THIS EPISODE COVERS Scott Kesterson sits down with Mike Lindell for a full campaign update — and the headline is an ABC-affiliated KSTP poll showing Lindell leading the Minnesota Republican primary at 27% against Lisa Damuth at 22%, without a presidential endorsement and despite being denied the delegate list, barred from most pre-convention forums, and publicly tagged as a "qualified with reservations" candidate by the Minnesota GOP establishment. Lindell walks through his ground operation — 67 senate district ambassadors, 1000s of yard signs being hand-delivered across the state, town halls and rallies running daily — and explains why social media reach of 9 million followers and 12 million email contacts have replaced the old TV ad model that kept establishment candidates funded and insulated. The conversation moves through the Minnesota GOP convention machine failure, the logic of withholding Trump's endorsement until after Lindell proves his merit with the people, a detailed plan for addressing homelessness through sorting — addiction treatment via Teen Challenge, mental health institutions, and jobs for the economically displaced — and the systematic suppression of election fraud evidence that Lindell argues both parties have participated in for years. KEY QUESTIONS ADDRESSED How is Lindell polling number one in Minnesota without a Trump endorsement, a delegate list, or access to most GOP forums — and what does the KSTP ABC poll result mean for the August 11 primary? What happened when the electronic clicker voting machines failed for three hours at the Duluth convention at the exact moment Lisa Damuth was losing — and why did the GOP then allow her to break the endorsement pledge she had made? What is Lindell's three-category plan for homelessness — and why does he argue that faith-based addiction treatment, restored mental health institutions, and city-funded jobs are the only approaches with a real return on investment?
