Damian served in the Air Force between roughly '96-'01. He had the amazing experience of being in the first crews to work on and maintain our Stealth Bomber before the public ever knew of its existence! How awesome!-From all generations of service men and women, there are experiences and lessons that should be discussed and shared. It was amazing to hear Damian's journey through life, what brought him into the service, what he learned while in, and what he took away and into his life afterwards. I hope that this segment resonants with all listeners! There were precious nuggets of wisdom dropped from Damian's stealth bomber, haha.

Like with the previous episode we Dipped into what Fats/ Lipids are, their good and bad sources, how they affect or absorb into the fatty and how we can eliminated the Saturated/Trans-Fats that we typically see in Western Diets/ Food Habits.
The quick down and dirty and gritty on why Carbs as a macronutrient is Key to utilize as a primary energy source for life. Carbs get labeled as bad or the reason for someone being fat/de-conditioned. The bigger reason may ben that someone is eating the wrong things in either in excess or not enough. When we don't eat enough our body goes into survival mode and will feed off the ready fuel sources (fat comes first at lower energy expenditure levels, aka fat burner mode). However this will be different than doing Intermittent fasting (save that for another episode). I.F. Yes your naturally in a deficit BUT you still need to be eating enough maintenance calories/macros when in the eating window
Sometimes we try to do too much and maybe we bite off more than we can chew. This can be a double-edged sword. It can swing and help us cut through adversity, or it can swing back and hurt us or those close to us. When working towards whatever our goals or priorities are we HAVE to find balance and know when it's time to cut some of the fat off. Just like fitness./health everything is a choice. It's on every individual to decide for themselves what they want. You want to lose weight, burn fat, get stronger, run faster, jump higher....than you need to do the work and work towards those goals as progressively and efficiently as possible. Don't waste your efforts; work hard, but work smart (or learn along the way)

After Discussing Individual identity and being aware of yourself and what you seek to be apart of; its only fitting that with the closing of this year we embark on the new year and what that can mean for your own personal development. We discuss Goal setting and self development to be the best you that you can.
Do you live for you, or do you live by the expectations of others? Are you willing to have someone else (not you) give you or put you into a identity category? Is your identity who you are, or what/who you want to be identified as?True freedom is finding for yourself who you are, what you stand for, and being unapologetic about those standards, morals, values you live by. I don't care about the color of your skin, your ancestral heritage, I can if you're a good person. We can learn so much from other people and cultures and those facets will define parts and pieces of our personal groundwork, but how we develop as an individual is a personal journey. Don't allow others to tell you who you are, you FIND who you are. Find what's makes you happy, sad, excited, passionate, committed. Demographics do not define Character
