The Appen Family was invited to give a presentation on the history of Appen Media Group and their take on the future of local news at their church, Alpharetta Presbyterian, which has been hosting a speaking series called Community Conversations. 

Carson sits down with Appen Media Group sports reporter and host of Overtime, Joe Parker to talk sports movies. Listen as Carson and Joe discuss what makes a compelling football flick, and play along as they quiz each other with sports and movie trivia.

On this edition of Overtime, Parker is joined by Appen Media Group intern and former Centennial lacrosse player Conner Evans and Nicky Solomon, a 2018 Centennial grad who holds the all-time high school record for points in lacrosse.  Solomon discusses his decision to play lacrosse, his time with the Knights and his future with the prolific North Carolina program.  Solomon also discusses serving as kicker for Centennial football in the 2017 season and being a preferred walk-on with the Tar Heels' football team. 

After taking a break with the GHSA over the summer, Overtime is back!
