Ukraine's President Zelensky recently presented his ‘Victory Plan' to end the war in Ukraine to both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, the two candidates competing to be the next President of the United States of America. President Zelensky's view is that if his plan is supported by Ukraine's allies, then the war could be ended by next year. But both US Presidential candidates, whilst in agreement that the war has to stop, have expressed a very different approach to how they would work towards that. And there are concerns from Ukraine that there will be a significant decrease in getting support in the future, regardless of who will be sitting in the White House. The United States is the top donor to Ukraine in terms of military, financial and humanitarian aid, but if their support did wane, it would mean Ukraine would have to become much more reliant on European backing. Whilst Europe has pledged much in terms of military support, it has yet to deliver everything it has promised. And there is the issue of Europe's political will and financial backing to fulfil its pledge. In light of this President Zelensky is hoping Europe too will be convinced by his ‘Victory Plan' and perhaps act as an insurance plan to keep the US focus on this war. So, on this week's Inquiry, we're asking ‘How might the next US President affect the war in Ukraine?' The gender gap continues to grow in American politics, contributing to the nation's partisan divide. The latest FOX News poll shows a 20-point difference between preferred candidates, with women favoring Vice President Kamala Harris and men favoring former President Donald Trump. Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley joined to discuss former President Trump's recent all-women town hall with FOX's Harris Faulkner and detailed their playbook for the last few weeks of the campaign. Vice President Kamala Harris' recent media appearances may seem scattered at first glance, with her interviews ranging from a sit down with Alex Cooper on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast to a heated exchange with FOX News Chief Political Correspondent Bret Baier on 'Special Report'. However, despite their differences, the Democratic presidential nominee's goal is the same with them all: winning over key demographics she'll need for an election victory. Democratic Strategist & former spokesperson for Secretary of State John Kerry, Marie Harf, weighs in on whether this strategy is effective with less than three weeks until Election Day. In the National Constitution Center in Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris will go head-to-head tonight in the ABC Presidential Debate simulcast on FOX News. This marks the first presidential debate between these two candidates, just a few months after the Biden-Trump debate that caused the election shake-up. The Vice President has spent several days in Pittsburgh preparing for the showdown and ramping up campaign stops in the swing state. Host of FOX's Media Buzz, Howie Kurtz, joins the Rundown to preview tonight's debate. Congress has returned from their summer recess, with a big issue already looming: funding of the federal government. House Republicans have proposed a bill that would fund the government through March 2024, but Democrats are pushing back on Republicans seeking to tie the funding bill to the SAVE Act. This proposal would bar noncitizens from voting in federal elections. Director of the Honest Elections Project Jason Snead joins the Rundown to discuss why he feels the bill is necessary to ensure election integrity and instances of local governments allowing noncitizens to vote in elections. Later, Democratic Strategist and FOX News Contributor Leslie Marshall joins to explain the Democrats' opposition to the bill. On Monday, President Joe Biden wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post, suggesting reforms to the Supreme Court that he says will restore the public faith in the institution. Among his ideas, Biden pitched establishing 18-year term limits for Justices and a new code of ethics for them to adhere to. Constitutional law expert, George Washington University professor, and FOX News contributor Jonathan Turley joins the podcast to discuss the President's reform proposals, why they will likely not pass through Congress, and if they do, why they'd ironically be tested before the Supreme Court. As Vice President Kamala Harris closes in on officially locking up the Democratic nomination, polls suggest she is gaining momentum. For months leading up to President Biden dropping out of the race earlier this month, former President Trump seemed to hold a steady lead over his opponent. Vice President Harris is seemingly catching up with the former president in key swing states. But will enthusiasm among Democrats hold, or is this what some call a "honeymoon bump"? Democratic Strategist and CEO of Schoen Cooperman Research, Carly Cooperman, joins the Rundown to discuss why Vice President Harris has been able to bring back Democratic base voters, what she needs to do on the campaign trail to keep momentum, and keys to what weaknesses may hold back the Vice President.
