More information here or email: information@advancesonline.com  Amy Weinstock is the Director of the Autism Insurance Resource Center at the University of Massachusetts Medical School’s Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center, and an instructor in the medical school’s Department of Psychiatry. She has an extensive background on insurance issues related to autism and has played a key role in passing several significant pieces of autism insurance legislation in Massachusetts, including the groundbreaking 2010 law requiring health insurance to cover medically necessary treatment for autism. Following a successful career in real estate and banking, Amy, the parent of a young adult on the autism spectrum, decided to merge her personal passions and professional experience. She completed a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) fellowship at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center in 2005, where she developed her Capstone project that served as the Blueprint for the 2010 law known as ARICA. Molly Ola Pinney is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Global Autism Project, a nonprofit organization that increases the capacity of local individuals working with children with autism worldwide. The Global Autism Project has grown to an organization that has served ten countries so far and is well on its way to achieving its goal of establishing centers of excellence in 20 countries by year 2020. She has been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades for her work, including the Comcast NBC Universal award, the Autism Light Foundation award as well as given the opportunity to ring the NASDAQ bell alongside her staff in 2012. Debora L. Smith spent more than two decades in marketing and communications before she merged that expertise with the experience she gained raising a son with autism spectrum disorder. Nearly six years ago she founded Autism Resource Mom—a nonprofit organization that provides support, guidance and hope to families of individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Debora has been actively involved with the autism community in Orange County, CA, for two decades, serving in various positions.  If she’s not at a conference picking up new skills, she’s sharing what she’s learned through speaking engagements and her own instructive workshops. Passionate about helping individuals with challenging behaviors, she has studied and received Tier 1 Training in the Collaborative Problem Solving Approach—and is in the process of becoming a “Certified THINK:KIDS Mentor.” Debora lives in Orange County, California, with her husband, Mike, and together they are learning to come to grips with being empty-nesters.
