Vor ein paar Wochen war es mal wieder soweit. Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ), DAS Speedrun-Event aus den USA, hat erneut mehrere Millionen Dollar für einen guten Zweck gesammelt. Mittlerweile 10 Jahre in Folge treffen sich Runner aus aller Welt und versuchen ihre Spiele möglichst schnell zu spielen. Doch wie schafft es ein so nerdiges und nieschieges Thema eigentlich jedes Jahr größer zu werden. Was gehört eigentlich dazu ein Spiel zu speedrunnen? Für mich sind Speedruns seit ein paar Jahren Herzensangelegenheit und Leidenschaft und zum Glück geht es der lieben Anne (@bambiinupendi / twitch.com/kyloanne) genauso. Deswegen haben wir uns zusammengesetzt und versucht mal in Worte zu fassen, was für uns die Faszination ausmacht. Gotta Listen Fast! Richtigstellung: Als wir über Super Mario 64 reden, nenne ich wiederholt die Technik "LBJ" (Long Back Jump). Sie heißt allerdings "BLJ" (Backwards Long Jump), was auch viel mehr Sinn macht.
