What does a Super Bowl win for Sam Darnold mean? How long did we spend talking about Darnold to the Steelers last offseason? It was fair to question if Darnold would flourish in Pittsburgh under Mike Tomlin and the shackles he's known to putting on the offense. But Tomlin is gone and Mike McCarthy is in. Does that give you faith the Steelers can find a reclamation project and reach the big game? Out of the names on the market, who can McCarthy thrive with? Is Malik Willis the frontrunner in this argument? What about Kyler Murray? Is there anyone else that tickles your fancy? Will there be another Sam Darnold in 2026? The first two callers suggested Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow being traded to the Steelers. Bucco Minute – The geeks love the Pirates in 2026. Fangraphs has their win projection at 82.8 – second in the NL Central. Their projection also has them as the 6th best team in the National League.

Former MLB pitcher Matt Clement joined the show. Matt's take to the Pirates not getting Eugenio Suarez is that the team will be pushed to bring up Konnor Griffin faster. He thinks the familiarity Suarez has in Cincy is likely why he chose them over the Pirates. Matt likes the effort from the Pirates in the offseason, but said they still have to make it more desirable to outside free agents. Matt believes Mitch Keller is definitely off the board right now. Will the Pirates have a backup plan and could that be Marcell Ozuna? The Andrew McCutchen reunion might be over. Does Matt think Limits would hit a major league pitch?
