We wondered how all of this escalated and what is going on with the fan, Ryan Kennedy, who targeted Metcalf in the heckling incident that resulted in Metcalf throwing a punch. How messy is this going to get? BREAKING: The Pirates have signed Ryan O'Hearn to a 2-year deal. Ben Cherington is starting to make things happen. Can you believe it? How are we feeling? Jeremy Conn from The Big Bad Morning Show in Baltimore joined the show. Jeremy told the guys what the Pirates are getting in Ryan O'Hearn. He described him as a ‘great' clubhouse guy and someone fans will love against right-handed pitching. Looking at a few of the grades that have come out on the grade. There is more than surface level. Baseball Trade Values says that the Pirates and Astros overpaid for what they got. The only team that looks good in this scenario is apparently the Rays.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are alive and well in the offseason as they traded for Brandon Lowe and two other players for Mike Burrows. That is it. They have their best hitter now for just Mike Burrows. Is there anything that we are missing?

Ray said it doesn't look like Nick Herbig will play Sunday in Detroit, so Jack Sawyer is facing his first NFL start. Ray does take positives out of what the offense has looked like in the last 2 games – sighting the addition of the veteran receivers. Zach Frazier popped up on the injury report today, which would require the offensive line to really shuffle around. Ray doesn't think it's fair to guess about the feelings of TJ Watt based on what JJ Watt says on television about the lung situation. Do we know if Isaac Seumalo will play on Sunday? Ray was confident saying that the dynamic at receiver will stay the same way the rest of the season and hopes it provides a good mentorship for Roman Wilson. Ray can't pick the Steelers to pull the upset, but thinks they can make it a good game. PM Team Professors.
The Steelers are 7-point underdogs in Detroit this Sunday. Is that disrespectful? The Lions have some impressive W's on the season. The Steelers do too. Even with the Lions currently outside looking in to the NFC playoffs, are they one of the best teams in football? The Lions are a good team, but the defense is having a rough season. Can the Steelers stay in this game or even win it? Is Aaron Rodgers playing well enough to keep them in it? Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve wouldn't say the Steelers have ‘no chance' on Sunday in Detroit, but he likes the Lions in the game. Is Aaron Rodgers playing close to a Matt Stafford level? Steve doesn't think the Lions defense is as bad as Poni thinks. Steve said Aidan Hutchinson will be a problem on Sunday. Steve said the interior of the offensive line is where the Steelers can attack on Sunday because that has been an injury-riddled group for the Lions, but he still expects the Detroit offense to be tough to stop. The Vegas sharks are expecting 50+ points in the game and Steve thinks that will happen. Chris shared that he wants to see Myles Garrett break the all-time sack record against the Steelers. Poni thinks the Steelers should not be apologizing for checking off the first box to a successful year – doing something they haven't done since 2020. To no huge surprise, Chris said the division title would mostly come with an asterisk because the Ravens and Bengals dealt with QB injuries.
