Greg said it's already hard to tell if there is another pitcher in Pirates history more dominant than Skenes. Greg said the division crown is still a goal, but it only takes the team being a little better than average to be in a playoff spot. Greg said it takes a legitimate starting SS and/or 3B to feel serious about next season. The Seahawks did a good job taking DK Metcalf out of the game yesterday. Mullsy does not think that Mike Tomlin will win another playoff game with the Steelers. The Steelers gave up a touchdown run on 3rd and goal from the 19 yesterday. Poni thinks that Walker wasn't even touched on this play. Callers talk about the game. 9-12 PM Team 5pm Hour: Steelers-Seahawks low spread, Jenn Mueller, and The Hodgepodge of Nothingness

Potential Mullsy relative Jenn Mueller, sideline reporter for the Seahawks, joins to talk about the game. What are the thoughts of DK Metcalf's first game against the Seahawks? She says there is no bad blood on the Seattle side towards DK. She says that there will probably be some chippiness, but nothing more than that.

Mark Kaboly joins the show for the 4pm hour to review the Steelers win against the Jets, preview the game against the Seahawks, and answer if the Steelers are interested in Tyreek Hill.

9-12 PM Team 3pm Hour: DK Metcalf against his old team, Bryant McFadden, and The Donny Football Debrief

Pitt and WVU have extended The Backyard Brawl a few years. It will take a break after this weekends matchup but stay for longer when it comes back.

Bryant McFadden joins the show. He has faith that Broderick Jones will get it together and have a better game this Sunday. He thinks that PFF is dead wrong and Rodgers looked great. The eye test was passed with flying colors for Rodgers. What will the Steelers do at corner with Joey Porter Jr. seemingly not playing?

DK Metcalf will be playing against his old team. There does not seem to be any drama there unlike Rodgers coming back and facing the Jets. He says that this is just another game for him.

Fair Game with Farabaugh: what is fair to say will happen against the Seahawks and what is not fair? Will Broderick Jones play better this weekend?

Aaron Rodgers will play in Pittsburgh for the first time as a Steeler. Chris says that he is excited to see Rodgers for the first time at Acrisure. He also predicts that Rodgers will get the biggest reaction if they do individual introductions. Even though they had a great performance offensively against the Jets, it is not a sure thing that it will happen against the Seahawks this weekend. Poni points out that Rodgers has never won a game at Acrisure Stadium. That will obviously change this season. Poni is not as excited as Mullsy.

Ray isn't sure we see a lot of Jabrill Peppers on Sunday since he will only be with the team for a few days. Ray said there is not a ton of panic inside the building about Broderick Jones through the first game of 2025, but Ray has his own concerns. Ray had his own way of demonstrating how bad the Steelers defense has been against the run over the last few years. The guys asked Ray about the offensive breakdown and how much we see of the 3 tight ends on Sunday. How much faith do the Steelers have in Roman Wilson? Ray thinks the Steelers would let Chris Boswell try a 63-yard FG if the game was on the line. Ray likes the Steelers on Sunday and said DK Metcalf will have a revenge game. Judge Donny.

Steve shared his thoughts on the Steelers offense on Sunday, a 34-point outburst. He said everything went Rodgers' way in the win over the Jets. Steve said people in Pittsburgh should be excited about the offense. Steve questioned the Jets' back end on defense, but credited their front. Teryl Austin said the Steelers defense just didn't play well enough on Sunday against the Jets, the 34-32 win. The issue is that he acted as if that game was a one-off and not a regular occurrence, which is what it is turning into. They have given up roughly 27 points per game in their last 9 games – a number that would rank 30th in the league based on last year's numbers. The Steelers had a strong defensive mind like Brian Flores in their building a few years ago, but they kept Austin over him. Why is it so hard to figure out how much power Mike Tomlin has over the defense? Austin also said Yahya Black will play more against the Seahawks than we saw against the Jets. KDKA TV's Bob Pompeani joined the show. Where does Bob come down on Tyreek Hill and the possibility he comes to Pittsburgh? Bob is worried about the off-the-field issues Hill seems to always find himself in. Bob was impressed by the offense in the Week 1 win, but has concerns over Roman Wilson and Darnell Washington in the offense.
