Steelers correspondent Mark Kaboly from The Pat McAfee Show joined the show. The discussion began around food and what Mark would eat every day for the rest of his life. He decided on pizza, agreeing with Donny. This all stemmed from Sidney Crosby saying he would eat pasta every day. Mark talked about the debate that has been ongoing this week after Joey Porter slammed Ben Roethlisberger for being a bad teammate. Kaboom said from 2004-2010, ‘you couldn't find a bigger jerk,' but he does believe Ben changed as he matured. Mark shared a story that involved Jason Bay, who won Rookie of the Year in baseball the same year as Ben in football. Did Porter throw more shade at James Harrison than he did at Big Ben? The guys wondered if there would be retribution from Deebo or Ben back at Peezy. More w/ Mark – We are starting to see more and more mock drafts with the Steelers taking Ty Simpson. How extensive will the homework be on QBs? How much money is Mark willing to pay Malik Willis? More w/ Mark – Mark thinks there is a better chance Patrick Queen gets an extension than him getting released. Mark said everyone feels up in the air with the new coaching staff. The guys ran through some pending free agents and if Mark believes they will be back in Pittsburgh. Mark would rather bring back Asante Samuel than James Pierre. Mark expects Joey Porter Jr. to get an ‘easy' $20M/year deal. Is the football future of Broderick Jones in question? Mark laughed at the idea of Nick Herbig being traded for a backup QB. Mark questioned how enamored the Steelers are with Will Howard because he hasn't played a snap. Mark can't believe people still read books.

February 11, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 92 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the recent comments that Joey Porter Sr. made about Ben Roethlisberger and his team leadership to Cameron Heyward during an interview on the latest episode of the “Not Just Football" podcast. We also discuss what Heyward had to say about his recent animated gif tweet during the recent episode of his podcast that seemingly created quite a stir. With the recent drama-related news tied to the Pittsburgh Steelers talked about, Alex and I then go over the 2026 contract situation related to veteran DB Jalen Ramsey. We discuss how March 13 is a key date when it comes to Ramsey's 2026 future with the Steelers. We also discuss the variances in Ramsey's expected 2026 salary cap charge. Alex and I also go over our thoughts on whether Ramsey is worth $19.5 million in cash in 2026 and whether the team should prorate his August option bonus amount of $7.4 million, assuming he remains under contract until then. In the middle of this Wednesday show, Alex and I are joined by our 2026 college all-star week attendees, Ross McCorkle, Joe Clark, Josh Carney, and Melanie Friedlander, for a roundtable session. The six of us have our annual roundtable discussion about what was observed from various draft prospects during the weeks of the Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl. We discuss several different position groups and players during this roughly 70-minute discussion. If not already doing do, please make sure to follow Ross, Joe, Josh, and Melanie on Twitter/X at the provided account links. After Alex and I finish our 2026 college all-star week discussion, we answer a few emails that were sent to us by listeners of the show. This 122-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the above recap. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

What are other notable Steelers saying about Joey Porter bashing Ben Roethlisberger? Not much. A few players responded to the Instagram post, but none of them want to say more about it. Poni is upset that guys that won a Super Bowl together are taking shots at each other well after their playing days. Chris has issues with both guys – could he be the great unifier? 93.7 The Fan Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. Jeff is surprised that Joey Porter called out Ben Roethlisberger because they won a Super Bowl together. Jeff pointed out the reaction these guys get when they come back to ceremonies and such at Acrisure Stadium. Jeff said the Team MVP voting is the most critical sign that the guys didn't care for Ben as a teammate. A discussion took place on the merits of natural talent. Judge Donny – Should Konnor Griffin be on the Pirates Opening Day roster?
Mason Rudolph picked his side in the Joey Porter vs Ben Roethlisberger battle, and it's not much of a surprise to know he was happy to hear Porter go on and on after #7. Their relationship was notably sour and The Fan may have had some impact in it going down that road. Peezy also took shots at James Harrison, and the guys aren't convinced Harrison will take the high road on this. Executive Chef Michael Campbell from Le Mont joined the show. Le Mont catered some food in the office today and Michael ran the guys through what they had to offer. Mullsy, a self-aspiring chef, had some questions. We then got back into the ongoing battle between Ben Roethlisberger and Joey Porter. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike doesn't think there will be a hard deadline on the Steelers waiting on Aaron Rodgers like some local media have claimed. Is there anywhere else Rodgers will go? Mike believes if Rodgers does play in 2026, this year will absolutely be it. Mike thinks Rodgers should be the Philip Rivers of 2026 and wait around for a contending team that needs a QB. Mike feels like the Steelers drafting a QB in the '26 Draft would tell us more about Will Howard than Rodgers. Mike said it does surprise him a little bit that the Steelers wouldn't want to know about Rodgers by the time free agency begins. He thinks old options like Kirk Cousins or Joe Flacco could get the phone call, but how far could the Steelers really go with those guys? Mike weighed in on the war of words started by Joey Porter in the direction of Ben Roethlisberger. Mike thinks things changed a little bit with Ben after he was suspended in 2010, but is not surprised to hear something like this. Will stuff like this cost Big Ben a shot at being a first ballot Hall of Famer? Mike thinks it may take Ben some time to get to the HOF, but he should get in before Eli Manning. Mike got into the logjam that tends to be created when it comes to HOF entry. How was Mike's flight back to Pittsburgh from the Super Bowl?
A Steelers family feud took up the top story today – Joey Porter Sr. vs Ben Roethlisberger. Peezy was on the podcast hosted by Cam Heyward and took big shots at Big Ben – calling him a bad teammate and a bad person. Was this news to anyone? The guys took sides of the debate. Is Porter the right messenger for this? We have also noticed multiple current and former Steelers taking Porter's side of the fray. Does Ben Roethlisberger pass the ‘good guy' test? Were the comments a low blow from Joey Porter? Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. TK sat on the fence when he was asked about which country he was rooting for between the US and Canada. Tyler told the guys he took and passed his US citizenship test and mentioned a few of the questions on there. Tyler thinks Canada is the most-talented team in the Olympics and broke down what the United States squad looks like.

On this episode of the Talkin' Crazy Podcast, Meech sits down once again with Peezy for a raw, unfiltered conversation about the heartbreak and pressure of recruiting duty — and why quitting has become celebrated instead of challenged. From buying poolees food and clothes, to teaching them math, to missing dinner with their own families just to invest in kids who later quit, recruiters carry burdens most Marines will never understand. Meech and Peezy expose the reality behind the uniform: the pain of discharges, the lack of empathy in the ranks, and the toxic culture of Marines publicly tearing each other down instead of lifting each other up.This isn't just about recruiting — it's about accountability, leadership, and a generation that confuses adversity with failure. But this conversation isn't just about social media disappearing—it's about what it revealed.
