JPJ has received public support from his teammates. Mike McCarthy was not happy with so many JPJ questions. Mark says McCarthy does not like to be questioned about injuries. He is an NFL Head Coach. Jamel Dean is questionable along with Michael Pittman Jr, Jaylen Warren, and JPJ. Rico Dowdle is the only player ruled out. Mark didn't read Aaron Rodgers' comments as a shot at Mike McCarthy or throwing him under the bus. Mark isn't sure if there is any beef between the two since he is not in the locker room. Poni brings up each time Rodgers has contradicted McCarthy after McCarthy speaks. They seem to be passive aggressive darts. Kaboly grades Callas' rap. A different approach to the rap this week. Poni grades it as a D+ and a "filler song" on an album. Mark actually likes it and grades it a B. This might be Callas' St. Anger. Upon further review, it is catchy. Mark reacts to the 'Tomlin Hangover' report. Mark confirms that all Tomlin quotes that were displayed are completely gone. Mark says "I was wrong about the Pirates, but I am going to take a victory lap for it" regarding them finishing with 81+ wins.

Bryant McFadden joins the show. What does he think, as a fellow cornerback, of the JPJ situation? BMac started to laugh when the guys brought up Cooper Rush as the Falcons' starting quarterback. He has the Steelers finishing 11-6, winning the AFC North, and finally winning a playoff game.

How many times will the Steelers have the quarterback advantage throughout the season? Joe counts seven times they have the clear advantage. That does not bode well for a team aiming to make the Super Bowl.

Mike DeFabo joins the show! Mike's big question of the week is the contract situation and status of Joey Porter Jr. Mike thinks he will still play, but it will be interesting to see if the Steelers and JPJ sign at the last minute. If JPJ sits out this season, fan perception will not be kind to him which makes Mike think JPJ will play. Dylan Cook will probably start this week instead of Max Iheanachor. Mike says we will see IMax either in week two or week three of the season.

John Wehner joins the show! John wonders why Starkey is on the Morning Show but realizes that it is Labor Day and the schedule is different. The Pirates are five games out. Do they actually have a chance? Wehner says that it is absolutely doable for the Pirates to make it but they just need a lot of teams in front of them to fall.

Breaking News: Tua Tagovailoa is going to be the starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons for week one against the Steelers this Sunday. Joe tries to name the last 6 starting quarterbacks the Falcons have had in the last six years.

Who would you rather build your franchise around: Drew Allar, Will Howard, or Mason Heintschel? Heintschel had a great day at the office on Saturday against Miami(OH). Depending on how the rest of the year goes, Heintschel looks like he has the "it" factor. What would it take for Heintschel to be viewed as a first round pick? Joe said that he would take Heintschel over the other two.

Joe wants Trinidad Chambliss to be the next Steelers quarterback. The Steelers open the season against the Atlanta Falcons. Joe wonders why Kevin Stefanski went to the Falcons to oversee a quarterback room featuring Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa. ESPN ranks the Steelers 21st in the league with less than a 40% chance of making the playoffs. The Steelers are still acting like a Super Bowl contender. Who is closer to the truth: the Steelers or ESPN?

Reece Davis had some interesting things to say about the current state of college athletics, specifically regarding the LSU Tigers bringing back former college athletes who went to the NFL. LSU beat Clemson with now professional athletes. Joe rants about the SEC "taking a stand" on this.

Joe says that if Western Michigan had been on offense, they would not have gotten a second play. Joe is confused about how one clock was different and why nothing was synched up.
