Ray doesn't think Cam Heyward will get a new deal and the Steelers don't want to set a precedent that players can negotiate with more than a year left. Doug Whaley thinks Cam Heyward's reps didn't do a good enough job of working on Cam's contract. Micah Parsons seems miserable at Cowboys practice. Not many changes on the Steelers depth chart.

Kaleb Johnson hasn't shown much burst and we are concerned he could be like Najee.

Hour 4 with Joe Starkey and Tyler Kennedy: Sidney Crosby pulled TK aside after a game when Sid wanted the puck in the last five min and Crosby had a personable, good conversation that stuck with him. TK thinks Marc-Andre Fleury is the most athletic goaltender he's seen. "There's no better town in the USA to be a sports athlete than Pittsburgh." It's been very quiet with the Penguins.

It's been very quiet with the Penguins. TK thinks Gavin McKenna is "a game changer." But it would be a rough season if the Penguins get rid of Bryan Rust or Rickard Rakell. Kyle Dubas thinks Evgeni Malkin might be the most underrated player in NHL history. 

TK shares how Evgeni Malkin fought Craig Adams at practice. Sidney Crosby pulled TK aside after a game when Sid wanted the puck in the last five minutes and Crosby had a personable, good conversation that stuck with him. "There's no better town in the USA to be a sports athlete than Pittsburgh."

John in Mars thinks the Steelers should cut Connor Heyward to send a message to Cam. Anthony in Oakland thinks the Steelers can take money back from Cam Heyward if he doesn't play because of the deal. The Steelers running game is a question this season.
