Ron Everhart joins the show! Joe and Ron discuss their pick of Arkansas to win it all. Arkansas was blown out by Arizona last night. Ron discusses what he saw in the Razorbacks' loss to the Wildcats, including something he's never witnessed in his decades covering basketball. Ron says that Rick Pitino is the best college basketball coach of all time. He thinks that Duke should be on upset alert against St. John's.

Joe recounts last season's opener where Cruz made mistakes in centerfield. Someone named Shriver calls in and proposes an Oneil Cruz sunglasses night at PNC Park. Joe learns the inventor of the Crock-Pot also had the last name Shriver. We listen to Don Kelly's comments after yesterday's loss.

Joe is very excited to talk about baseball today. Oneil Cruz cost the Pirates the game yesterday.

Ray Fittipaldo joins the show! Aaron Rodgers apparently wants more money. Ray says that he has not heard that specifically but pointed out that Rodgers made it prevalent that the Steelers have not made an offer yet. Ray says that the Steelers could be interested in trading for more picks in next years draft because they do not have a franchise quarterback yet. Next year's quarterback draft class is what this year's should have been. What will the Steelers do with Jalen Ramsey? Ray says this is a safety-heavy draft and wouldn't be surprised to see the Steelers draft a safety.

Tyler Kennedy full hour with Pomp and Joe

Tyler was at the Mario Lemieux fantasy camp for the last few days. He is a little sluggish today. Tyler tells us some stories from the fantasy camp, at least ones that are safe for air. Who has worn the number 49 for the Penguins?

The Penguins won a massive game in a shootout last night against the Ottawa Senators. Tyler Kennedy joins Joe in studio to recap last night's big win. Ben Kindel scored the game-winning goal in the shootout. At just 18 years old, Kindel has been a bright spot for the Pens this year. Among 18-year-olds, he is behind only Jordin Staal, Sidney Crosby, and Jaromir Jagr for goals in franchise history. If Kindel scores two more goals, he will pass Jaromir Jagr. Should the Penguins stop rotating Arturs Silovs and Stuart Skinner? Who should be the one to take the reigns as the true starter heading into the playoffs? With Sidney Crosby leaving the game last night, Joe asks if the Olympics were really worth it? Tyler says from the business side it is not worth it, but to the players it absolutely is. Linus Ullmark is not a fan of the shootouts.

Charlie Batch said he knows Aaron Rodgers wants more money from the Steelers than $13 million that he earned last year. Bob thinks it should go up, but this might be a sticking point! Bob thinks it might be around $20 million.

Hour 3 with Bob Pompeani, Joe Starkey, and Matt Clement: Matt picked the Pirates to win 87 games this season. He thinks the bullpen is underrated. Matt thinks Mitch Keller is being slept on and that's when big seasons happen. Matt thinks Braxton Ashcraft is going to have a great season. Drafting the best Pirates hitters from the 21st century.

Hour 4 with Bob Pompeani and Joe Starkey: It was reported that Omar Khan and Mike McCarthy would be at Ohio State's Pro Day, but Nick doesn't see them. Carnell Tate has had a solid day and looks "effortless" in some workout drills. Konnor Griffin didn't hit well enough against the fastball and Griffin needs to get back to being himself at the plate. Could be sooner than later. He talked to Griffin yesterday and Griffin said the Pirates didn't tell him much.
