The second remixer/producer in this limited 'Best Of' series is Wayne G. I can't remember exactly when I first met Wayne. I have a feeling it was back in the late 90's at either a Mardi Gras party or when he was guest DJ'ing at ARQ or The Midnight Shift in Sydney. I do remember hearing him play for the first time and making my way to the DJ booth to introduce myself (naturally). Like most of the big name international DJ/producers I have met, Wayne was very down to earth and friendly. As was the case with Division 4, it is impossible to do a best of Wayne's remixes in one episode. His style of producing has evolved so much over the years. From his early days at mega clubs like Heaven in London playing happy and hard house to his Atlantis anthems for the leisure cruise ship in the Mediterranean to his Throwback anthem/funky house sound at San Diego's Zoo Party and White Party Palm Springs and his many memorable appearances at Mardi Gras and Harbour Party here in Sydney. Wayne has mixed for some of the biggest names in the music industry and has had long established collaborations with other producers such as Andy Allder, Porl Young, Leo Frapper (LFB), Jon M. and Club Junkies. This set features some of his uplifting, house and club anthems but is only a fraction of his amazing body of work. Check him out on Soundcloud & Facebook etc and show him some love. In the meantime here is a selection of some of his best remixes. EnjoyAnthony1/ "G.U.Y" - LADY GAGA2/ "RESPECT" - WAYNE G. ft. SHAUNA JENSEN3/ "HOLD MY HAND" - JESS GLYNNE4/ "TONIGHT I'M GETTING OVER YOU" - CARLY RAE JEPSEN5/ "WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME" - SAMANTHA JADE6/ "DON'T MAKE ME WAIT" - 7th HEAVEN ft. Here it is, my LAST Podcast for 2018, This particular Poddy has some great new tunes, classic tunes and "Rejigs" that has made my year and will make it even bigger. "Rejig" implies adding to a track or remix that I felt needed extra or given a full vocal treatment, I have added two particular rejigs, the first one is me giving Fonzerelli's "Angel" bootleg a full Vox treatment by adding the full Madonna "Angel" vocal into it, the second is an Exclusive from me with using Matt Pop's "Fernando" version and adding Cher's version of "Fernando". Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the mixes I have added including Rip City, Kue, Until Dawn, Stormy, 7th Heaven, Division 4 & Matt Consola, Club Junkies, Danny Verde, Toy Armada and DJ Grind, Joe Gauthreaux & Leanh, Guy Scheiman and classic remixes by Wideboys and Lenny B.

Here's my New and Improved Wild Pop Podcast from me and the theme is as you can see called "HEROES". I have given my Mashup's a bit of a break because there have been some fantastic remixes across the board from everyone from Thin White Duke (Stuart Price) to Adam Turner to 7th Heaven to the classic Almighty & Club Junkies to the guys that are killing it right now DJ Grind and Toy Armada who have been given a Double Back to Back in this set to celebrate U.S.A's triumphant decision to give Full Marriage Equality to all States. I have thoroughly enjoyed making this podcast and the tracks that are on it and to play songs that have a great meaning like "Heroe" and "Invincible" then making it a bit Dirty with another great new track "Teacher" and "Ghosttown". Hope you enjoy it cause "We Are The Heroe's Of Our Time"

Recently, I was criticized for using a title to my blog that has long been associated with drug use.  What these individuals do not know is the story behind "Party Favorz" which was coined by friends upon my arrival at after-hours parties in South Texas where I grew up.  Since I was a kid, I was always the one looked to, to provide the entertainment at parties.  My love for all music continued into my adult life with a preference for house music, disco and all other forms of dance music.  When I would show up at these after-hours parties, I was always asked if I brought any "party favors" with me.  That reference was to cool dance music that would be played in the background at these late-night gatherings.  The name stuck and that's what I have been calling my mixes since 1999.  To lessen the confusion, I even have a 'description' of this site in the left-hand column that always seems to get lost on the haters or at the very least ignored: Party Favorz is a series of mainstream/circuit club mixes that I started making for friends in 1999. Over the years, the mixes evolved into my own special blend of electro-pop and happy house. In 2007, at the urging of friends, I decided to take everything online and the Party Favorz blog was born. Whether you're gay, straight, black, white, pink or purple, Party Favorz knows no boundaries and everyone IS welcome here. Comments and suggestions are always appreciated; in fact they are encouraged. Regardless of the play on words, Party Favorz does not promote nor endorse the use of drugs. Frankly, house music is the only drug your body needs to have a good time. Live, Work, Play and Dance...just do it responsibly. Now on to the music! Additionally, my followers have also been criticized for being uneducated "party boys" who lived for the circuit and drug use.  That could be further from the truth.  While I don't personally know everyone that follows this site, many of them are professionals from doctors, nurses, lawyers, graphic designers, trainers, and educators.  To make a generalized statement about people who like to go out on weekends, dance, unwind and just have fun is a misnomer.  They are everyday people from all walks of life who are able to balance their professional lives with their private lives.  Whatever happens after the leopard spots from the disco ball fades, is no one's business but theirs.  For all the haters, I suggest you worry about cleaning your own backyard before worrying about your neighbors. -Dedicated to a couple of asswipes from San Francisco As we move through this series, you might notice a large amount of these songs have been re-worked by a production group called "Almighty" a record label out of the UK, which consists of DJ Andy Almighty, who is also a part of the production teams "7th Heaven" and "Club Junkies."  He also works closely with some of the dance industry's biggest talents like  "Soulshaker" and "Bassmonkeys" and a slew of other big-name producers like "Cahill" "Stonebridge" "Soul Seekerz" "Jason Nevins" "Moto Blanco" and "Wideboys"; many of whose works are prominently featured throughout these four sets.  DJ Andy Almighty's bio on his MySpace Page states that he is a "DJ/club promoter, producer/remixer, dance music industry guru and gay scene legend!"  I would take it a step further and suggest he is a gay icon, right up there with Madonna. 2009 marks the 20th anniversary of Almighty Records, a feat that's practically unheard of in the dance music industry.  They are celebrating this marked occasion with their "Essentials" collection which debuts one new release each month.  The gay community is blessed with the great efforts of DJ Andy Almighty and his organization for breathing life into these timeless classics and opening them up to an entirely new generation of club-goers.  For that, we are most humbled and entirely in your indebtedness for making our lives that much richer.
