Fáilte ar ais chuig eagrán nua de Ar An Lá Seo ar an 17ú lá de mí Iúil, liomsa Lauren Ní Loingsigh. I 1981 cuireadh cúpla sheirbhísí bhus ar ceall I gcúpla áit de bharr go raibh easaontas ag dul ar aghaidh I CIE. I 1987 tháinig an nuacht amach go mbeadh 1,400 oifig an phoist chun seirbhísí bainc a cur ar fáil. I 1971 d'oscail eastát tithíochta nua I gCill Rois agus bhí gach duine a bhí ina chónaí ann sásta faoi. I 1981 fuair cúig dhuine bás I dtimpiste an tseachtain roimhe sa chontae, agus bhí ceithre nduine, daoine óga. Sin The Specials le Ghost Town – an t-amhrán is mó ar an lá seo I 1981. Ag lean ar aghaidh le nuacht cheoil ar an lá seo I 1975 chan Bob Marley agus The Wailers a chéad oíche sa Lyceum I Londain agus rinne siad thaifead ar don albam beo agus bhí an t-amhrán No Woman No Cry air. I 1995 d'fhág Robbie Williams Take That. Nuair a bhí sé sa bhanna ceoil fuair siad 6 uimhir a haon agus dhá albam a shroich uimhir a haon. Chuaigh Robbie Williams ar aghaidh agus fuair sé seacht n-uimhir a haon sa Bhreatain agus shroich sé uimhir a haon le gach albam seachas ceann amháin. Agus ar deireadh breithlá daoine cáiliúla ar an lá seo rugadh aisteoir David Hasselhoff I Meiriceá I 1952 agus rugadh amhránaí Tom Fletcher sa Bhreatain ar an lá seo I 1985 agus seo chuid de amhrán. Beidh mé ar ais libh amárach le heagrán nua de Ar An Lá Seo. Welcome back to another edition of Ar An Lá Seo on the 17th of July, with me Lauren Ní Loingsigh 1981: bus services in provinces were cancelled in CIE dispute. 1987: 1,400 post offices were to offer banking services. 1971: New housing estates were welcomed in Kilrush. 1981: five people died in clare accident last week, 4 of them being young. That was The Specials with Ghost Town – the biggest song on this day in 1981. Onto music news on this day In 1975 Bob Marley and the Wailers played the first of two nights at The Lyceum, London, and both nights were recorded for the November released 'live' album, featuring the single 'No Woman No Cry.' 1995 Robbie Williams left British Boy Band Take That. The group had scored six UK No.1 singles and two No.1 albums with Robbie in the group. As a solo artist Williams went on to score seven UK No. 1 singles, and all but one of his 14 studio albums reached No. 1 in the UK. And finally celebrity birthdays on this day – actor David Hasselhoff was born in America in 1952 and singer Tom Fletcher was born in the UK on this day in 1985 and this is one of his songs. I'll be back with you tomorrow with another edition of Ar An Lá Seo.

They lay out their best advice for first-time feature directors — from picking department heads to making sure your movie actually gets seen — and look at how to adapt Craig's “How to Write a Movie” for structuring a TV series. But that's not all! Do you owe your writer's group access to your contacts? How do you break out of the mailroom? Where should high-school students start? How far can adaptations stray from the source material? And how do you remain professional in the middle of a dumpster fire? Nestled in the unforgiving Skull Valley, Utah, the ghost town of Iosepa tells an incredible story of perseverance, faith, and resilience. In the late 19th century, a group of Polynesian pioneers left the lush landscapes of Hawai'i to build a new life in the western desert. Against all odds, they thrived, creating a community that once won Utah's award for best-kept town. But by 1917, Iosepa was abandoned. What led to its demise? Why did these settlers leave behind everything they built? And what remains of Iosepa today? Join us on Twisted Tales by Profiling Evil as we uncover the forgotten history of Iosepa, a once-thriving Polynesian Mormon settlement, now lost to time. In the town of Azurville, the residents know two things to be true. One, those who are born in Azurville, die in Azurville. Two, those who die in Azurville, stay in Azurville. Instead of departing this world, their ghosts are left behind in whatever mess the living has left them in. Some residents are fine with this, as it allows them to still be connected with their loved ones. While others find the eternal tether insufferable. When life doesn't end after death, what then gives life its value? Link: https://animatiatrain.com/ RSS Feed: https://pinecast.com/feed/ghost-town

The Shadow is a collection of serialized dramas originating in 1930s pulp novels and later expanding to various media. The titular character has been featured in radio dramas, pulp magazines, comic books, television, serials, video games, and films. Initially created as a radio show narrator, The Shadow was developed into a literary character by Walter B. Gibson in 1931. The radio drama, featuring Orson Welles, premiered in 1937. The Shadow character was depicted as having the power to manipulate men's minds, making them unable to see him. The radio program's iconic introduction, voiced by Frank Readick, and accompanied by a musical theme, has become a part of American idiom. Each episode concluded with a reminder that crime does not pay and The Shadow knows.
Kenny and Mark celebrate the return of the power ballad with Boy Culture himself (and author of the essential Encyclopedia Madonnica) Matthew Rettenmund! Topics include: nepo babies, Celine Dion, potential cover albums, illegal downloads, the value of spite, Jason Derulo, My Two Dads, vocal “edging”, lyrical warnings and promises, bringing a golf club to an apocalypse, Stevie Nicks, Terrence Howard, Ariana Grande, mature dance breaks, resistant industry tides, Taylor Swift, the Ellen residency, Andy Cohen and Sandra Bernhard, and Matt makes a strong case for Rebel Heart as the ultimate embarrassment of riches. Plus, Matt shares the inspiration behind Encyclopedia Madonnica, his evolving embrace (and flexibility) of the fandom ride, rejecting the binge mentality, and another encounter with the legendary (and witty) Liz Rosenberg. “I don't want to focus on the hair."Matthew Rettenmund's BoyCulture website & blog
