Sunday Vibes is a mixshow based on the music I play on Sundays over the years at Club Rio and Dancers Showclub (my current club residency). I think the best way to describe it would be like Fleetwood Mac meets Tribe called Quest, or INXS meets Anderson Paak. Most of the mix is very chill and downtempo for the most part. Sunday Vibes is music based off my Sunday nights in the club scene, mainly Club Rio and Dancers Showclub, where 13 of the last 15 years I've worked Sundays. I've always tried to make it a laidback vibe, so in this mix you won't hear a lot of hip hop unless it's old school, no trap music, but something that's more downtempo and relaxing as we head into a new week.

The Grand County Council passed their 2020 budget this week, including a property tax increase that will help rectify an impending deficit. Plus later in the news, the county now has a noise ordinance on the books, a fitness app might be changing how mountain bikers recreate, and Club Rio closes its doors as a dive bar with one final late night dance party. Tune in.

Episode 57: DJ C.L.A. This week DJ C.L.A. joins the R.O.A.D. podcast. C.L.A. starts off talking about how she came up with her DJ name. She then shares her story of growing up in the Bay Area and later moving to LA. In need of change, C.L.A. explains why she made the move to Las Vegas. C.L.A. speaks of her first DJ residency at Club Rio, and later getting her opportunity with Tao Group. Crooked asks C.L.A. the pros and cons of being a female DJ. C.L.A. gives her opinion on female DJ's that do it for the look and not for the love of the craft. C.L.A. goes on to shed light on some of her favorite female DJ's in the industry. C.L.A. educates the crew on "Silent Savasana", which is a unique yoga experience that she DJ's as well as takes part in during the summer months at locations throughout Las Vegas. C.L.A. gives her perspective on the current state of music in 2018.
