The Atlanta Braves may not be able to climb out of the hole they've dug and make a run this season, but there are still boxes to check before the end of September. Grant McAuley delves into what the Braves can focus on over the final 7 weeks of the season. From getting some key players healthy and back on the field, including Chris Sale and Ronald Acuña Jr., to sizing up some young players who could factor into 2026, there are still things for the Braves to key in on. You'll hear from Sale on his impending return and young gun Hurston Waldrep, who has impressed in two recent appearances. This week's special interviews include a visit with Craig Mish of Sports Grid and FanDuel Sports Florida to discuss the surging Miami Marlins and what this season means for a young club that hopes to be on the rise. We'll also revisit a trade that shocked Braves fans in 1990 as Atlanta legend Dale Murphy explains how he ended up Philadelphia some 35 years ago. The Atlanta Braves stood idly by at the Trade Deadline. Though they had some chips, the team opted to hold and prepare instead to close out 2025 and reassess this winter. Grant McAuley discusses the lack of movement for Atlanta at the deadline, the onus it places on the winter, and a host of other topics from the week that was – including injuries suffered by Ronald Acuña Jr. and Austin Riley, a shining performance from a top pitching prospect pressed into action, some roster shuffling to fortify the rotation and more. You'll hear the comments of Braves GM and President of Baseball Operations Alex Anthopoulos, who shared his thoughts on the deadline with the media on Thursday. Hammer Territory's Brad Rowland joins the show to break down the deadline fallout in Atlanta, while Scott Braun of Foul Territory helps size up one of the busiest trade weeks in MLB history. In hour 1 Andy and Randy get in to yet another Braves injury in the 2025 season, and with NFL training camps in full swing, who can we expect to be cut?
Baffling. The only word that can be used to describe the 2025 Atlanta Braves' season. The unbelievably bad start buy the offense was merely the tip of the iceberg. The opening day rotation eventually ended up on, and are currently on, the 60-day IL for various reasons. That in of itself is almost incomprehensible. Now, Ronald Acuña Jr. is hurt again, this time an Achilles. Ronald will be back in Atlanta this week to get an MRI, but was seen in a boot after Tuesday's game vs the Kansas City Royals. This was only precautionary (we hope), but Acuña Jr was already placed on the 10-day IL by the team. Hopefully the news comes back positive, but even with positive news, we may have seen the last of Ronald Acuña Jr. for the 2025 season. Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael explore the Acuña Jr. injury a bit further, and what the outlook for the rest of 2025 may look like.

Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael talk about the city of Atlanta taking baseball center stage, and how hometown hero Matt Olson, and Braves phenom Ronald Acuña Jr. can have impacts all week.
The 4th of July has passed, but there will be some fireworks in Atlanta in just a few days as one of the most electrifying events in baseball takes center stage. The Home Run Derby. A stacked field will arrive at Truist Park ready to put on a show. The eight contestants consist of Cal Raleigh, James Wood, Junior Caminero, Byron Buxton, Brent Rooker, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Oneil Cruz and Ronald Acuña Jr. Jake and Jordan have been bursting with excitement for this year's Derby, and now they break down the field and ultimately pick a winner. While those home run hitters are preparing to show off their power, the next great home run hitters might be waiting to hear their names called as the MLB Draft is just a couple of days away. The Washington Nationals have the number one pick, and coming off of a recent franchise overhaul, with the firing of their long-time GM and manager, they hope to take someone who will help carry them into the future. Jake and Jordan discuss this and chat about names to look out for in the 2025 MLB Draft. MLB has announced its top-20 highest selling jerseys, and to no one's surprise, Shohei Ohtani is at the top of that list. What is surprising is where some other players landed, including those who didn't make or fell off of the list.Last, but surely not least, everyone's favorite segment of the week is here.
