Í lok október var tilkynnt að Universal Music Group hefði fallið frá lögsókn sinn gegn gervigreindarfyrirtækinu Udio sem hefur haldið úti einu vinsælasta spunagreindarforritinu á sviði tónlistar. Um leið og málið var látið niður falla tilkynntu fyrirtækin tvö að þau ætluðu í samstarf. Á næsta ári mun koma út forrit þar sem notendur geta búið til gervigreindartónlist, en tónlistin sem notuð til að kenna gervigreindinni verður ekki illa fengin, heldur notuð með leyfi rétthafanna og þeir munu þá fá hluta af ágóðanum. Íslenska útgáfufyrirtækið Alda Music er hluti af Universal Music Group og við spyrjum framkvæmdastjórann, Sölva Blöndal, um það hvort íslensk tónlist yrði hluti af þessu verkefni. Nú á dögunum fór inn á spilunarlista Rásar 2 lag sem var samið með spunagreind. Við ræðum við Matthías Már Magnússon, dagskrárstjóra, um áskoranirnar sem útvarpsstöðvar standa frammi fyrir á tímum gervigreindartónlistar. Svo ræðum við við leikstjóran Hilmar Oddsson um kvikmyndina Tár úr steini sem verður sýnd í Bíó Paradís um helgina.
