Voice of the Buffs, Mark Johnson, previews tonight CU basketball battle with Washington State at the Coors Events Center...and, looks ahead to Saturday's East-West Shrine game which will include three former Buffs!

Voice of the Buffs, Mark Johnson, looks ahead to the red-hot CU men's basketball team's next home game, this Thursday at the Coors Events Center vs WSU. Meanwhile, the CU women look to right-the-ship on the road this week vs the Arizona schools...and the CU soccer program has announced its upcoming summer soccer camp dates.

Coach Mike MacIntyre hired Kurt Roper to replace Brian Lindgren as the quarterbacks coach. Mark Johnson sat down with Roper to get to know him better. Roper tutored Eli Manning at Ole Miss and Thaddeus Lewis at Duke. The men’s basketball team returns to the court tonight to host No. 4 Arizona State at the Coors Events Center. Hear from coach Tad Boyle. The women’s basketball team hits the road this weekend for the first time in conference action at the Washington schools.

The men’s basketball team hosts a pair of ranked teams this week, in the second week of Conference action, as No. 4 Arizona State and No. 14 Arizona both visit the Coors Events Center. Hear from coach Tad Boyle on the difference between the Buffs two losses at the Oregon schools last weekend. The women’s team heads to the Washington schools. Hear from coach JR Payne. The ski team gets 2017 underway with the Nordic team participating in the US Cross Country Ski Championships in Alaska starting tomorrow. The Pac-12 struggled in bowl games, going a combined 1-8 in games.

The football team had a banner day, receiving National Letters of Intent from 19 players on Wednesday. Coach Mac believes a lot of the players will be ready to hit the field right away. Hear from defensive coordinator DJ Eliot on Israel Antwine. Co-offensive coordinator Klayton Adams talks about QB signee Blake Stenstrom. Coach MacIntyre talks about the importance of keeping Colorado players at the state’s flagship institution. The women’s basketball team is in action tonight against Westminster (Mo.) at the Coors Events Center at 7 p.m.

It’s signing day for football, a new date seven weeks earlier than the normal early February date. Check out CUBuffs.com for more. There will be another signing day on February 7 and the Signing Day Celebration will take place on February 8. Phillip Lindsay was named the Colorado Chapter of the NFF Colorado Offensive Player of the Year. The men’s and women’s basketball teams both have their final non-conference games upcoming, the women will play Westminster (Mo.) on Thursday at the Coors Events Center. Hear from coach JR Payne. The men will wrap up non-conference play in a neutral site game against Iowa in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Hear from coach Tad Boyle.

It was a good Friday night for the basketball teams. The men’s team beat South Dakota State, 112-103 in double overtime to end a two-game slide. Hear from coach Tad Boyle and McKinley Wright, who was one rebound shy of a triple-double. Next up for the Buffs is a match-up with Iowa in Sioux Fallx, Iowa, on Friday. The women’s team used a dominant second half to pull away from Air Force, 68-43. Thursday the Buffs host Westminster (Mo.) at the Coors Events Center.

The women’s basketball team fell to Dartmouth 81-75 Monday at the Coors Events Center. Hear from coach JR Payne after the game. Annika Jank led the way with 26 points on the same day she was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week. The men’s basketball team hosts San Diego tonight at 6 pm, looking to rebound from a loss to Xavier over the weekend. Hear from coach Tad Boyle. Football’s James Stefanou was named a freshman All-American by ESPN on Monday.

The women’s basketball team will host the North Dakota State Bison on Wednesday at the Coors Events Center, fresh off a win in the Rocky Mountain Hoops Classic. Hear from Kennedy Leonard. The men’s basketball team is now 6-0 after Sunday’s win over Air Force. Hear from George King. Saturday the Buffs play at Colorado State with an 11 a.m. tipoff. The volleyball team advanced to the NCAA Tournament, announced Sunday. Hear from Joslyn Hayes. The Buffs travel to Waco, Texas, to play James Madison Friday in the first round.

It was a heavy install day for the football team. Hear from coach Mike MacIntyre on why he doesn’t put much stock into last week’s 37-3 loss, the first of the season for Washington State. It was CU Media Day for the basketball and ski teams at the Coors Events Center. Hear from JR Payne and Tad Boyle as both teams will feature eight players who have never played before. Head to Fate Brewery at 12:30 today for the taping of Buffs Primetime and out to Prentup at 3 pm for the Buffs soccer game.

The football team fell to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in Pac-12 plat after a 27-23 loss at the Rose Bowl to UCLA. Hear from coach Mike MacIntyre, CB Isaiah Oliver and DL Leo Jackson after the loss. Next up is Arizona at Folsom Field Saturday. The volleyball team beat both of the Oregon schools this weekend at the Coors Events Center. The cross country teams and tennis team were all in action at CU’s South Campus and the soccer team had a four point road trip in Washington beating the Cougars and tying the Huskies.

One day closer to the rematch of the Pac-12 Championship Game when No. 7 Washington comes to town. Kickoff is set for 8 pm at Folsom Field. Hear from coach Mike MacIntyre and Isaiah Oliver. The soccer team hosts No. 1 UCLA on Friday at 3:30. The first 100 students receive a free beanie and first 250 fans a free scoop of ice cream. Hear from coach Danny Sanchez. The volleyball team heads to face No. 16 Utah in Salt Lake City Friday before returning home Sunday to host No. 4 and defending national champion. Stanford on Sunday at noon at the Coors Events Center.
