For the first hour of The Drive with Zach Bye and Phillip Lindsay, the guys take a good hard look at last night's playoff-eliminating loss and hold the Avs accountable.  Zach lists off some of the players that had zero goals and dives into more aspects of the loss.  The guys then take a look at some of the other worst losses in Denver sports history and decide how high this one gets ranked.     

In the second hour of The Drive with Zach Bye and Phillip Lindsay, we break down the terrible loss from the night before and compare it to all of the biggest collapses in Denver sports history, and ask the Ramoslaw.com text line which is number one.  The guys took a look at Patrick Mahomes in training camp, so Zach and Phil tell us how they think he looked and how he will look in week one against the Broncos.  We close out the hour by getting into the CU Buffs and how high they think Deion Sanders ranks among the best coaches in the power four conferences.     

In the fourth and final hour of The Drive with Zach Bye and Phillip Lindsay, the fellas try to make sense of the Avs getting swept in the Western Conference Final, and hear what Jared Bednar had to say after the game that might be his last as coach of the Colorado Avalanche.  We also take a listen to what Paul Bissonette said on the Spittin' Chiclets podcast about whether or not the Avs should fire Bednar or if there are other moves they can make without moving on from Jared Bednar.  And to close out the show, the guys welcome in "Scrappy" Will Peterson to give his thoughts on the series before starting Denver Sports Tonight.        

In hour 4 of The Drive, Zach Bye and Phillip Lindsay continue their Nuggets game day breakdown.  The guys take a closer look at who the Broncos drafted with their first 2 picks.  Zach and Phil wonder what happened to the Nuggets culture.  The guys wrap up the show with John Davis and give their predictions.

In hour 3 of The Drive, Zach Bye and Phillip Lindsay react to what David Adleman had to say after the game 4 loss in Minnesota.  The guys discuss whether the Broncos accomplished what they set out to do in the draft.  Can the Nuggets bounce back in game 5?

In hour 2 of The Drive, Zach Bye and Phillip Lindsay take a look at what the Nuggets need to do in a win-or-stay-home game.  With the draft complete, Sean Payton talked about the draft picks.  How do the guys feel about where the Broncos roster is after the draft?  The guys hit the big 3 at 3:30.  The Rockies made history over the weekend.  Has the team become noteworthy in a good way?

In hour 1 of The Drive, with the draft in the rear-view mirror, Zach Bye and Phillip Lindsay recap what the Broncos did and didn't do in this draft.  The Avalanche have swept their way to the second round.  Is there anything that can stop this team?  On the flip side of the coin, the Nuggets seem to be in a free fall.  With a decisive game tonight against Minnesota.  Can the Nuggets rebound and beat a depleted Timberwolves team?

The guys react to the text line and Zach shares his biggest issue with the Colorado Rockies. A lot of people share their anger with the Rockies franchise, Gabe Landeskog, the Nuggets front office, and the chances of a stadium out by the airport. The Broncos playoff probability took a hit over the weekend and the teams that could have helped their odds, did not!  Are the guys nervous about the Broncos missing the playoffs? With their destiny in their own hands is this matchup against the Bengals the most difficult opponent they could have next week?  The odds to win hardware at the end of the year for both Sean Payton and Bo Nix may gone to zero over the weekend. Is there any chance for them to sneak back in or have the odds shifted too far away from them?  Phil recalls the time him and Bradley Chubb were up for rookie of the year honors. The Broncos have one big issue on the offensive side of the ball, what is it and how can they fix it before Sunday? The Mike Tyson and Jake Paul hijacks the program as our guys debate who will win this showdown. The Colorado Avalanche have a lot of pieces coming back, but the most notable piece did not speak during morning skate. Val Nichushkin makes his return to the lineup. What does a nearly healthy Avs roster look like, and will Val make the right impact in his first game back? The Colorado Buffaloes have another big game on Saturday. What challenges do they face against this version of Utah?  

Hour 1 of The Drive kicks off with Zach and Phil cross talking with Dover and Cecil. The guys react to the Nuggets overtime win in Toronto, last night. Do the Nuggets have a lack of urgency? How do the Nuggets look tired only three games into the season? Zach explains why he’s discouraged by the Nuggets start to the season. Zach and Phil react to audio from Stokley on the morning show. Should Jaleel McLaughlin be the Broncos starting running back? Stokley claims that McLaughlin reminds him of Phillip Lindsay, do the guys agree? Travis Hunter has found himself back in the Heisman conversation after falling the previous two weeks. We hear from Shedeur Sanders and who he is rooting to win the Heisman. Does Shedeur still have an opportunity to get his own name into the Heisman conversation? The Nuggets finally gained their first win of the season, did it look the way Zach and Phil were hoping it was going to? Zach shares his concerns about Jamal Murray being back on the injury report and not being able to create separation on the floor.

In hour 3 of The Drive, Zach and Phil debate where the upcoming Colorado and Kansas State game ranks in the recent history of CU games. Is this actually the biggest game for Colorado since the 2016 team featuring our own Phillip Lindsay? Bo Nix was ranked as the 32nd quarterback according to a major media outlet, do Zach and Phil agree? Does Nix get extra credit for limiting his turnovers the last two weeks? We hear from Bo Nix on his performance from last week. Zach challenges Payton Watson to be his best self this season and continue to keep the main part of his game, the main thing.

In hour 3 of The Drive, Zach and Phil hand out their “dude of the day”. What did Jaleel McLaughlin do to stand out to Phil today? We play “Phil in the blank” with Phillip Lindsay. What does Phil think the identity of this Broncos team is? We pivot to Jamal Murray’s slow start to the Olympics. Is there cause for concern with his poor shooting? The guys discuss the new special teams rules and if they’re expecting them to make a big impact early in the season. Zach and Phil gush over what they saw at practice today in Coach Payton vocally coaching the Broncos up and talking through specific situations on the field.

In hour 3 of The Drive, Zach gives Phil two hypotheticals with high upside, would Phil prefer a fully healthy Dulcich or a fully healthy Javonte Williams this season? We play “Phil in the blank” with Phillip Lindsay. Besides the offensive line, who is the best position group the Broncos have? With the Olympics getting underway, where are the guy’s allegiances fall when USA plays Serbia? Zach and Phil continue their debate on whether there should be music out at camp or not and recount Marquette King’s time in Denver. Now that Russell Westbrook is officially a Nugget, how do the guys feel about the singing? What will Westbrook’s role be?

In hour 2 of The Drive, Phillip Lindsay and John Davis dive into Sean Payton’s comments after practice today. Courtland Sutton and the Broncos have agreed to restructure his contract, is this the end of the problems between the two sides? The guys discuss the Broncos secondary and how they looked today. Phil explains why he’s excited to see these young safeties and corners flying around this season. Today’s “Three Count” includes a former Bronco making a comeback to the NFL, Russell Wilson’s injury, and Southwest Airlines changing their seating policy. Phil and John go in depth into the running back room and what each guy can bring to the team.
