Joined today by heavyweight boxer, Fres "Fast Fres" Oquendo. Fres talks about growing up in the infamous Lathrop Holmes projects in Chicago. How boxing kept him away from drugs and violence, and what's the current political climate now in the windy city with all the shootings we see on TV. We discuss his illustrious amateur boxing career where he amassed over 100 wins and under 10 defeats, and how a marijuana bust cost him a chance to represent the U.S. in the Olympics. Fres talks about turning pro, winning his first 22 fights and then dealing with the shady political underworld that is the world of Boxing. We chat about fighting Holyfield, Ruiz, James Toney and why the fight with Mike Tyson in 2001 never happened. "Fast Fres" breaks down his lawsuit that has been all over the news, what's next and why even as a # 1 ranked contender he never got his title fight. We talk about his F.O.B.A charity and all the incredible things he does to give back to the community, how his charity delivered over 1000 meals to Puerto Rico and Mexico after disaster struck and how all this led him to boxing legend Wilfredo Benetiz. From mentally dealing with his first loss to David Tua to meeting Ali, and of course his beef with Dan Rafael. All this and much more. -The WBA have again ordered Manuel Charr vs Fres Oquendo for their ‘regular’ heavyweight title. Winner must face the winner of Trevor Bryan vs Jarrell Miller, which has been ordered for the ‘interim’ belt. -Eddie Hearn declared that he believes Dillian Whyte has now received a "good offer" to rematch Anthony Joshua on April 13th at Wembley, though Jarrell Miller is more realistic with his financial demands than Whyte, Wilder or Fury. -However, Dmitriy Salita has informed World Boxing News there have been no talks regarding an Anthony Joshua v Jarrell Miller fight.-With that being said, Due to SkySports Boxing. Eddie Hearn has publicly urged Dillian Whyte to take the Anthony Joshua fight next and warned him that - if he's waiting to become WBO mandatory - then he may lose out because cruiserweight 'super champion' Oleksandr Usyk can take that spot ahead of anyone. -After ordering the Wilder vs Fury rematch, WBC say their heavyweight mandatory position is "under process" by their board. Could see a Dominic Breazeale vs Dillian Whyte for an 'interim' title-What does the champ think? Deontay Wilder on Dillian Whyte to PBC rumours: "I think that'd be the best decision he'd ever make in his career... That'd bring him more close to getting a fight with me than anything." Bellator announces that they are getting back in the PPV business. They will roll out Chael Sonnen vs Wanderlei Silva as their first main event. It will take place in Madison Square Garden.
