Andrew Moloney defeated Willibaldo Garcia Perez to win the IBF junior bantamweight title. Also, Michael Angeletti defeated Kenneth Llover in a bantamweight bout with title implications, and in “the bad boy bout,” John Riel Casimero stopped Luis Nery in four rounds. Then, we switch gears to history – Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez looks to further his legacy as he aims to be a three-division world champion, as he faces WBA bantamweight champion, Antonio Vargas. Rodriguez is currently No.3 on Lukie's pound-for-pound list, and even higher on others. Benavidez, though, is the current man of the moment after he took Gilberto Ramirez apart with astonishing savagery to leave fans – and now Team Benavidez – considering the prospect of a move to heavyweight and a challenge to Oleksandr Usyk.
