Rückblick: Umar Dzambekov vs. Ahmed Elbiali Efe Ajagba vs. Charles Martin Leigh Wood vs. Josh Warrington Mario Barrios vs. Ryan Garcia Gary Antuanne Russell vs. Andy Hiraoka Viktor Jurk vs. Elder Hernandez Gama Vorschau: Claressa Shields vs. Franchon Crews Dezurn Moussa Gholam vs. Melving Lopez Paul Wall vs. Guido Emmanuel Schramm Fedor Michel vs. David Camacho Diaz Serge Michel vs. Attila Baran Endrit Ademi vs. TBA Ismet Ademi vs. TBA Emanuel Navarrete vs. Eduardo Nunez Tahmir Smalls vs. Abel Ramos Emiliano Vargas vs. Agustin Ezequiel Quintana News: Box-Legende Floyd Mayweather (48) kündigt Profi-Comeback nach Showkampf gegen Mike Tyson an. Conor Benn verlässt Matchroom Boxing und unterschreibt bei Zuffa Boxing. DAZN verlängert Partnerschaft mit Matchroom Boxing um fünf Jahre in Großbritannien und USA. Ringside Zone-Event mit Nina Meinke steigt am Kampf am 20. März in Hamburg. Showkampf: Manny Pacquiao boxt am 18. April 2026 in Las Vegas gegen Ex-Weltmeister Ruslan Provodnikov. Anthony Joshua könnte im Juli wieder boxen, wenn das Trainingslager gut läuft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqj6aVpWeKk Foto und Bearbeitung: Boxpodcast
There's clearly a lot more to this Conor Benn and Matchroom relationship than we are being led to believe because Conor would've made good money with Matchroom, and so for him to leave and move to Zuffa, and essentially relocate his whole career to the United States tells us that maybe the garden wasn't as rosy as people made out. You never saw them being particularly close which is always a red flag. It's the same with Anthony Joshua so you feel like Conor Benn moving to Zuffa Boxing has left Match very exposed and very devoid of star power in the UK.
Ade Oladipo and Gareth A Davies unpack a busy day in North London as Tyson Fury made his return to boxing, speaking to the assembled media for the first time in 15 months following his loss to Oleksandr UsykWe hear from him on why he returned, telling us that boxing ' needs' him, he also had some powerful words in support of Anthony Joshua following the tragic passing of his two close friends earlier this year. His father John did his level best to make himself front and centre of the event, we ask if his presence is a help or hinderance to the fight card.Away from Fury, we look ahead to two big fights this weekend, Mario Barrios fights Ryan Garcia for the WBC Welterweight title, meanwhile it could be the last dance for both Leigh Wood & Josh Warrington who meet in a long awaited rematch in Nottingham.Plus we hear from Dana White who has taken aim at Eddie Hearn in the wake of his most recent Zuffa boxing event! Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn explodes in a fiery, no-holds-barred interview, reacting to the latest headlines in boxing and shutting down critics in typical fashion. From Anthony Joshua's next move to promoter rivalries and heavyweight shake-ups — Hearn doesn't hold back. In this video:

Send us a textThe commentary was loud, so we hit mute—and found a surprisingly fun night of fights underneath the noise. We start with Paramount Plus stepping into live boxing with Zuffa, where slick production and uniform trunks met a broadcast team that wouldn't stop selling narratives. Once the volume dropped, the action spoke for itself: Trinidad-Ornelas delivered a clean showcase of pressure fighting and heart, the kind of one-sided bout that still keeps you glued to the screen. From there, we unpack Sandoval vs Rodriguez, a classic scoring riddle where forward motion and volume lost to timing and cleaner shots. The judges went wide; we explain why it looked close and still ended up 99-91 on cards. Then it's Callum Walsh vs Carlos Ocampo, a clear win that left us wanting more. Walsh's twitchy, awkward style unsettled Ocampo, but without the stoppage others found, the performance raised fair questions about finishing layers and next steps for a rising draw with a passionate Irish fan base.Outside the Paramount orbit, heavyweight reality crashed into influencer fantasy. Anthony Joshua's knockout of Jake Paul ended the “what if” talk with a reminder of what real power feels like at the top of the sport. Credit to Paul for taking the risk; the result was inevitable and necessary. We close on Subriel Matias' knockout loss to Dalton Smith and the uncomfortable shadow of past PED issues. Clean sport isn't optional in boxing—it's the line between spectacle and danger—and this result rekindles the call for consistent oversight. If you're a boxing fan who cares about matchmaking, judging criteria, broadcast quality, and fighter safety, you'll feel right at home here. (Season 3: Episode 10)We're closing out Season 3 the only way The Burner Syndicate knows how: loud takes, sharp debates, and a little chaos
On this episode of Conduct Detrimental: THE Sports Law Podcast, Dan Lust (@SportsLawLust) is joined by Mike Lawson (@Mikesonoflaw) and Mike Kravchenko (Watch on YouTube) to reunite for a Mike & Mike edition tackling the latest sports law stories of the week. The trio opens with the Demond Williams NIL saga, breaking down the Washington quarterback's $4 million revenue-sharing agreement, his abrupt transfer announcement, the Washington blockade, and his dramatic reversal to stay with the Huskies. The trio discusses the enforceability of NIL contracts in a post-House settlement world, who pays buyout clauses when players breach deals, and why Williams split with Wasserman mid-process. The conversation shifts to Trinidad Chambliss and his denied sixth-year waiver appeal. The Ole Miss playoff quarterback, who led Ferris State to a Division II title before transferring, faced NCAA rejection over insufficient medical documentation from 2022. Tom Mars entered the fight to appeal, but Mike K explains why four-year-old medical records and Ferris State's lack of documentation create a difficult case.Next, the episode dives into trademark chaos surrounding the Las Vegas Athletics. The USPTO denied the team's applications for "Las Vegas Athletics" and "Vegas Athletics" as geographically descriptive and too generic—despite the same name working in Philadelphia, Kansas City, and Oakland. Mike K unpacks the Oakland fan group Last Dive Bar's competing trademark claim, the reality of what the USPTO website actually shows, and whether the A's will rebrand entirely or fight through appeals before their 2028 Vegas stadium opens. Mike L closes baseball with the breaking news of Max Kepler's 80-game PED suspension. The discussion then turns to Anthony Joshua, where Dan provides an update on the recent car crash in Nigeria that left two dead. Dan walks through what this means, the evidentiary challenges of a destroyed vehicle, and the tragedy of Joshua's world flipping from a knockout victory over Jake Paul to losing friends in a crash.Mike L and Dan tackle the ugliest side of sports: online harassment and death threats aimed at kickers. Following Tyler Loop's missed playoff kick for the Ravens and Chris Boswell's blocked extra point for the Steelers, both faced vicious online attacks. The episode wraps with quick hits on Stefon Diggs, whose felony strangulation arraignment was postponed until after the Super Bowl despite originally facing arraignment during the AFC Championship—raising questions about the NFL's Personal Conduct Policy and why he's still suiting up for the Patriots. Mike L shares his what to watch for: a preview of the Supreme Court's January 13th arguments on transgender athlete bans in Idaho and West Virginia.Let us know your thoughts!***Have a topic you want to write about? End-of-year energy has everyone saying they're “protecting their peace,” but this episode asks the sharper question: what piece are people actually protecting? Peace of mind, a piece of clout, a baddie era, or something more? This episode breaks down the contradiction of claiming peace while starting beef, soft-launching new personalities, and redefining confidence online — including the internet debate over whether men can be baddies. The conversation zooms out to global politics with a clear, accessible breakdown of the Venezuela crisis: how the country got here, what's happening now, and why it feels like political Groundhog Day, with a brief Iraq-era parallel. We also unpack internet culture's cycle of selective outrage, where new villains and victims are crowned weekly depending on gender, looks, popularity, and bias. The episode closes with the Anthony Joshua situation and what it reveals about modern journalism, media framing, and why protecting your piece of the truth matters.Protect your peace if you must —but don't forget to protect your piece.Total Runtime: 1:26:000:00 — Music intro1:05 — Welcome to The Sidebar Podcast2:30 — Holiday check-in + end-of-year energy6:10 — “Protecting your peace”… while starting beef11:45 — Soft-launching new personalities16:20 — Can men be “baddies”? In this bonus episode of Selective Ignorance, Mandii B reflects on the transition into 2026, blending personal storytelling with cultural and social commentary as she unpacks lessons from the past year. She shares insights from a Christmas trip to Curaçao, using the experience to explore the importance of family traditions, rest, and redefining what home means during life transitions. The conversation shifts to a tragic incident involving Anthony Joshua, sparking a deeper discussion about accountability, reckless behavior, and the real-world consequences of individual actions. Mandii also offers candid reflections on cultural experiences in Nigeria, balancing admiration for its richness with concerns around safety, infrastructure, and the realities of global travel. As the new year approaches, she challenges the popular “new year, new me” mindset, emphasizing accountability, consistency, and intentional growth over performative resolutions. On this episode of the Mallory Bros Podcast, the guys kick things off with a recap of Christmas morning, talking gifts, family time, being with the kids, and everything that comes with the holidays. That conversation naturally turns into a bigger question: is the Christmas magic gone? From there, the bros debate whether it's acceptable to bring a gaming console to the birth of your child after a tweet from Terrell went viral and sparked heavy discussion online. They then shift to serious news, reacting to Anthony Joshua's tragic accident in Nigeria, paying respect to those who lost their lives, and unpacking the circumstances surrounding the event. Next up, the guys talk about A$AP Rocky announcing a January release date for his upcoming album Don't Be Dumb—hopefully. They discuss whether the album will actually drop, what to expect creatively, and how Rocky's sound may evolve years after his prime run. The conversation then turns to Beyoncé officially becoming a billionaire, which opens a deeper discussion about wealth, ethics, and whether billionaires should be celebrated. That leads into a debate about dating etiquette: is it ever okay to ask for a box on the first date? Terrell pushes back on the idea that it signals financial instability and offers a different perspective. The two clash ideas here. Terrance then asks whether it's an underrated blessing to be with a woman who doesn't post on Instagram, following another trending conversation online. The episode wraps with a Cheers to 2026, as the bros share reflections on the year, personal resolutions, and goals for the Realest 9 moving forward. They close with thoughts on Draymond Green's take on playing NBA games on Christmas, some NFL talk as we prep for the last game of the season, and a small but common JD5 debate to take us out,. This week on the podcast the Bros are back to finish off the Christmas holiday with the family, kicking things off with their weekly weekend recap. That includes Terrance hosting a close friend and serving some very underwhelming wings, and Terrell unfortunately spending money on his car this holiday season, which he is not happy about at all. The Bros decided to wear matching quarter zips for this episode, so visual podcast watchers will definitely have a moment with this one. Think of it as the only gift the Bros could give you outside of the podcast itself. Of course the episode still launches with WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE, now paired perfectly with the matching sweaters. The conversation moves into the Bros talking about how excited they are to expand their Patreon content, specifically reacting to movies and television. They believe people will really enjoy watching content with them, not just listening. Next, the Bros dive into Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua, the Netflix event that took over the weekend and opened a larger conversation about the next level of entertainment and what creators are willing to do to reach it. And of course, they talk about Jake's broken jaw. From there, the Bros speak on Netflix bringing podcasts to its platform after recently striking a deal with iHeartMedia. They get into whether this move signals a real expansion of the podcast wave or if Netflix is simply taking advantage of the current moment. Only time will tell. The conversation then shifts to Nicki Minaj's recent appearance and how she's perceived completely differently now, even though there may have been writing on the wall. That leads into a discussion about being a woman's first nice guy and why that role is not for the weak. Terrance also makes a hot take on women rappers being able to sustain relationships while maintaining their rap image. And of course, the most talked about topic on the timeline this past week, 21 Savage's tweets starting a “fuck the streets” movement. The Bros debate authenticity and intention. Is this really about the streets, or is it just petty hip hop beef? What are the intentions and what's next? The Bros don't have all the details, but they don't hold back. “We poddin',” Terrance says. Lastly, the Bros talk about the death of the modern comedy film and how it's shifted into a more superhero and satirical lane that focuses on politics and safe jokes rather than freely trying to get laughs. Terrell brings up Dave Chappelle's new stand up as a perfect example of the old way of comedy that doesn't seem to fit in the film world today, maybe for good reason. Another week with the Bros. Merry f'n Christmas and happy holidays.

On this episode of The Schaub Show, Brendan Schaub gives his unfiltered breakdown of Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua, why the fight was never competitive, and why calling it “brave” completely misses the point. Brendan explains how the fight should have been marketed, why the idea of a “puncher's chance” doesn't apply at this level, and how boxing continues to sell narratives that casual fans don't fully understand. He also breaks down the difference between actually engaging in a fight versus surviving for rounds, why the money changes everything, and why this kind of matchup could only happen in boxing. The episode also touches on boxing vs MMA, how real fighting works at the elite level, the role of promotion and streaming platforms, and why Jake Paul has been able to exploit a broken system while making more money than most champions ever will.DraftKings - Download the DraftKings Sportsbook app and use code SCHAUBSHOW. RUNDOWN Did you see Anthony Joshua knocking out Jake Paul in a Netflix spectacle that somehow guaranteed both fighters $92 million? While relieved to see Paul finally get hit for real, Mitch is stunned that global interest was strong enough to justify such an enormous payout for an eight-round exhibition. The segment becomes a blunt look at influencer economics, Netflix's business model, and why modern fame—not boxing legitimacy—now drives sports entertainment. Hotshot relives an on-air argument about whether Andy Gibb was a Bee Gee, while Mitch tells the story of getting yanked off a Syracuse DJ shift for interrupting a song to announce Andy Gibb's death. They pivot to Thursday night's Seahawks win over the Rams—Hotshot admits the overturned two-point conversion still feels "cheap," and Mitch argues the lack of urgency proves Seattle believed the play was designed as a forward pass until it wasn't. The segment ends with Mr. Playoffs logic: even if Seattle grabs the NFC's top seed, the Rams likely become the dangerous 5-seed and could boomerang right back into Seattle's divisional-round path. Ray Roberts joins Mitch for an intense Upon Further Review debate, rejecting the idea that the Rams are clearly better and arguing the two teams are neck-and-neck, winning in different ways. He points to Seattle's resilience, defensive toughness, and locker-room connectedness as unmeasurable traits that data and "eye tests" often miss, especially when a team keeps finding ways to win close games. The conversation drills into the overtime drive, the two-point conversion, Sam Darnold's growth, and whether the real breakthrough may be Clint Kubiak learning how best to deploy his quarterback under pressure. Henderson and Bevens dissect the Seahawks' improbable comeback over the Rams, with both pointing to belief, crowd energy, and elite special teams as the real difference-makers in a game Seattle otherwise struggled to control. The conversation zeroes in on Sam Darnold's fourth-quarter and overtime composure—ugly early, elite late—and whether that drive permanently shifts his ceiling against top competition. They also credit Sean McVay's adjustments for the Rams' offensive surge while arguing Seattle's defense and special teams ultimately tilted the outcome. Neuheisel reacts to the opening round of the College Football Playoff, arguing the Group of Five's lack of competitiveness will force structural change, possibly toward a separate championship or play-in model. He weighs quarterback decisions in the NIL era—suggesting Oklahoma's John Mateer should return to college for a more lucrative year—while breaking down Alabama's escape, Miami's survival, Oregon's dominance, and Ole Miss' surge behind Trinidad Chambliss. The segment closes with Michigan's coaching uncertainty, Neuheisel's skepticism about splash hires, and Taco Time honors for Reuben Bain and Chambliss after standout performances. On this episode of The Fighter and The Kid, Brendan Schaub and Bryan Callen break down the news that Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua is actually happening — and why this fight is way more dangerous than people think.Brendan explains why Anthony Joshua is on a completely different level as a boxer, why the size and power difference matters, and why this matchup shouldn't even be close. He also talks about why a loss wouldn't hurt Jake Paul's brand at all, but why a win would completely flip the boxing world upside down. They get into why Jake Paul's past opponents don't compare, what real heavyweight power looks like, how this fight even came together, and why this is the moment the Jake Paul experiment gets truly tested. The rest of the episode moves through road stories, hunting talk, sports, and the usual TFATK chaos.
