Atmosphère ! « En lisant le scénario, je n'étais pas enthousiasmé par cette scène, raconta Marcel Carné, c‘est tiré par les cheveux. J'avais presque envie de la couper mais je me dis qu'avec l'accent d Arletty  cela allait passer. Quitte à me faire engueuler par la production, autant tourner la scène même s'il faut la couper ensuite. Toute la drôlerie, de la scène, on la doit àArletty . On ne la voit pas dans le texte. Quand les flics l'arrêtent et qu'elle réplique « pour une bonne prise, c'est une bonne prise », ça c'est réel, c'est jaillissant, naturel. Mais  atmosphère… Est-ce que la dernière des putains de Pigalle connaît même le mot ? Or, à mon grand étonnement, dès les premières projections les gens riaient. C'était la première fois qu'on riait à mes films. Par exemple,  Hôtel du Nord, lui, a eu beaucoup de succès tout de suite. Tous les producteurs se sont jetés sur Arletty. Elle avait eu 60.000 francs à l'époque, pour le film suivant, elle a gagné 300.000 francs,  Le succès du film a été tel que par la suite on a failli classer l'hôtel monument historique. Les guides, dans les péniches qui passaient devant, annonçaient aux touristes : « Et voici l'hôtel du Nord, c'est là que Marcel Carré a tourné son fameux film »… alors que nous avons tout reconstitué en studio ! » ARLETTY "Atmosphère...atmosphère...est-ce que j'ai une gueule d'atmosphère?...". Cette réplique culte est aujourd'hui dans tous les esprits. Cette réplique d'Hôtel du Nord, qu'Arletty prononce avec toute sa gouaille, près du Canal Saint-Martin, à un Louis Jouvet cynique...C'est Marcel Carné qui propulsa définitivement Arletty au firmament des actrices françaises de l'entre-deux-guerres. Ses meilleurs films : "Pension Mimosas" de Jacques Feyder, "Faisons un rêve", "Les perles de la couronne" ainsi que "Désiré" tous trois de Sacha Guitry, "La Chaleur du sein" de Jean Boyer, "Hôtel du Nord","Le Jour se lève, "Les Visiteurs du Soir" et "Les Enfants du Paradis" (ses meilleurs films), "Fric-Frac" de Autant-Lara, "Circonstances atténuantes" de Jean Boyer, "Madame Sans-Gêne" de Roger Richebé, "Huis Clos" de Jacqueline Audry, "Maxime" de Henri Verneuil et "Le Jour le plus long" (sa participation)

Mais aussi : - Un entretien avec ledirecteur du Théâtre de la Ville de Paris, Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota. Il est à l'origine de« consultations poétiques » qui, confinement oblige, se font par téléphone. Une cinquantaine de comédiens participent à cette initiative et échangent en poésie avec qui le demande en français ou en d'autres langues.
