Waste No Day: A Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical Motivational Podcast
In today's show, we are putting Lance Sinclair in your passenger seat talking about the subjects of recruiting and retainment. Every employee of a company is an ambassador to new potential hires. We all have the ability to recruit in our own circle of influence and in turn begin assembling the team that we really want around us. Just like a coach selects specific players to be on his team, so we can begin drafting the next MVP for ours. We talk about this and more with Lance Sinclair of Authority Brands. Lance serves as the Vice President of Authority Brands overseeing One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and Mister Sparky Electric. Lance has over 17 years in the industry and has worked in areas ranging from leadership development and training to operations. Today, he joins the show to lend his expertise to an area where everyone is struggling: getting good people. One of his most recently published articles in HVACR Business was entitled “The Problem Isn't Turnover; It's Retention,” and he continues to discuss this idea on the show today.
On “I HAVE TODAY with Diane Forster” my guest is Mentalist & Hypnotist, Lance Sinclair. Lance and I connected a couple of months ago on Clubhouse, and I was so impressed with him, I just had to have him on the show! Many people think that hypnosis is weird and doesn't work. They think that if someone puts them under hypnosis, the hypnotist will make them quack like a duck or some other embarrassing thing. While there are those silly hypnotists out there, Lance is NOT “that guy.” Lance Sinclair uses performance art, hypnosis, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and applied neuroscience to close the gap between where people are and where they want to be by eliminating subconscious blocks that stand in their way. And he does it in MINUTES!!! The results are immediate, effective, and permanent. “It only takes a moment to pick up a limiting belief that you spend years believing and letting it hold you back. If it only takes a moment to pick it up, it only takes a moment to change it.” - Lance Sinclair Tune in to this episode because Lance did a Limited Belief Clearing LIVE on the show...for me AND for all of you! You can watch, participate, and let go of something holding you back, too. Be sure to stay until the end. Follow Diane: WEBSITE https://www.dianeforster.com/

The simplicity, beauty and depiction of a time gone by are all reasons for our love of monochromatic films.
Do films have a responsibility to tackle sensitive topics? Lance Sinclair has his moral compass out as he explores morality in films.
Grieg: Featuring members from almost every prominent brisbane punk band through the 2000’s, Grieg features Alex Gillies; member of No Anchor and A Savage God on drums, Tamara Dawn from Hits and Gazoonga Attack on Bass, John Mercer from Undead Apes and Dick Nasty on guitar, and Lance Sinclair on vocals. Together they bring big noise, big riffs, and a heaviness that could only be achieved by a band comprised of this many stellar Brisbane artists. They have released one album so far, titled ‘Retaliate First’, and is available digitally or on vinyl through their Bandcamp page. Recorded live at Crowbar, Brisbane, on the 10th of June 2016. Recorded by Reuben Aptroot & mixed by Branko Cosic. Eat Laser Scumbag! Kicking it around Brisbane since the early 2000’s, Eat Laser Scumbag! released their first EP in 2005 and have been sparingly playing their brand of punk rock all over the place since. Like most Brisbane bands, Eat Laser Scumbag! is made up of members who all play in another band. In this case, the two guitarists Ashley Timms and Nathan Gygar play in Nova Scotia, bassist Adam Scott plays in Undead Apes (who we have previously featured in Episode 178), and finally Xavier Poropat on drums from Eyes Ninety (who we also previously featured in Episode 180). Their latest EP ‘Chakras Aligned’ was released in September 2014 and is available online through their Bandcamp. This set you are about to hear is their first show on Australian soil in four years. Recorded live at Sonic Masala Festival on the 13th of August 2016. Recorded by Reuben Aptroot & mixed by Branko Cosic. Airing details: Originally via Zed Digital, 7-8pm, Sunday 16th of October 2016.
