All of this is in pursuit of being ready for the competition – ready for game day. As Christians, we have our own exercises – we call them spiritual practices. We grow stronger in our faith through reading Scripture. We grow more agile and increase endurance through fasting and silence and solitude. We develop muscle memory through gratitude.
