Paul is a former Executive Director of The Monroe Institute, in Faber Virginia, known for its pioneering work in the exploration of human consciousness. He became interested in consciousness exploration due to a mystical experience that unfolded during a construction accident in 1980. This profoundly life-changing event convinced him to enroll at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree in 1985. During his 15 years of service as a Presbyterian pastor, he studied extensively in the fields of consciousness and spirituality, seeking to bring together traditional meditation techniques with contemporary expressions of spiritual exploration. His first book, A Spiritual Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Universe: Travel Tips for the Spiritually Perplexed, was published in 2009. He is currently working on his second book: Time, Money, Dreaming and Enlightenment.

I am currently reading "The Spiritual Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe," by Paul Rademacher. In the book, Rademacher explores the nature of good and evil and our perception of it. Is the universe really divided into 2 opposite polarities? Or are they simply 2 sides of the same coin? Understanding this question could alter the way we perceive and experience the world around us. While exploring this, I also explore the concept of "God." Is he simply a judgmental being that looks like a man sitting in Heaven? Or is the concept of "God" a misunderstood personified representation of the universal creative life-force that runs through all things in existence? If he is not the personified judgmental man sitting in a cloud, then why was such a story created in the first place?
